The Tradtions

"Well, your beverage is up to you," Cale replied with a small shrug. He looked up at the menu again, seeing what drinks they had. "I think I'll stick with a coke. But, you're always welcome to get a milkshake."

[Low Shoulder]

"Naw, I'll get a coke like you" she smiled and ordered a coke. "Coke it is" the man at the register said. "Thanks" Jade said.

"Alrighty then," Cale said with a chuckle. He walked up to the register and ordered the two slices of sausage pizza and another coke as well. As he waited for the food to arrive, he pulled out a few crumpled dollars. Enough to pay for their lunch at least.

Jade handed him 3 bucks. "Enough for a snack on the way..." she stopped herself. "Wait. Where are we gonna go? None of us have anywhere to go." She frowned and leaned on Cale's shoulder.

Cale thought about it with a small shrug. "I'm not sure yet," he admitted with a small sigh, draping his arm over her shoulder. "We might have to stay at our homes until it's sorted out."

[Low Shoulder]

Jade sighed, and kissed him. When their lips met everything went blank. She felt a small shock but again, payed no mind to it. she stopped and looked at him, wondering what he thought.

Cale gently kissed her back, feeling that small spark. After a short while, he pulled away. He felt that small shock again, similar to the one when they first held hands. Their food was waiting on the counter. Cale placed the few dollars on the counter and took the tray. "See an open seat?" he asked, looking around.

"Yeah right over there," she pointed to a small table and 2 chairs, "Let's sit..." Just then 2 of the most popular girls in town sat in the seat. She whispered to Cale, "I hate them!" she looked at him and pointed to another seat. They sat down.

Cale scowled slightly at the girls when their table was taken. "I do too," he whispered back, taking a sip of his coke. "They think that they're all that." He rolled his eyes slightly. "When they're really not."

One of the girls, Jessica, snapped her fingers and a man in a black suit came over to them. Jade could over hear them talking and the other girl, Carissa, said "Get everyone out of here now! We want this place spotless except for the people who work here." Jade gasped, "Cale...did you hear that?" she scowled.
