Electra slid out of the booth and smiled up at him before placing a tip on the table and going up to the front to pay for their food. Jana grinned at her and winked as she took the cash. "So where are ya'll headed next?" She asked and wiggled her eyebrows. "Jana, I swear. You say one more word and I'll never ever tip you again. Or make you anymore brownies." The girl gasped dramatically and looked at her pleadingly. "No! You're brownies are so yummy! I'll shut up!" She said and quickly gave her change. Electra grinned and nodded, taking the change. "By Jana."

Todd clenthced his hands and let her through. She made an excellent point but then again, Mello did raise him after his parents were murdered. Todd smirked and moved away from the door. "I hope you know, he's just toying you around so he can get his grubby hands on the Death Note." he muttered, glancing to see what his shinigami was staring and speaking to. Aroku smriked and shook her head, herlong black, flowing hair following it.

Mello smirked at the girl and slipped off his coat. After a momment of silence, he pulled out his gun and cocked it in Adalyn's direction. "What use are you Todd if you can't shoot a freakkin b*tch? Im a bit disapointed to waste one of my bullets on her. Eh, no big deal I guess." Mello said, his eyes darting to Todd for the split second he spoke about him.

Lawliet grinned and bit his lip. "Not quite sure......how about, it's a surprise." He said, taking a hand from his pocket and lacing it with Electra's. He pulled her along quietly, ignoring the stares from other couples.

Electra followed after L, surprised he'd taken her hand, but not oblidging in the slightest. She grinned as she followed after him, her cheeks tinged red from the sudden contact. She brushed her hair from her eyes as they walked and ignored whatever stares they recieved.

Adalyn's eyes widened, but then they shrunk and she smirked broadly. "Go on, then." She said moving her bangs to show her forehead. She pointed to it and cocked her head. "Right here." She said, mischief playing in her emerald eyes. Rockky glanced from Aroku to Adalyn, raising an eyebrow.

Light paid the bill at the small dinner and offered to walk Misa home. He was planning on heading back to Task Force, since he had a little bit of work to finish up, before going home himself.

Misa yawned quietly and gazed around, clearly she had had enough wine.

Lawliet turned back to Electra, the background behind him absoluetly amazing. A large, crystal fountain stood behind him, towering a good 17ft high. Clear, blue crystal water sprouted from the top and all around, dumping the rest into the pool beneath it. "This is where I go to relax and clear my head." Lawliet said, his eyes shooting instantly to the ground.

Todd stood still, anger surging through his veins. "What about you Mello? And your damn obsession with this BOOK?!" He spat, his eyes flaring witrh rage.

Mello smirked and shoved the empty gun into his jacket pocket and eyed the girl with ease. His eyes slanted as he spoke. " No matter how I wish you kill you, I can't because you have the book. You can clearly see what I must not end your useless life."

Adalyn simply smirked. 'Oh, Mello..' She thought silently, flipping her hair from her eyes. She shrugged, her smirk never fading. "Tease." She said, winking at the blonde male. She glanced at Todd, then behind her to Rockky, who was laughing his arse off.

Electra stood motionless, her mouth hanging open at the sight. "It's...It's so beautiful." She finally said and looked at him, her eyes shimmering in wonder. "I can't believe you found a place like this. I can see why you come here. It's so...quiet and peaceful." She said and smiled at him.

Lawliet blushed lightly and nodded, his blank expression flickering back. Inside, he was truly amused to show someone else his sanctuary. It was inside a rather large greenhouse, beautiful, colorful plants surrounding the two. Trees, bushes, flowers, you name it. It was there. Sunlight streaked brightly through the clear grey glass. Birds chirped and sang their lovely morning songs. "You really think so?" Lawliet finally said, taking in the scene. "You're welcome here any time you'd like." He said, smiling.

Todd closed his eyes and took a deep, calming breath. Mello might be a somewhat father-like-figure but Todd was going to kick his freaking a*s any second. Aroku scoffed, knowing the girl couldn't see or hear her. "She's pretty damn brave, huh Rokky?" She said, both corners of her mouth up-lifting into a devilish grin. Although, on her skeletle half, she could barely smile so it looked as though she were displeased.

Mello shrugged and smirked playfully. "I guess that's what all women say around me."He said with a light tone as he pulled some chocolate from the bag he was holding. Mello had been out shopping. He held out a bar of chocolate for Adalyn. "Chicks like chocolate, right?"
