Misa's eyes stared deeply and intently into Lights. She nodded understandingly and shifted from foot to foot awkwardly. "Light? Your kind of scaring me with the 'anywhere you want' thing. Its not like you....." She said with a final, large blink.

Lawliet gazed up at her with slight interest. "Yes, I've noticed its quite a habit of Light's but we've never classified if he's lying or not." He said with his usual dull expression.

Todd ordered a simple cup of coffe and a slice of jammed toast. The waitress giggled and blushed as she strode away gracefully. After pulling out his laptop, Todd bagan to work on some extra classwork.

Adalyn sighed again, trying to ignore the sounds. "Don`t listen to them, Adalyn.. He doesn`t really care about you.. They just want information.." Rockky said beside her and she shifted her gaze to the ground.

Light shook his head, "I'm sorry. I just figured you may want to go somewhere specific." He shrugged and continued forward.

Song prepared another fluid to inject. "This isn't something you want in your system," she warned. "I won't kill you, but it will make the experience a good deal more unpleasant. So if you don't tell me something, poor Matt-y is going to have another reason to be unhappy."

Adalyn rolled her eyes, staring at the syringe. She shifted her gaze to the girl, her mind on Matt. "I have nothing to say." She said, her eyes hard, but a small spark of fear in them momentarily. She bit the inside of her lip, still staring at her. 'Stay strong..' Her mind told her.

Song stood for a moment, analyzing the child before her. Then, she plunged the needle into her flesh. The liquid drained from in and the effects would become apparent soon.

Adalyn yelled in agonizing pain, her head dropping and her eyes closing as tight as possible. She bit down on her lip to stop her yelling, the taste of blood filling her taste buds. Her breath came in short, quick huffs and she began to feel week and lightheaded. 'Stay... Stay strong...' Her mind repeated hesitantly. With out thinking she whispered under her breath. "Matt.." She quickly bit her bottom lip again.

Matt froze when he heard the scream. His mind numbed and he covered his face with his hands. Snap out of it! You don't need her. But he did.

Song stared blankly at the distressed girl. "The pain should subside soon and be replaced by a numbness. Then, anything you feel physically will be magnified by 78%."

Adalyn raised her head lightly. "Ph..Physically Magnified..?" She asked, confused. Rockky glared at the girl, turning to Adalyn. "Adaly-" "No." She growled under her breath.

"I'd be happy to demonstrate." The only implication of amusement was the cruel sparkle in her eyes. Oh, this will be too much fun... "It can be good or bad."
