maximillan foster is an twenty-year-old with a rather secretive and reclusive
disposition. not much information regarding his personal life is available and
his family remains unknown even to himself. he dislikes going outside but when
he does, he makes a point to don a bandana to cover the bizarre sight of the
lower half of his face. even just around other mutants, he likes to keep that
hidden, either wearing the bandana or wearing thick scarves which obstruct
the view of his face. due to his lack of a mouth and therefore inability to speak,
maximillan uses sign language to communicate although most of the time he
tends to make wild gestures to try and get his point across as, despite having
learnt sign language for a majority of his life, his knowledge seems to still
be lacking. due to this, he also tends to write or use text-to-speech when
he is able to.

this twenty-year-old stands at six feet and five inches which would be
an intimidating figure if it wasn't for his lack of muscle and generally
lanky and frail appearance. he has messy, unkempt black hair and dark
blue eyes, as well as extremely pale skin which burns easily when exposed
to sunlight. maximillan is usually found in dark clothing consiting of baggy
trousers, grey button-up shirts, black jumpers, a long black trenchcoat and
silver and black striped scarves. the bandana he wears when outside is also
a dark grey.

maximillan is somewhat of a difficult person to get along with, he can be
aggressive and uncooperative if he feels offended or threatened, he also has
a habit of trying to push people away and trying to avoid getting close to
others; his reasoning for this remains undisclosed regardless of the amount
of prying that is done. he becomes anxious and overwhelmed easily which
is another reason for his distaste towards going outside, he dislikes public
transport and even moreso travelling alone. despite his adversity to making
friends, he does appreciate the well-meaning actions of others and will, on
occasion, try to reciprocate such favours. he can come off as morally grey
at times and will do questionable things if he sees it at necessary, as well as
being rather petty at times and not against holding grudges.

this mutant possesses the power of electrokinesis, otherwise known as the
manipulation of electricity. these powers give him the ability to create, shape
and manipulate electricity, as long as there is electricity readily available for
him to use. as a result of this, though, its needless to say that max doesn’t
work well with being around electronics due to some lack of a harness on his
powers and, in order to keep it in check he wears an undersuit made out of
a range of rubber material and other non-conductors when he is outside of
battle. however, this is not enough to completely nullify his abilities due to
the suit being thin; rather it helps avoid extreme electrical surges escaping
him that could potentially harm other people. furthermore, he runs the risk
of being short-circuited with too much work using his abilities.

[After Maximillian is accepted, I’m going to make the first post. I’m assuming it takes place in New York, like most of the other X-Men comics? I’m also assuming that there’s the school for mutants as well? Any other information I should know before I start?]

[I’m not sure how I should start. Should there be something happening, like a big robbery for everyone to stop? Or should we start out casually? Also, is everyone in the team? I just want to make sure I get everything right before I start. Also some suggestions for locations to start at would be appreciated.]
