      Ren Amamiya!!
xxxxmale seventeen years old persona 5 tagged: hana
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

It only took one quick glance in Hana's direction to see how her body had tensed up and she had raised her arm in preparation to hit him. There was no surprise that was how she reacted. Quickly allowing his gaze to flicker away, he braced himself for the oncoming attack, his own body becoming tense. There was no telling exactly how hard she was going to hit him. He supposed it depended on how upset she was over the comment he had made her. Honestly, he wasn't sure he wanted to find out, but he had no choice. Closing his eyes for a moment, he tilted his head downward in attempt to hide his entire face from her in hopes that it wouldn't be the place of target for her attack. He was sure smacking his mask wouldn't feel great for either of them and who knew if such a thing would trigger Arsene to reveal himself. He doubted it would come to such, but sometimes Arsene had a mind of his own and would come out in order to defend him in times of need. If that were to happen, he'd definitely have a lot of explaining to do. There was no hiding the persona. After a moment passed and nothing happened, Ren allowed his eyes to open once again. Had she had a change of heart? It was hard to tell given the position he was currently in though he still didn't dare look up. Maybe that was what she was waiting for, a moment when he would let his guard down. Those were always the most opportune times to strike. That was something he knew all too well from his time as a phantom thief. Striking shadows when they were most vulnerable was the best way to surprise them and easily reveal the forms they wished to seal away. He assumed that attacking him was no different. Despite being turned away from her, he was still in a defensive position to protect himself. It wasn't an optimal time to get at him. It was a position he should continue to hold, but something told him that it was alright to let his body ease up. However, he steeled himself until he heard Hana finally speak.

Lifting his head, Ren looked towards her though he instantly noticed that she was no longer looking at him nor did she have a hand raised. It seemed she had had a change of heart. That was lucky for him. However, it seemed his words had embarrassed her as much as they had embarrassed him to say. That was no surprise. Saying such a thing to a stranger wasn't necessarily something that was comfortable unless it was coming from a flirt. He wasn't necessarily someone who didn't flirt, but it was definitely in no situation like this. He knew how to time himself with such and even then he was careful about whom he chose to flirt with knowing that all people reacted differently to such things. It was clear that Hana didn't seem to be one that would react well to such things or at least that was the feeling he took away from all this. Not that it mattered. There was no reason to resort to such things with her. Pushing the thought aside, Joker focused on the words which she spoke. It was good that she knew what he had been hinting at though her previous reaction already had made that clear. At her question that followed, the teen offered a small shrug of his shoulders. There was no certainty to the situation they found themselves in. The only way they would know the answer was if they were told otherwise or they could come up with another solution. Even so, they wouldn't be able to know what was truth and what was not. As he was about to open his mouth to answer her question, he heard her continue on and immediately stopped himself. Her next statement caused his brow to quirk and a soft chuckle to escape his lips. It was an amusing way of looking at things. He would have never thought the way one dressed would determine whether or not they shared interests with another. Sure some styles would prove things, but to claim that they would have nothing in common because it? That was an absurd thought to him.

Letting her continue on, Ren's amusement only grew. He knew his attire wasn't the most comforting nor did it send the best vibes, but it was hilarious to listen to her explain it. At her words, a smile grew on his lips and he gave a small shake of his head. He wasn't sure where the pilot thing had come from, but given that she had brought it up he felt he could assume that was what she was. She was at least right about that part. He was no pilot nor anything closely related to it, but that did not mean that still had nothing in common with one another. "It's hard to say how much we might have in common, but to judge by ones clothing, now that is amusing," he remarked. "But you are right. I am no pilot. I would make the claim I am nothing more than a mere high school student, but I'm sure you wouldn't buy that." Giving yet another shake of his head, Joker reached to his face and pulled the mask from his face. "Your claims that I do not appear safe are somewhat accurate albeit for some I am a hero while to my targets I am nothing more than a criminal," he mused. As much as he did not wish to continue on, there was no backing out of it now. He was positive as of now that they did not even hail from the same place thus revealing himself to her would do him no harm. Besides, even if she was, she had no proof to show anyone else. "I am a phantom thief, but not necessarily the kind of thief you might be thinking of. It's hard to explain, but I only target the corrupt and get them to confess to the crimes they have committed." Placing his mask on top of his head, Ren fully turned to face Hana, the smile now gone from his face only to be replaced by a more serious expression. The only ones he had ever had to reveal himself to were his teammates and even then he didn't need to explain himself. Usually Morgana handled that. Unfortunately, the cat was no here to handle such matters. He'd probably be scolding him for giving away such information so easily in the first place.

"If you wish to consider me a criminal, then so be it," Joker finally continued on as he rested a hand against his hip. "I was branded one for a crime I didn't even commit but I was given a chance to make a difference nevertheless and to make Japan a better place. So don't worry about me harming you. Besides, my team does not harm those we target, but rather a cognition they have of themselves." By now, he was sure he had spoken enough about himself. Actually, this was probably the most he had spoken of himself in quite some time and to a stranger of all things. For someone who was notoriously known for being quiet, he sure could talk too much when he felt he needed to. Another thing he was sure of was that he had driven home the point of having nothing in common or at least on the surface they didn't. Still he had seen the way she had been looking at him before. Even if they had nothing in common, she seemed curious about him and it would be a lie if he said he didn't feel the same about her. Taking a step closer to her, the thief cocked his head as a faint smirk finally crossed his lips once again. "Whatever reason this place has for bringing together a pilot and phantom thief, we won't know unless we have a look around. Maybe while we do we can find common ground between us."

Aster Vanissen

The red haired boy popped his head through a portal. He knew he shouldnt do this since the whole Mikasi debacle but he couldnt stop himself. He walked through the portal into a valley with a pond in the center. He walked over to it and noticed tons of plants but not many animals. He noticed the plants didnt have fruit or food on them so he decided to force them to grow, maybe this would bring animals here. The trees began to flourish in fruit and the bushes growing many berries as he whispered words of request to them. He noticed a deer walk through the portal he left behind him and he moved out of the way so he could eat. He couldnt think of any ways to find out if anyone else was here so he decided to try something weird. He began to cast a magic circle and research in his book, he went into the middle and shouted. The circle projected his voice very loud and he yelled "Is anyone here???? If you are here on this planet say *Tell me the way with which witches lie* and you shall find me!" He then broke the circle and went to sit down.

OOC: when someone says the phrase they see an arrow leading to the valley Aster is in))

»The morning was crisp and a bit too cold for the young psychic teenager themselves. Everytime they go outside and get hit by the cold winter air at first step out of the apartment when opening the door makes them feel regretful of going outside leaving the oh so warm environment in the home. Letting out a sigh, Zuchi put their cold hands in the pockets of their pants to keep themselves warm. Why couldn’t they have a psychic ability to keep themselves in a comfortable temperature? Oh they’d give anything for that well almost anything. Closing the apartments door behind them they started walking over to their school by themselves alone as usual. Most times their roommate goes to school though rarely when needed if teachers need to talk to them but other than that they are usually alone walking to school then walking back home alone as well.

While getting close to their destination their eyes lit up receiving a precognition. Zuchi see themselves tripping over some kind of object, though it looked liked it was a rock out of place but they couldn’t tell what it was, as they were about to hit the ground a mysterious hole opens up beneath them engulfing them somewhere unknown and other worldly but yet still looks like Earth? They couldn’t tell where they were before tripping over the object maybe it was outside? As the vision ended they felt very hot and unwell. Well that’s great though the vision is yet confusing. Is it foretelling a danger in that other world? Remembering a bit of it they really don’t see anything dangerous or life threatening as it is, well yet. Maybe that vision was just a false alarm and just them being cold and grumpy about the weather. The ability is unpredictable anyways for them. As they stand in front of the school’s gate they look around to see if anyone was around. No one. Good. Zuchi walked slowly to the cafeteria placing a hand to their head trying to comfort themselves from the high fever but it's pretty hard when you feel like your body isn’t responding too well with the symptoms. They were sweating too much for their own good. They needed to go somewhere secluded and unknown to others just so they can recover.

While they try to walk fast, though Zuchi looked like a sweaty, shaking, sickly and awkward teen while doing it, it was a bit too hard for them as their legs felt weak at random moments notice to the point they almost fell on the hard tiled floors of the school but had to catch themselves by supporting themselves with the walls of the hallway they are in. Zuchi felt relieved seeing the theatre room closed and unoccupied when getting close to it, well just by the looks of it yet there hasn’t been any students or staff members going to that particular room for anything of the sort it's probably been abandoned by the whole school and forgotten. Who can blame them? Drama acts can be a bit boring or yet poor in the school as well drama became a forgotten extra curriculum. Nobody could be bothered.

Looking around once more to see if anyone was around they teleported inside the room quickly. As they teleported they had to catch their breath which was their loud heavy breathing and gasping echoing throughout the whole empty room. They plopped themselves down on the floor putting both of their, somewhat shaky and sweaty, hands in front of their face feeling the unnatural warmth from their face. Zuchi grumbled some words under their breath unhappy that this happened to them today. They slowly put their back on the carpet facing the ceiling, well they can’t really see it since it is so dark for them to see anything but their hands in front. Closing their eyes, Zuchi told quietly to themselves it’d be a short nap to recover. The nap will make the suffering go away. Probably.

A bell rang out throughout the school causing Zuchi jolt up fully awake and got to their defensive stance. The teen blinked a couple of times then realized they were in the theatre room still. A few seconds passed then something hit them, the bell rang which means- Zuchi quickly got themselves together and teleported out of the room in a hurry running to their first class period of the day. They didn’t think they’d be late this once because of the high fever but yet here they are rushing through the hallways with their footsteps echoing loudly throughout the halls the finally pushing one of the doors leading outside to the patio of the school. Zuchi eyes widened in realization that this looked almost like their vision. Their mind being all jumbled up focusing in getting to class on time and as well remembering the vision the thought of paying attention what's under them, they tripped over an object looking at it closely it was a backpack left behind for some odd reason no around but them. It was too late for them to avoid the obstacle since their fate was already sealed they felt themselves falling then finally seeing the unknown hole appearing below them. Zuchi braced themselves and fell a few feet from the sky then landing into a pile of leaves luckily softening their landing.

Well that was just great. Zuchi popped their head out of the pile of leaves and looked up to see the portal disappear never to be seen again. Well that’s just great this what they totally need to start their day off. They shook their head getting the leaves off the top of their head then let out an audible grumpy sigh. Now how are they gonna get back home? Slowly getting themselves out of the huge leaf pile they looked around observing their surroundings. Looks like they are in some kind of forest. Where are they? This is quite similar to their home world but different and lacking of different variety of wildlife. Well they should look for somebody or something though on that second that they might as well enjoy the place. The weather is somewhat nice for them to enjoy not too cold and not too hot just right they might as well just see new things and observe what they are.

Pechebelle / Female / Hominid / Form / Tags: Reza, Deadman

Pechebelle sighed with relief upon being understood by the Dead-man.
She muttered Reza’s words for the living, moving things in her world, focusing to sort the meanings.

“Spiders....bees...wasps...insects....”

When Reza rattled off different classes of what Pechebelle could be, a myriad of different, incomprehensible creatures were attached to the words. They were living, like the “insects” in her own world, but bigger and weirder. Her head spun. And none of them seemed to fit her at all.

What am I?

When the questions stopped and the suggestion was made of exploring this world, Pechebelle sighed heavily, putting words to rest. Remembering them and using them was HARD, and her throat hurt.

“Yeh.” She agreed with the idea to explore.

Even so, she found she wasn’t that interested in seeing this world. Everything looked mostly similar to the lonely home she’d come from, and she’d already walked all over it and back. She’d seen every comprehensible biome. It was familiar. It was empty. Walking across it alone again would make her eyes flow wet.

No—the new selves, the “people”, were truly the thing to explore. Oh sure, she’d follow them wherever they liked, and share in their curiosity. But all the while, they and the other conscious beings would ever be the REAL final frontier.

She started by casually, unthinkingly reaching, as she would for an odd fruit or a flower—but for the Dead-man’s face circles.

Yeah!” Cato confirmed excitedly when Brigitte repeated what he had said after he mentioned being on a ship, taking some pride in the vessel that he and his group had acquired. “It’s called the Crimson Light.” He explained, emphasising the name for some dramatic effect, “It’s a really good ship too! A VX-9 Light Runner with a lightfold engine and a dimensional drop drive. Not to mention the AI is pretty cool too, she’s called A.V.A” He continued to explain, his expression considerably as bright as it had been since encountering the armoured woman, “You know, I didn’t think it could get any cooler, but now it has portals too!” Bouncing and balling his fists with childish excitement and cheer, the Ventrexian grinned as he got the chance to speak about the ship and its crew, although hadn’t revealed the name of any of them aside for the artificial intelligence, although he doubted her name would be recognisable. While it was clear that Brigitte was from a different planet, it was plausible to assume she could have been from an entirely different plane of existence as well. It wasn’t like that was something unheard of.

Little Cato fell silent so that he could listen to Brigitte recounting her method of reaching the unfamiliar place both of them found themselves, tilting his head curiously as she commented on the similarity - and near identicality - of their methods. The one difference, though, was the fact that the woman was being rather vague about where she was when she found the portal, unlike the fourteen-year-old who was happy to flaunt the ship he travelled on. He would have perked up to remark on how he could be trusted to be told things, but realised that would probably seem suspicious if he pushed for information about a complete stranger. Besides, he didn’t get the chance to voice his trustworthiness as Brigitte raised an interesting point about their situation, implying some ulterior motive of the place as she questioned the reason why they were taken there. “Huh...yeah, it is pretty weird.” He agreed thoughtfully, raising a hand to rub his chin as his gaze lowered to the ground. “I mean, I went to a place once where they would inject people with this weird stuff which made them go to their happy place.” He suggested with a shrug, “Turns out that guy wanted to kill one of our guys, though. We blew that place up, so it probably isn’t there.”Little Cato decided finally, waving a hand dismissively with a smile.

x - Brigitte Lindholm - Tags: Little Cato

Brigitte was taken aback somewhat as Cato just casually described the strange and sinister place he had visited before... which apparently ended up ultimately being blown up. She wasn't going to ask to hear the long version of this story; it was probably best to simply leave it at that instead of getting sidetracked, anyway. "Oh. Well... that's good," she remarked nonchalantly with an awkward laugh and smile, but also a hint of genuine positivity in her voice. "Still, now I can't help wondering if this place has some kind of dark secret, too," she commented, her smile giving way to a serious frown. Suspiciously, she glanced around at the serene hollow. Sure, it looked peaceful, but she wasn't going to accept it on face value. Not yet, anyway. "Come on, I think we should start checking things out," she suggested, gesturing with her hand for Cato to join in as she turned to go and start investigating their surroundings.

Admittedly, Brigitte wasn't quite sure what she was expecting to find. Still, she was quite thorough in her search. She made a point of looking inside of any hollow logs and peeking into holes in trees. She even occasionally crouched down and pushed aside the dense fronds of the ferns growing here and there to see if anything could be found hiding beneath. As this work was somewhat dull, however, she felt the need to ease the silence with a little conversation. "So... That ship of yours sounds really impressive," she remarked to Cato, glancing over her shoulder at him with a bright smile. She recalled what she had been told earlier about the ship. She was no expert on air-or-spacecraft, but the names flying around weren't any that she was familiar with, and she could only imagine what the various specs meant. With terms like 'lightfold engine' and 'dimensional drop drive' being used, it definitely sounded like a potential description of a spaceship--a starship, even. Cato had been so thoroughly and genuinely enthusiastic when talking about the ship, too, and it was contagious; it was hard not to smile when he had been explaining. "Part of me is almost tempted to ask if I could see it for myself," she admitted with a little chuckle.

Lucas (form) | Tags: Aster

In a calm, grassy clearing, Lucas' hand gradually appeared through a portal before he pulled it back a second later. After this, nothing else happened for a good while. Eventually, however, he reappeared, this time fully emerging into the empty field sporting a wary expression and gripping a long stick. Back in his own world, he had simply been going for a quiet stroll through Sunshine Forest when he encountered a mysterious portal just like the one here. It looked noticeably out-of-place amongst everything else in the forest, and he was certain it wasn't present last time he'd been there... So what exactly was it, he wondered? Though his world was thankfully at peace once more, he couldn't help worrying over one possibility: that it might, in fact, be the first sign of some new threat. Driven to investigate it further, he first took the time to rush home, prepare, and tell his father what he was up to, then he headed back into the forest.

In the present, Lucas--having just stepped out of the other portal--was now standing in place with an astonished expression. While he stayed alert, the sight of the vast, natural surrounding landscape melted away at least some of his worry. This place actually looked extremely tranquil... And as he continued to observe it, he realized that there didn't seem to be any activity at all. Not even the tiniest bug could be seen or heard buzzing by. The only thing his ears could detect was the sound of the plants being rustled by a very faint breeze. Even so, he didn't let his guard down just yet; after all, even if the place appeared safe so far, this whole situation was still very odd. Taking a long, deep breath of fresh air, he began to wander forward.

Lucas didn't venture very far from the portal at first; he began just by examining his immediate surroundings. While nothing jumped out at him so far as any sort of clue, he couldn't help taking a moment just to admire the lovely plants scattered about.

That is, until a prominent sound somewhere in the distance finally caught his attention. With a gasp, he lifted his head. There's someone else here...! He listened intently as the voice continued to speak, giving apparent instructions on how to find its owner. Lucas stayed silent for a moment, hesitantly glancing back at the portal, then looked off into the distance once again. "... Hmm..." Upon giving it a moment of thought, he decided to go for it and answer the call; the voice didn't come off as hostile to him, and it sounded like this individual might even be in a similar situation to himself. Of course, though, he would still remain cautious along the way, just in case. "Tell me the way with which witches lie!" he called out clearly, his eyes growing wide when an arrow suddenly became visible to him. Whoa! Well... That must be the place, then? Making an internal note of his surroundings so he could easily find the portal again (he hoped), he set off in the direction of the arrow.

As he made his way into the valley that the arrow was pointing to, Lucas called out in a cautious voice: "Hello?"

Aster was sitting down waiting for someone to answer his call when he heard a cautious "Hello?", So there was other people here! Aster said "Its safe, dont worry, you can come out." He began to walk along the grass, he noticed some rabbits in the grass and walked towards the voice. "I mean no harm." He began to sit down. "I am sitting down unarmed." And he sat down, waiting for a response.

Lucas continued to walk deeper into the valley until he heard a voice--the same voice from earlier--and froze. The voice! Standing quietly in place, he waited to hear more so he could get a better sense of where it was coming from. Once he was more certain, he resumed walking, a look of surprise appearing on his face when a butterfly suddenly floated past his head.

After just a few more moments of moving forward, Lucas spotted someone--a red-haired boy who appeared to be around his age--sitting just ahead, who he assumed must be the owner of the voice he had been hearing. Gasping softly, he lowered his stick towards the ground so that he wouldn't appear threatening, then gave a small wave with his free hand. "... Hi there," he greeted the other boy in a somewhat shy but still friendly tone, giving him a chance to respond before adding anything further.

As the boy walked around the corner Aster looked at him, He looked a bit younger than Aster, with blonde hair. Aster stood up and said to him "Hi! My name is Aster, I am a witch. Can I hear some things about you?" Aster was trying to calm down and be nice to the boy. He knows how much anyone who comes here would be in shock, and he wants to help calm them down. "Oh and by the way" Aster pointed at the blonde haired boy "With this click, I undo my trick!" Aster clicked his tongue and the arrow Lucas saw disappeared. Aster lowered his hand and waited for the boys response.
