K1-B0:
Waking up is, by itself, an act which troubles Kiibo. He does not sleep, after all, and he does not recall going in for maintenance either, so having been down for whatever reason is unsettling, to say the least.
He appears to be in some kind of bedroom, he observes. His charger is plugged into the wall. Was this room for him?
Growing warier by the second, he also notes that there is a watch strapped to his wrist. Or a smart watch, more like. The screen lights up when he taps it, showing options for a map and regulations. The latter option is disabled, so Kiibo settles for scrolling around the map. The building is shows is certainly nothing Kiibo recognizes, but wherever he is, it is quite a large facility.
An announcement sounds, directing him to the gymnasium. Near the cafeteria, it informs him, though Kiibo does not know where that is either. Looking back down at his wrist, he examines the map's icons a little closer. The room with the fork and knife symbol must be the cafeteria, he decides, so the gym is most likely the room next to it.
He stands up from the bed and looks over to the door. For a moment, he simply stands there, frowning. Then he transfers his consciousness. From the door's perspective, he can 'see' that there is no one outside. There are many doors just like his, each adorned with a pixelated picture of people he does not know. Is this a dormitory? He unlocks the door, swings it open, and quickly returns to his own body.
It irks him to follow the instructions of someone who, presumably, has kidnapped him, but something tells him that he currently has no other option. He glances briefly at the picture that confirms that yes, this is, indeed, 'his' room, and walks briskly to the gym, unnerved by the empty hallways. Slowly, he opens the door. No one is inside.
Kiibo stands there for a long time before he finally goes in.
SHUICHI SAIHARA:
"Ah!" he jerks awake, eyes snapping open and glancing around wildly. His stomach immediately sinks as he takes in the unfamiliar surroundings. There are so many unsettling details that he has trouble picking one to focus on, so instead, Shuichi sits up and grabs his hat which has been placed next to him on his bed. He clutches it tightly to his chest and sucks in a few deep breaths before placing it upon his head.
Where is he? And is he in danger? The first possibility that pops into his head is that he has been kidnapped, but Shuichi doesn't want to jump to conclusions. Who would want to kidnap him anyways? Though he is technically an Ultimate, Shuichi is hardly anyone of importance. Why is he in this bedroom? It's windowless and rather plain, with no personal items to tip him off on an owner. He checks the door and is slightly relieved to find that a) he is not locked in and b) he can lock the door from the inside. He promptly does so and sits back down on the bed.
With his immediate safety assured, the next thing to examine would be the watch around his wrist. Before he has a chance to, an announcement orders him to go to the gym. Shuichi goes rigid, not moving a muscle until the voice goes quiet. Stiffly, he turns his head towards the door. Are those footsteps he hears outside? His heart pounds in his chest as he waits for them to pass.
He turns his attention back to the watch, not ready to leave before he gathers all the information he can. Quickly, he takes a look at the map. He finds the gym and cafeteria that the voice was talking about, along with many, many other rooms. He does his best to memorize the layout and then turns to the regulations. Nothing happens when he taps on it. His head is swirling with thoughts and possibilities, most of them worrying. Rather than continue to fret, Shuichi reluctantly decides to go to the gym.
He cautiously cracks open the door to peer out. Though he's certain he had heard someone pass by earlier, the area is now empty. It looks to be a dormitory or living quarters of some kind. He cranes his neck to look at the sign on his own door and if not for the circumstances, he might have found the pixelated version of himself hanging there to be charming.
Shuichi carefully shuts his door behind him and heads to the gym. A single person is waiting there, and from the lost look on his face, he is not responsible for what's happening. However, he does not look quite... human. It could be an elaborate costume, Shuichi supposes. He greets him hesitantly, and before either of them can say anything else, the door opens yet again.
OOC: Hope I did this right? I haven't roleplayed on Chicken Smoothie before, so let me know if I get anything wrong. Also let me know if any of the assumptions I've made are off. : )
