Electra nodded. "Yup." She paused for a moment and looked at L, almost as if analyzing him. "L..I think we've come to a minor dead end in the case. Kira hasn't done anything drastic lately and well, frankly, I think you need to get out." She paused, as if waiting to see how the detective would react but decided to press on. "So I was thinking..Why don't we go out and get some coffee and cake or something. I do think getting out of headquarters will help clear your head..As well as mine." She stiffened a bit as she waited for an answer, just hoping he'd agree.

Lawliet nodded, hid thumb still pressed to lips. "I understand." He said, turning away from her and to the brodcasting TV screen.

Misa growled in frustration and tapped her foot slightly.....

Todd blinked and flushed deep red as he rested his laptop on his side of the room. Damn Mello.....he knows I can't bunk in a room with a girl sleeping in my bed..... He thought as he stormed out of the room.

Mello set his chocolate on the coffe table and glared up at Todd as he stormed in.

Adalyn looked up as the boy stormed out. She wondered why he seemed so upset. Noting he was a high school student like her, or like she used to be. She still wasn't sure if they'd trust her to go back to school. Anywhom, She turned her attention back to Matt, still glaring slightly.

[Rhiannon_Lestat]

"I'll have some sweet and sour chicken and a Mountian Dew." Light said, it being the first thing he notices on the menu. "Misa?" he asks, "You have order anything you'd like."

[Asuna.]

Electra sighed softly. "L." She said softly and gently placed a hand on his shoulder. "Come on. I promise you nothing will happen while we're gone. I'll even buy you some cake." She said and gave him a smile. "Please come with me. Please?" She said and gave him what she liked to call...The Look. Her eyes got wide and her lower lip jutted out just a bit, giving her the look of a sad puppy. She hoped it's help her suceed in taking out the detective...Wait. Did she just think taking out? Electra's cheeks flushed and she suddenly averted her gaze. Jeez.....She needed to get her act together.

Lawliet averted his gaze from the flashing TV screen and onto Electra. His lips slipped into a smile when she said cake. After she finished speaking, Lawliet smirked ever so slightly as he spoke, his hands shoves awkardly into his pants pockets. "I-I would love to. Watari!" He called, his face turning the lightest shade of pink.

Misa grinned girlishly and spoke to the waitress. "I would love the Seafood Saturday please." She said politely, her legs crossed under the table.

Todd glared back, flames dancing wildy in his eyes. "You know I can't bunk with a girl! Or, do you not remember what happened last time?" He hissed, his red hair brightly shining a firey crimson.

The corners of Mello's lips twitched into a devilish smirk. "Oh, please fill me in. I seem to have forgotten about Todd, Todds little mishap with Kimberly."

Electra's face seemed to light up. "Really? Awesome!" She exclaimed. Score one for Electra! She'd actually convinced him to leave the Task Force Base....She'd never even seen him do that. Electra scurried off to grab her purse and her now dry hoodie. She quickly gazed into the black hole she referred to as her purse and counted her money. She hoped L wouldn't order every cake they had...She'd be broke if he did. Electra almost skipped back over to him before popping another Smartie into her mouth.

Lawliet glanced up breifly as Watari enetered. "Watari, I'll be going out for the day with miss Electra. Could you take care of things while Im off?" he said rather blankly, slipping on his old tennis shoes. Watari, rather flabbergasted ((Pfft)) nodded quickly. Lawliet followed Electra and watched her quietly. "You won't have to buy anything. I'll pay for it."

Todds body became tense. His eyes flickered to the floor.

Mello smirked. "Ah,you DO remember, huh? She sweet talked you and tried to suduce you. But, insted you pulled your gun out and put it to her sweet little head. Although she was just trying to escape with her deathnote, you pulled the trigger when she attempted to write your name. How sweet." His eyes glistened with caution as Todd came closer.

Todd snatched a cigarette from the table and lit it quietly. Puffs of smoke rose from the burning core.

Electra grinned at him and shook her head. "Nope. I said I'd buy you cake! So I will." Electra quickly tied her hoodie around her waist and walked out, gazing at L. "So, I'm going to show you the most amazing little cafe. They serve everything you could ever want. But it's a secret, mkay? Not many people go there...It's like my own little safe haven." She said and laughed softly as she walked.
