Staring at the screen, she's stuck between two choices. She's pretty sure it was Kotoko, but the way Jataro was talking... it creeps her out. Does she even have to vote? The others will get it anyways, she thinks. A few seconds before the timer is up, she taps on Kotoko's portrait.

Himiko votes for Kotoko.

Hajime Hinata
That's it? he thinks, watching the timer go down. The blackened is Kotoko with how deflective she was acting, but even though he's so sure, he can't help but feel a bit guilty as he selects Kotoko's portrait.

Hajime votes for Kotoko.

"Ko-to-ko!!!! Times up!" Monokuma said to the terrifed girl." The majority vote goes to you!" He grabbed a hammer and swung in front of him. An led screen came down with a visual of Kotoko getting dragged away by Monokuma. It read "Its punishment time!" Kotoko was grabbed by a collar to her neck and pulled away.

Kotoko Expired

One of her fangs rolled towards everyone as the glass wall was taken down. "I hope that was a gentle death! Puhuhuhu!" Monokuma said. Gundham picked up the tooth and everyone was shoved back into the elevator.

Jataro Kemuri

"I know she was a murderer... But she didnt deserve that!" Jataro yelled.

Gundham Tanaka

Gundham began to cry a bit, that poor girl.

The brown haired girl hummed quietly to herself, trying to stay calm...She watched the dreaded bear bring down a screen, then he dragged away the girl with a collar on her neck. Well, the collar was from the bear, that’s how he dragged her away. She yelped as the fang rolled over...She whimpered and began to cry again, clinging to her brother in the elevator.

Kiibo is speechless. How could someone do that? To a child, no less. He doesn’t understand. He doesn’t understand any of it. What did he do to end up here?

SHUICHI SAIHARA:
That was sick. His nails dig into his palms as he stares down at his feet, trying to process what exactly he just witnessed.

His mouth feels too dry for him to speak, and even if it hadn’t, Jataro has voiced all that really could be said.

[kazuichi soda]

ᴋᴀᴢᴜɪᴄʜɪ ꜱᴏᴅᴀ

Horrified and barely able to process what he'd just witnessed, Kazuichi remains silent, eyes wide with shock. His sense of reality seems to return slightly when he feels Kiyo's arm around his shoulders, but he's still too shocked for words.

ᴋᴏʀᴇᴋɪʏᴏ ꜱʜɪɴɢᴜᴊɪ

Korekiyo remains silent during the elevator ride, one arm wrapped firmly around Kazuichi's shoulders. Kiyo himself wasn't particularly unnerved by the execution, but he can tell that it had affected Kazuichi. At least the pink-haired boy isn't crying again... yet. Once the reality of the situation sinks in, he surely will.

Himiko Yumeno
It was a quick ending to the trial: one she had been hoping for, yet... she hadn't expected that. With a shaky sigh, Himiko elects to slide down the wall of the elevator and sit down, staring at the floor as they made their way back to the campus.

For a second, she remembers the picture in her jacket pocket. The Archmage, her master... would he be alright? He had been missing for years before this, so obviously he was never captured in the first place; he never would be, no one is powerful enough to do that... but if he was in danger, would Himiko have done the same thing Kotoko did? And be met with that terrible fate, just as Kotoko had?

It isn't something she wants to think about. Kotoko must have been extremely desperate to do that-- she had a low magic level, so there's no way Himiko would ever do something like that, for sure. But, it makes her all the more cautious of the people she's with in the elevator now. It makes her more cautious of everything in general. She just wants to go home, or hide in her dorm room forever.

Hajime Hinata
The ride back up is tense. Of course, why shouldn't it be? They had just solved the mystery behind the death of a classmate, and the culprit was punished for it. It would seem fair in writing, but did Kotoko really deserve that? She must have been affected by the motive and scared. She was a child... how could that bear make such cruel rules? He wants to stop thinking about it, but he knows there's no way he'll ever forget.

It's terrible, absolutely terrible. He hopes it's a quick end to the mysteries, and not the beginning of a long string of more.

The elevator halted to a stop and its doors opened.

Gundham Tanaka

Gundham ran out of the elevator. He was going to go to his dorm and check on his hamsters. On the way however he saw a giant clam in the gym he passed. He ran into investigate and it was shaking. Muffled sounds could also be heard from inside it "SOMEONES HERE!! NEW PERSON!!" Gundham yelled before prying open the clam with all his strength. He saw a princess tied up with a sack over her head. He unbound her and introduced himself "I am Gundham Tanaka. I would like to inform you that you are sadly in the same situation as us." Gundham looked down "The others might come greet you soon. You should check the watch on your wrist in the meantime." He said.

Jataro Kemuri

Jataro left the elevator slowly and headed for the library. Maybe he could research how to escape this awful place. He got in and saw a piano in the middle that wasnt there before. On top was a glass case with a girl inside, presumably a pianist. There were knives on robotic arms pointed at her. Jataro looked down towards the piano keys. There was a symphony he needed to play. He attempted to get the girl out but couldnt using his powers or anything else. He tried to play the symphony but instantly failed. Everytime he messed up the knives went closer "WE NEED SOMEONE WHO CAN PLAY PIANO HERE!!!" He yelled loudly.

In a locker in the gym lockerroom sat the final new student. A blue haired boy locked inside a locker.

Some people bolt the moment the elevator opens. Kiibo can't blame them.

He doesn't really know what to do now. He checks his watch—it's around dinner time. But he doesn't need to eat, so maybe he will just head back to his room. Finish that book he was reading or something. He just... doesn't want to think about this for a while. This meaningless game. "Um, Shuichi, can I have my photo back?" He's still not going to look at it, but... their families are safe now, right? He hopes that all of this was worth... something.

"Hm? Oh, sure," Shuichi says, slipping his hand into his pocket and returning the photo. He doesn't even look at Kiibo. His mind is clearly far away.

"Thank you. I'll... see you all later," he tells everyone, and walks in the direction of the dorms.

He stops at the sound of Gundham's booming voice. A new person. Like Kiyo and Kazuichi, he supposes. This time, Kiibo feels only dread. A new killing game participant. A new variable he will have to account for. Does that mean that when people are killed, they'll simply be replaced? An endless cycle of killing. With reluctance, he makes his way to the gym door. There's a giant clam on the ground, for some reason. Ropes and a sack. And a girl sitting inside of the clam. It's odd enough to shake some of the heaviness that has settled over Kiibo's mind and body. "Are you all right?"

SHUICHI SAIHARA:
He needs to do something. What if he goes back to his lab? His experience there was strange and terrifying, but perhaps there's more to be found there. Although... there are still other places he hasn't explored at all. What seems to be a library, for one, according to the map. As if on queue, he hears something coming in that direction. Faint music—except it might not deserve to be called that. Discordant notes that possibly resemble some sort of melody would be more accurate. It sounds like a piano?

As he opens the door, Jataro calls out for a pianist. Shuichi's face twists in confusion. He certainly doesn't fit that description, but he enters the library and sees a grand piano with a glass case placed on top of it. And inside that case was a girl, curled up, unmoving. It doesn't take much to piece together what the boy was trying to do.

"Jataro, is there anyway you could use your power to break those knives?"

Himiko Yumeno
When the doors open, Himiko watches as some leave straight away. She can't bring herself to move, but the topic of teleportation comes to mind: does it still work? It didn't work in the trial room, so she's a little worried Monokuma might still be blocking their powers. Luckily, the teleportation does works, and she sighs with relief as her surroundings change from the elevator to a hallway. Too tired to even teleport to her dorm, she decides to take a nap right then and there. It's not too close to 10pm... probably, she thinks, but who cares. Unfortunately, her rest is interrupted by Jataro's shout. What a creepy kid. Why does he need someone who can play piano? The shouts and ear-piercing music are preventing her from sleeping, so she teleports to the source.

Shuichi's here, too, she notices-- can he play piano? Do detectives need to learn how to play piano? Well, if he isn't going towards the piano in the middle, maybe not. It's upon noticing the out-of-place instrument that Himiko sees the glass case holding a girl on top. No fair... she got to skip the trial, huh?

"I can play a little bit of piano," she says. "I learned some songs for my magic shows, but you should try what Shuichi's asking first... I'm kind of tired." Himiko glances at the sheet music, eyes widening at the complexity of the symphony. "Nyeh... that song is impossible! Only a level twenty bard could play it. No way any of us could."

Hajime Hinata
As everyone starts to go their separate ways, Hajime isn't sure what to do. It's too early to go to sleep-- even if it wasn't, he doubts he would be able to-- but it feels wrong to just go about like nothing happened. He doesn't want to stay in the elevator either, so he leaves. He first heads towards the labs, but stops. He's... definitely not in the mood for exploring right now. Maybe he should just head back to his dorm. However, Gundham's shout has him moving to the gym.

New person? So... people are still being brought in? Does Monokuma intend for this killing game to go on forever? Pity for this person strikes him as well as worry for everyone. But, even if that's Monokuma's intentions... they'll find a way to stop it. Yes, definitely, is what he tells himself, though the phrase feels empty.

Entering, Hajime spots Gundham and Kiibo near... is that a giant clam? That wasn't in here when... well. Who had put it in here during the trial? It must've been Monokuma. He walks closer, finally seeing the new student. Even waking up in a strange environment, in a giant clam no less, she looks graceful. He's really not sure why that's the first impression he got, but the feeling is soon replaced by concern. He feels compelled to offer her a hand up, but waits for her to reply to Kiibo.

Jataro Kemuri

"I cant get her out with my powers, more of Monokumas power blocking." Jataro said. "I wish I could play the piano...."

All of a sudden Monokuma came over the announcements "Puhuhuhuhu! I see you have found two of the five new students!" He said "Hints for the other three go as follows. Locker. Mechanic. Medical." Monokuma chuckled and ended the announcement.

Laying in wait a Popstar was submerged from the neck down in a block of metal in the mechanic lab.

Laying in wait a Nurse was about to have "surgery" performed on her in the nurses office.

Laying in wait a blue haired boy was trapped in a locker.

Laying in wait a Pianist was trapped in a glass tank above a piano.

"Also! They may die if you dont find them in time!" Monokuma said over the loudspeaker.
