Sett [1]

sᴇᴛᴛ ● ᴍᴀʟᴇ ● ᴍɪᴅ ᴛᴡᴇɴᴛɪᴇs ● ʟᴇᴀɢᴜᴇ ᴏꜰ ʟᴇɢᴇɴs ● ᴛᴀɢs; ʏᴜʙɪ
Life is great for Sett and today was not any different. Nothing gives him more joy than to break bones and the necks of anyone that was in his way and now- anyone that dared to step up to him. He enjoys the new challenges day by day but sometimes he does get tired and unimpressed when those he fought turns out to not put up much of a fight. At the end of the day, coming home to his mother's scent and her greeting him made Sett knew this was all worth it. He couldn't see her every day but when he returns home, he would help her the best he can and spend their time together. Vastayans were long-lived, he knew that but he wanted to cherish every moment he could with his mother. Her violet fur was his favorite color. Today, he's not in the modest bed of his hometown and was instead laying sat upon his luxury bed of a nearby house he owned, his top-half naked. An ice bag on his knuckles, he yawned, his sharp teeth bares, which he immediately covered with the now cold backside of his hand. Taking out one of the ice and crunching it between his teeth, he was still a bit restless from today's endeavors but he was a bit fatigued still. He knew he had to rest so he had placed the bag of ice down and continued his bedtime routine- by standing up and do as many extreme stretches and exercises that it takes to make him pass out.

Muscles aches were no longer a problem to Sett who was used to pain, bruises, lacerations, broken bones or anything else that could get from fights. After some time, they were pretty much dulled for him or he simply paid them no mind. What he did not expect when he woke up was to smell a different scent. His eyes were slightly opened but he's not in a fight or flight reaction state yet, having just been barely waking up. His ears twitched by themselves at the sound of something crashing but he still didn't get up, wanting to sleep in which wasn't that unusual for him on bad days. It just happens. Though, hearing a voice inside his head that wasn't his or him imagining his mother talking to him was... surprising. His eyes opened and he blinked a few times to clear his vision. Wake up- wake - up.
"The hell." Sett, topless, sat up his bed- just like last night but this time, in a completely different room and there's a kid in here. Wait. There's a kid- "Huh." Sett brought a hand up to his forehead and began massaging it. Was he right in the head? His foreign bed was comfortably big enough for him but the strangeness of the situation made him crack his neck and standing up. Thankfully, he was wearing pants.

"Did you just say something kid?" Sett asked the kid in a slightly lower-pitched voice. He wasn't good with kids, not to say that he dislikes them, it's just not a thing he's experienced with. Also, the voice he heard- it was... de-attached, not like someone actually said it. Kinda made him iffy. Stretching his body, he looked around and tried to assess the situation. What did he get himself into? A few moments later, he saw a letter as well as some kind of bracelet on the nightstand next to him. He stared at another bed inside the room and it didn't take him long to sober and see another similar nightstand turned into pieces of broken wood and splinters. Amused, he smirked at the kid. Sett only saw the giant leaf the child carried just now. Cute. "Ya did that?" He asked with a completely impressed voice. He wouldn't expect such strength coming from a child. Gathering his thoughts again, his focus returned to the letter on the bedside and picked it up, recognizing the bracelet on the child's arm to look the same as the one on the bedside- just far smaller. He stared at it, reading it with pure malcontent directed towards being pulled into such a strange situation. Do I have to babysit a damn kid? Sett thought to himself as he started to read the letter.

      Ann Takamaki!!
xxxxfemale seventeen years old persona 5 tagged: remy & amara
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

It had been yet another exhausting day for Ann. Ever since they had successfully made it through Sae's palace, she had been finding it hard to rest easy. She felt terrible for what Ren had had to endure because of the trap they had setup, but he seemed no worse for wear after it all now that he had been freed from his brief imprisonment. Even so, she still found herself exhausted from worrying over him. There was no telling how long it would be before they noticed that their leader wasn't actually dead like they had declared and given that they knew who he was now, he was in danger being by himself during the day like he was. Letting a sigh escape her lips, she knew there wasn't much she could do during this time. She couldn't ditch school to be by his side or anything like that. All she could do was hope that he would be safe and visit him as often as she could once school let out for the day. Shaking the thought aside, Ann sprawled out across her bed, not even bothering to change from her school uniform. She had only just gotten home after visiting Leblanc. Although Ren was on leave from the school, via permission from Sojiro, Ann still found herself going to study in his presence though most sessions didn't accomplish much at all much like how tonight had gone. Smiling at the thought of the conversation they had been engrossed in for so many hours, the teen found herself drifting to sleep without a second thought.

After what seemed like only a few mere moments, Ann began to wake from her slumber. Stirring in her sleep, a stifled groaned escaped the young girl's lip as she turned onto her side. Still dazed by sleep, she slowly started coming to. Her eyes began to crack open and the world around her became a blur at first. Shifting around in her place, it became instantly clear to her how uncomfortable she currently was. The clothes around her felt tighter than she remembered her and almost reminded her of the way her thieves outfit usually fit. There was no reason for her to wake up in such attire though unless someone how somehow dragged her into the Metaverse all while leaving her still in a bed. Wiggling around a bit under the covers, she could feel the tail hitting against her backside giving a clear indication that she was indeed wearing the skintight suit. That was only one of the strange things. The second was the fact that she was under the covers rather than on top of them. It was possible that in her sleep she could have done such a thing, but as her vision began to focus, everything in the room became clear. That included the blanket that laid over her body. It was nothing like the one she had back home.

In a panic, Ann threw the covers back and scrambled to her feet. She hadn't yet noticed the others in the room. Her entire focus was on her space and nothing else. Biting down on her lip nervously, she tried thinking of a possible solution; one that would make sense to her, but it was to no avail. Whatever was happening was something that she could not explain. Was it possible that this was all a dream? Perhaps, but she felt awake. Even so nothing around her look familiar and she was certain that it was not some place in the Metaverse. Nothing seemed to give any indication that it would be. Usually the Metaverse had a certain vibe to it that was hard to shake. This place lacked that. That left Ann with absolutely no explanation on the situation she found herself in. Frowning at the thought, her eyes darted to the nightstand that sat at her bedside and noticed not only the familiar cat mask sitting there, but a letter as well. Maybe it would have some answers to her questions. There was only one way to find out. Picking the mask up first, she placed it upon her face before reaching for the letter.

Scanning over the cursive writing upon the page, Ann quirked a brow. As much as the letter explained, it left her wondering what exactly the reason for bringing her here was. As much as this place needed help, she couldn't help but feel frustrated about the timing of it all. Her team needed her with them not here trying to play the hero role. The thieves were at the cusp of finally bringing an end to the horrible events that had been plaguing Japan for months and yet she now found herself apart from them. Whoever had brought her to this place surely hadn't thought things through. Giving a shake of her head, Ann knew she couldn't change what had happened. As much as she wished this hadn't happened to her, she couldn't afford to mope around nor complain about it. All she could do was try to figure out how she might be able to return home and maybe in the process, help this suffering world although she wasn't sure she could stay long enough to see such a thing through. To fix a dying world seemed like an impossible task to put in the hands of a teenager not to mention how time consuming such a thing would be. That was why she hoped to be back home before then. She certainly had no desire to grow old in this place. Besides, if she were to be stuck here then she would have many regrets tied back to where she hailed from.

Now was no time to think of such things though. Giving a small shake of her head, Ann folded the letter up and returned it to its place before finally turning to take in the rest of the room. It only took her a few seconds to notice the male sitting across the room on his own bed. His attention didn't seem to be on here, but it was strange nevertheless. It was never a comfortable feeling to think some older man was watching her. Such a thing reminded her of when Kamoshida was around. Even at the brief thought of him, a shiver went down her spine and she wrinkled her nose in disgust. He had been such a despicable man. Perhaps comparing a complete stranger to him was far too unfair, but it was hard for her mind to avoid making such an assumption to begin with after everything that had happened in the spring. Even so, she had to push past such thoughts and cling to the positive aspects of the situation. Again her mind went to the fact that he didn't appear to be watching nor did he seem to be watching the other bed that was present.

Taking a glance towards the third bed as it crossed her mind, Ann noticed that they still were asleep. It seemed for now that it was only her and the older male. Standing in silence, she was sure she looked like an idiot, but he needed a moment to study him. Much like her own attire, she was dressed rather oddly and in some ways resembled the outfits that her teammates wore although he lacked a mask. Once she was satisfied with her observation, Ann averted her gaze, but the silence still lingered. What was she to say? It was an awkward situation to find herself in, but she knew she couldn't stay quiet forever. It would only become worse. Sucking in a deep breath, the phantom thief racked her head for an approach to this situation. If only Ren were present. She was sure he would have already taken a hold of it all and broken the silence despite being a rather quiet person himself. Wishing for her friend's presence wouldn't do her any good though.

"So, I assume you're stuck in the same situation that I'm in," she finally said as she placed a hand upon her hip in attempt relax herself. "I don't understand it all, but I'm glad I'm not alone in this." It was the truth. It was a real relief to see that she wasn't the only one that was faced with this impossible sounding task although she wouldn't have wished something like this upon anyone. Pushing that thought off, Ann's eyes darted back to the third bed and she gave a small gesture of her hand. "I hope they wake up soon then we can figure out what we're going to do about all this."

' Little Hydrangea '

→ Yubi → 12 → Nonbinary → Psychic → Tag: Sett

‘No I didn’t probably just losing your mind.’ Yubi retorted looking at the man before him. Their mouth didn’t move nor open at all which throws so many people off. Even when meeting another human at the forest which was rare at times though before giving them a painful lesson they talk to them in their mind then dropping them off outside the forest so others can collect the human garbage trying to destroy the forest. The kid inspected the man before them much more closely then noticing the man has ears as well not wearing a shirt. Yubi gave the man a bored expression then turning away from him. Probably not a human from their world so there’s a chance others are from different worlds? Could be possible.

‘What do you mean by that. Just because I am a kid doesn’t mean I’m useless or weak.’ Yubi hated to be looked over by others who are older than them. Adults can be very stupid at times especially in their world. Don’t they see they are destroying a very important ecosystem that could doom the earth itself? Nature helps the world go round and it baffles the kid that no one else besides them see the beauty of it excluding the animals of course. The kid huffed in frustration just thinking about it, why are things so complicated and annoying. Going over to their bed then sitting on it with a plop. Yubi closed their eyes trying to concentrate if there is any plant life outside though it caused some troubles apparently it's very cold outside and a lot of snow. Well that’s no good but at least they have their leaf stalk with them.

Yubi placed the stalk right beside them then started to stretch their arms. ‘Also while you are awake, why don’t you read that note on your stand that is right beside your bed. Unfortunately I can’t read for my own sake.’ Yubi asked politely as they could. They never went to school to learn how to read or do other things but at the same time was glad. Who knows if they will be the same if they do attend to a school. At the same time they need their parents to sign them up for school. Yubi crossed their arms as if trying to help them think out a plan to go to school undetected but every plan is a miss for their part. Might as well just tell the birds to steal books from other children no harm in hurting children with a few pecks on the face and arms. But that could harm the birds as well. This is getting too complicated will have to plan it out later when they have nothing better to do.

'In case you call me a kid again, I do have a name. My name is Yubi.' Yubi said while just looking at the bandages on their hands. They are very tempted to call the man before them an old man so tempted yet they held themselves back being snarky to the stranger.

Will awoke quickly; even stifled, the faint sound of terror the other creature in the room uttered easily alerted a part of him and he awoke on edge. Within moments he was sitting up in bed, holding still in anticipation of having to gauge whether or not this pang of tension was warranted or simply the lingering product of a vivid nightmare. However, it soon became clear there was an even bigger problem to confront - this was neither his bed nor his home. Though it looked remote and cozy, like the kind of place he would live, it was entirely unfamiliar and therefore devoid of the kind of comfort its aesthetic lent itself to. The immediate assumption, upon seeing such surroundings, was that he'd been kidnapped. A mortifying notion, to be sure, but Will was already willing himself with all his mental fortitude to stay calm. He had squared off against more than his fair share of cunning and deviant minds, and knew what sort of reaction was expected of him. And, as well, he knew that giving that expected reaction would only weaken him, cloud his judgement and further empower the orchestrator of this game. And a game it most likely was, considering that he had been left free and unrestrained, at least to some degree. There was no guarantee he'd be able to easily escape this house or even this room, though; however, he did not have long to begin setting up a perception of this scenario before his eyes wandered over to the hulking mechanical presence which had thrown itself against the wall. The very sight of it struck him like lightning; Will had never seen anything like it, and to the human mind, what was unknown was always dangerous until it had proven itself otherwise. Considering this one was reaching for a long, sharp object, it had swung itself sharply towards the former rather than the latter. In a fit of panic, Will swung himself out of bed and sat on the floor opposite this being, hoping that it had, perhaps, not seen him. He heard his heartbeat pound in his ears; the sound took him back to his days as a cop before he'd withdrawn to the quieter life of a professor. He had always loathed this, the sheer ferality that came from fear and the way that that made him feel. Sitting there, breathing slowly and harshly, trying to gather what the next step was, he could not even begin to return to the previous images that had begun forming in his mind the moment he'd opened his eyes. It was as if his suspension of disbelief had been shattered, but this was reality - or, was it? It would not have been the first time he had been overcome by a maddeningly vivid nightmare or even a hallucination.

Though, he had hoped he'd fought off the plague which had spawned that disconnect from reality quite some time ago. To find he had been stricken with another debilitating ailment like that would have been surprising at the very least; it certainly wasn't the kind of thing Hannibal would've tried twice, even with his potential for audacity. Trying to gauge his current hold on reality, Will grabbed ahold of the bedpost and slowly pulled himself back to his feet, still trembling faintly. This felt real enough thus far, but was the apparition that had startled him so much still there? Very slowly, with halting, staggered breaths, Will turned to look in its direction. It was still present, still looking like nothing he had ever seen - vaguely humanoid in its structure, but significantly taller, armored from head to toe like some sort of war machine but painted in blue and gold, more colorful and opulent than a construct built for battle would have been where he was from. And, over by where it was standing, a lance-like weapon that tailored well to its proportions and structure. Not only that, but other objects, other belongings, including some of his own. He glimpsed some of his clothes, crudely folded, and his glasses lying near to where the metallic monstrosity's weapon had been resting. There was another set of personal belongings as well which were not his, implying the presence of another person here. But, if even some of his things were here, there was a chance - however slim - that his gun was stashed somewhere in there, hidden under his coat or something. It would likely be entirely ineffective against a creature which appeared to be, from his perspective, entirely inorganic, but that animal sense of fear was still more than present and thrashing for any way to fight or fly against this immense potential threat. Will slowly lifted his open hands, a gesture among his kind used to indicate a state of passivity and defenselessness, and hoped this sort of creature would receive it the same way humans generally did. The chances it understood speech, must less English, seemed far too slim to reach for as of yet. Will glanced back at the crude pile of his things, but tried to make this as subtle as possible, so as not to be interpreted as having the kinds of ulterior motives he realistically did. Somehow, that was where he had affixed his hope; if he could just get to his belongings, that milestone would make him feel so elatedly secure and accomplished, even if only for a few seconds before the terrifying reality of his circumstances returned to its full realization in his mind.

It was the strangest awakening she had ever experienced. For so long, there had been nothing but the trials - but now, there was this. It wasn't a trial, not in the least; though it was easily possible this was some new configuration she had never been placed into an arena in a bed, much less with her weapons tucked neatly off to the side as they were. Looking over at her axe and the leather belt of throwing hatchets which had become her sole companions, she saw next to them a battered old rabbit mask, carved of wood and painted white but marred by scratches and flecks of blood, to its back clinging a long and tattered black veil. The stocky woman all but lurched out of bed to grab it, feeling a deep disturbance at the thought her mask had been removed without her knowing. What was almost a sigh of relief passed her lips as the mask settled into place, covering all of her face but her lower jaw. There. Now she was whole again. And - what was this? Someone had included a little slip of paper among her things. The Huntress picked it up and scanned it, then frowned from within the shadow of her mask. It was not a map or anything useful, but a written letter which she could not read. She couldn't even tell what language it was, though it wasn't written in Cyrillic and had been penned in a strange, looping sort of font that made it even more indecipherable. Anna dropped the useless piece of paper to the ground and proceeded to ignore it completely, now sure that this was not the work of the inscrutable being she had known. Glancing over her shoulder, she immediately saw the suggestions of figures in the other beds in this room and proceeded to pick up her weapons with the utmost care to remain silent. Though, it did feel like quite a shame to spring upon sleeping prey, so Anna (thankfully) refrained from lunging at either immediately. Besides, if it turned out this was some sort of new trial, the Entity would be very displeased at the absence of any challenge. It wanted sacrifices, but not if they came without struggle. It liked its classic battles: good versus evil, light versus darkness, youth and hope fighting from within the grasp of despair. This was, thus far, none of those things. But, if the Entity wasn't in charge of this, then who was? Was it possible that it, despite the unknowable power it wielded from its cosmic perch, had been somehow destroyed or repulsed, thus returning its captive champions to where they'd originated. No, no...her memory was unclear, clouded by the dark mist and the years lost in its muddling of space and time, but she was nonetheless certain this was not her home.

But if it was not her home, and it was not a trial, then what was it? The Huntress, feeling a pang of frustration, crept silently around the perimeter of the room, trying to catch a better glimpse of the other people she had been placed in here with. They had belongings, as well, laid nicely over near where her own had been, but looking over them she was unable to determine much of anything. Clothes and objects she did not recognize, though some were shiny and alluring, reminding her of the trophies she had collected, the soldier's belts hung proudly on her sarafan. Almost out of nothing but muscle memory, the woman began humming, a slow, familiar tune soon filling the room in the absence of any other sound. It was a very low, gentle, rhythmic noise, only liable to wake the very lightest of sleepers and all-in-all much more likely to pacify her compatriots than rouse them. She would have liked to know where she was supposed to stand with them, though; left to her own devices she would have given them only the head-start of a roar before starting the hunt, but she had grown too accustomed to the trials despite herself and did not want to displease whoever was in charge of this game. Besides, it might prove more entertaining than a single, simple pursuit. Cautiously, she began picking over the others' belongings more thoroughly, her fascination growing. They reminded her of many of the youths the Entity had brought to its trials, with their strange manner of dress and all. It seemed they had also both received copies of the same note; maybe one of them could read it? It would have been a reasonably effective method of conveying information, but relied on all the pieces in this game being able not only to read, but to understand the same language as the master of the game. The Entity had never bothered with such things. Words were meaningless; it had no desire to acknowledge their use. What it understood was the fight, the same way all its captives understood it in the very animal core of their brain. In that way its game was simple, and understanding of it unavoidable. More complex things lost their meaning easily in the muddling of words and symbols. Was this new diversion to be so? The Huntress hoped not. Her black eyes glanced over the sleeping figures and she glimpsed their faces, pale and youthful, so like the prey she had chased for her last master. Her fingers tapped on her axe in time with her humming and she dared to quietly move again, bare feet making little noise on the floor as she searched for a window - an outlet to the world, a photograph of where she was.

sᴇᴛᴛ ● ᴍᴀʟᴇ ● ᴍɪᴅ ᴛᴡᴇɴᴛɪᴇs ● ʟᴇᴀɢᴜᴇ ᴏꜰ ʟᴇɢᴇɴᴅs ● ᴛᴀɢs; ʏᴜʙɪ
Sett blinked in confusion as the kid spoke again, for a lack of better word. He chuckled at the clear sarcasm. Well, at least it's not those kind of kids. The types that are too innocent for their own good. As wholesome as they come, it does frustrate Sett who is not only used to kids but also to keep his mouth shut. It's curious though for this kid's case. Magic, probably. Vastayans literally have them flowing in their veins but the child in front of his didn't look to be one. The blue flower that was growing out of their head made Sett a bit confused too. What really mattered to sett however is that this kid has guts to be speaking to him like this and to retort that just because they were a kid, they weren't useless or weak- how cute. The bandages only their arm, which Sett next noticed, were also a sign of injuries. Good. He knows how to fight. That pattern of bandage was all too familiar with Sett, even if it could be something else. He doesn't want to be carrying around a liability. It's rough merciless thinking for Sett to have but he had learned to fight adults twice his size when he was himself a child out of his own volition.

The little plant-friend went on their bed and plopped down into the fabric. Sett still hasn't said a word, his hand clutching the note but he had only read half of it when the kid went ahead and talk inside his head. He had only remembered the note when the other occupant of the room mentioned it. Then, they spoke again and introduced themself as Yubi, making Sett smirk again. Cool kid. Sett went ahead and read the note while he trudges around the room for his coat. It was then that he started to feel the lingering cold. He didn't hear any kind of fire in this house but he did hear snow outside, that could be it. He can handle the cold but upon reading the note further, Sett raised an eyebrow at the mention of the bracelet. Classy magic stuff. He squinted and took the accessory when he realized that it... wasn't a bracelet. It was a collar.
"The f-" Sett questioned the item under his breath, the curse was barely audible because of Yubi being around. What kind of cruel joke is this? He stared at it for a while longer. Ignoring it for now, he stared at Yubi. "Some assholes took some people out of their world. Implying there's more than us two. This place is called Niverei and there's like some kind of... it doesn't mention in here but some force killed the inhabitant or whatever." Immediately, 'no swearing around kids' rule was broken because Sett plainly just doesn't care. He just skimped over the details and said what he thinks is important. He was trying to wear his coat that he finally found under the covers.

"skimping over the letter with an angry undertone. These cowards are basically telling us to do their job for them 'cause we're special. Also, they gave us stuff so we won't freeze to death. damn f-" Sett went to curse again under his breath as he stared at the collar once more. Give the wolf-man a collar, hah. Funny. Sighing, he took the damn thing and wore it around his neck, feeling a shower of warmth over him afterward. Well, if it works, it works. He scratched his hair really fast, his anger from realizing the situation dies down. "Yubi, right? Name's Sett. Guess we're stuck together until we get out of this mess." Sett introduced himself and then went off to another room, finding the fireplace to be completely empty and frowning at the clueless thought of what he should even be doing next.

A slice of cold air pierced Peter's skin, sending a shiver up his spine. The brunette whined in protest before yanking his fluffy comforter farther up his body in an attempt to shield himself from the cold. But the temperature remained frigid. Perhaps he'd left the window open last night? But it wasn't that cold in New York, was it? With another audible groan, Peter slightly blinked open his eyes and peered towards the window. That was odd.. the window appeared vastly different from his own back in his apartment. And that's when the boy's spidey-senses began to kick in. Immediately, Peter bolted upright in his bed, his heart thundering rapidly against his ribcage. This wasn't his home at all! From what he could recall, he seemed to be in some sort of cozy cabin: the beds were pretty comfortable, and it seemed pretty cleanly. Where the hell was he? Suddenly, his eyes flickered to a hand-written note resting limply beside him. Cautiously, he reached an arm out and managed to grab onto the paper. As he began reading the neat handwriting, his eyes began to slowly widen with fear. Peter read the letter over multiple times, yet his eyes caught on the same phrase every time: We don't know exactly who you are, but you wouldn't be here if you weren't helpful. We are in dire need of your skills, whether it's your strength, magic, or brain power.. Was this some sort of test? Did Happy possibly set up some sort of game to test his abilities? The thought made Peter's skin crawl with anxiety. Nothing like this had ever happened to him before, so perhaps Happy wouldn't have randomly thrown this on him? But at the moment, that was the only logical reason he could come up with. Unless it wasn't a test at all, and perhaps these people did need his help. But that only meant one thing: whoever brought him here must've known he was Spider-Man. It still confused him a bit, for the note stated of no recollection of its captives' identities.

And that's when it hit him. He wasn't the only one here. As Peter frantically searched the room, he gasped sharply as he spotted three more beds in the room, each containing a body. He couldn't quite make out their faces, but his spidey-senses were flaring like crazy, alerting him of the unfamiliarity of the other beings. As he continued to scan the room, his breath hitching with fear, he noticed a small backpack sagged on the floor beside the bed. Cautiously, he leaned down and picked it up, careful not to disturb the others. As quietly as he could, he zipped open the bag and peered inside, a familiar red and blue pattern gazing back at him. His suit! Peter gasped in shock, then quickly whipped his head up to see if it'd awoken the others. Alas, he noticed a figure emerging from a bed on the opposite side of the room. Had this creature been awake the whole time? Peter watched, remaining completely motionless, as the creature began stalking through the room, humming a soft tune. Peter felt every muscle in his body stiffen. This being didn't seem very friendly. The way it prowled slowly and hummed that tune made the boy uneasy. Could it have possibly been sent here to help save the village as the note had requested? Or was it a dangerous being he had to watch out for? The letter said nothing of villains, so maybe it was just a normal being. But still, Peter remained cautious, his senses flaring. He peered down at his wrists for a moment, noticing that his wristbands remained in their place. His web-shooters. Peter sighed quietly in relief. If anything happened, all he had to do was clasp the wristbands together and the web-shooting buttons would appear on his palms. But he refrained from any super-hero tactics just yet. If his identity was revealed, especially to these strange people, he'd be in trouble. So he turned his gaze back to the creature prowling around the room, his heart still thundering in fear. It hadn't caused any harm yet, but as Peter's eyes finally adjusted to the surroundings, he spotted an axe cuffed in her hands. How hadn't he noticed that before? And had it even spotted him yet? No doubt it'd heard him making noise. But if it were to harm anyone, he'd be ready for it. He wanted to ask it questions: perhaps it was just as confused as he was, be he refrained, and instead gazed around at the other bodies. There were two more, both sleeping soundly. If that creature was a killer, it would've struck by now... so maybe it wasn't all that bad? But the boy remained cautious, wondering if the being had noticed him.

Toa Varu||Bionicle||Tagged||Will, Kiyotaka
One of the fleshy things stirred, and Varu's grip on her lance tightened, her eyes tracking its movements as she reached out with her powers. If it had a mind, she might be able to learn a bit more about it. It didn't have much in the way of mental defenses, not actively, but she could immediately tell that it—no, not it, he— was a complex, intelligent being. And he was afraid. Of her. Probably as afraid of her as she was of him. Which helped, a bit. There was still the matter of what he was, and where they were, and who brought them here, but at least this ugly little creature wasn't about to try and kill her. Varu only remained in his mind a few moments more, enough to extract his name, and the language he spoke. English, it was called, which was different from the name of his species. And the same language as what was on the sheet. She must have subconciously pulled it from his mind when she tried to read it. "D-do not be afraid, Will-i-am," she said, fighting to keep the trembling out of her own voice. Not easy, considering she was speaking a language she'd only just learned. "I- will you not— no, no, I will not harm you." The Toa leaned her lance back up against the wall, raising her hands as well. "See? N-no weapons." English sentence structure was a bit different from Matoran, it was hard to adjust on the fly. She could understand just fine, hopefully she'd get the hang of speaking soon.

' Little Hydrangea '

Postby Siki » Tue Dec 31, 2019 10:55 am

→ Yubi → 12 → Nonbinary → Psychic → Tag: Sett

Yubi put their backs on the bed staring at the ceiling hearing their roommate talk about the note just hearing what it has in the note just made them almost want to scream out in anger but at the same was okay with this in an odd way. Whoever the person who took Yubi out of their world deserves a thanks and be punched right in the face at the same time. They were a bit thankful since of the recent events of what happened in their world guess they do need a break from their own problems. They really didn’t more problems shoved right in their face one after the other.

Turning their head they see their partner clearly upset about the collar which they covered their mouth with their hands hiding their grin. ‘I guess I don’t mind doing the job here. Seems like the outside has a bit more plant life than my place so not much complaint here rather than being kidnapped from our homes.’ Yubi replied then added,’ Geez Sett you swear just like the animals do at my home but less though to be fair you have ears so you are like half of it.’ The kid shrugged. They turned and looked at the ceiling with a plain expression. Yubi wonders what the other people look like probably dumb adults they hope there are others the same age as them but that’s wishful thinking. They don’t really act like any other twelve year old or experience what they go through life at their home. Yubi sometimes envy kids and young ones who are innocent. ‘Urgh stop thinking about pointless things this is getting nowhere.’ Yubi thought to themselves blocking out Sett. Oh right they were with the old man in the same cottage.

They didn’t notice that the man went to another room so they went over there as well grabbing their stalk taking it with them. Looking in there they see Sett just frowning at something. Yubi looked at it with a confused look until they soon realized it what it was, they weren’t very familiar with modern stuff that involves the outside world. A fireplace is what its called though there is nothing in there and looked empty. It needs something to start a fire Yubi looked over at the destroyed stand then went over to it picking up some pieces with ease. Putting it in the fireplace now all it needs is a fire. Yubi held their stalk in front of them concentrating on their pyrokinesis the dew grew a little bit brighter making it have a fire hue then disappeared. The kids face darken a bit with anger going over to their bed picking it up and threw it across the room with a crash. ‘DAMN IT TO HELL. I HATE THE ODDS OF IT WORKING!’ Yubi yelled in frustration.

The psychic had to wait for a few minutes to use the ability once more during the time they cooled off a bit doing some breathing exercises the vine dragon taught them to use. Yubi remembers hearing her scolding them using their anger on things that they don’t deserve as well adding on saying their anger is unhealthy. They don’t mind dying mad at all. As they collect themselves they decided to do it one more time on the ability, a fireball formed out of thin air shooting straight into the fireplace. The fireplace crackled to life thanks to the fire and wood. If Yubi didn’t have the leaf stalk the chances of it landing there would’ve been so low to the point they might set the whole building on fire or probably best case scenario burning the ears off of Sett, in accident of course. They would totally not do it for their own intentions.

K1-B0 [1]

Postby Zaperrex » Tue Dec 31, 2019 3:34 pm

K1-B0 | DANGANRONPA V3 | ROBOT | TAGGED: OPEN
He's lying down wrapped in something soft. It's nice. It's comfortable. He curls up onto his side, cocooning himself in the thick blankets. So this is a bed? He does not sleep in a bed... he does not sleep at all. The metaphorical alarm bells start ringing in his head all at once, and he darts out of the bed, mind reeling. How did he—why was he—there was a class trial. Everything was a lie. Everything was... fiction. They had decided not to vote. And then...

[data corrupted]

And then..?

[data corrupted]

He can make no logical connection from his last memory to his current surroundings. Where is he? Where are his friends? He looks down to see his laser cannon attached to his arm. Hadn't they confiscated his weaponry? When did he get this back? He retracts it back into his arm and takes a look around.

This appears to be a cottage. Cozy, reminding him of a holiday movie he's watched, but completely unfamiliar to him. It's completely dark out; the light of the cottage allows him to make out a gentle snow. He can't help but find it beautiful. Marginally soothed, he turns away from the window to pick up the letter and bracelet he spots at the edge of his vision.

Once he finishes reading the letter, he crumples it in his hand and lets it fall to the ground, smothering the part of him that feels bad for littering. This story sounds far too fantastical to be true; there's an extremely high probability that Team Danganronpa is behind it. It's been quiet in his head, the complete opposite of the din of the final class trial, so he had hoped... Clearly, he shouldn't have. Nothing is ever so easy. That means he shouldn't trust the bracelet either, should he? But at the same time, he suspects that he's far too expensive to allow him to be damaged by the cold. So perhaps that part is true. He'll hold onto it for now, but he won't put it on. However, that means it's currently inadvisable for him to venture outside. Quietly, he approaches the other beds. Are there any allies to be found here? Enemies? He pities any hypothetical unsuspecting participants who have found themselves stuck in... whatever this is. Another show is his best assumption.

Sett [3]

Postby Reiji » Wed Jan 01, 2020 4:30 am

sᴇᴛᴛ ● ᴍᴀʟᴇ ● ᴍɪᴅ ᴛᴡᴇɴᴛɪᴇs ● ʟᴇᴀɢᴜᴇ ᴏꜰ ʟᴇɢᴇɴᴅs ● ᴛᴀɢs; ʏᴜʙɪ
Sett scratched his head again, particularly behind his animalistic ears. It's weird how when he scratches that spot while it feels nice, it never feels as good as when someone else does it. it's a trait he didn't like because it makes him seem like a pet- people do that often with vastayans. Sett felt the discrimination of both sides so sometimes, he can be a bit empathetic. Yubi's comment made his ears twitch as he squinted at the kid. Half part of it, yeah, they always say that. "Tch. People pay to watch me break skulls, this is just making me do my work without getting paid." Sett complained. He's not fond of doing charity work but if he gets some good fights out of this, maybe he'll let it pass. Sett patiently and curiously watched as Yubi carried the broken wood of the stand from the other room into the fireplace and from the looks of it, tried and failed to start a fire. He watched as Yubi exploded in a rage and went back to throw their bed across the room. Sett laughed heartily. This kid's really some fun stuff. "You really showed that bed who's boss, huh?" Sett commented with a smile. The cabin's walls didn't break but if the kid had another outburst, Sett wouldn't count on it being intact by the time the fellow's anger died down.

Squatting near the fireplace as it crackled, Sett felt the warmth radiating from the crackling flames. Hearing the sound, he grew hungry. Did these freelance kidnappers plan that sort of thing out? Sett stood up and looked over to Yubi.
"By the way, good job, bud." He said before walking off to check out more of the place. It had regular stuff all around but nothing that really caught his interest. Also, there's no real kitchen or anything edible. Frustrated by that, Sett went back to the main living space. "Let's go find something I can either eat or beat up before I eat a whole kid." Sett said out loud. The last part wasn't an option he seriously considered. He kicked the door open and walked out into the snow, the sun above shining the day.
