She was a bit surprised at first but soon realized what it was and smiled, petting their fluffy fur. "Thanks guys, you're awesome." She felt glad to have them as her friend. Looking out at the ocean she felt peaceful. "Man there's so much I want to teach you about humans.. I can't wait."

((I've been busy dealing with the whole process of moving and a combination of having very low mental energy levels for the last two weeks, so I haven't had time or could think up a response that was proper enough. By the end of this week, I should be able to start being more active again.))

Spinel wasn't showing her happiness because if she did her gem would end up cracking more. Onyx had the biggest smile on her face as she walked along the beach in front of Steven's house they walked up the stairs and knocked on the door. Garnet stuck her head out the door as she opened it a crack. "Ahhh sorry were all a bit paranoid after what just happened to us. What brings you here?" Onyx's smile disappeared she pointed at Spinel's cracked gem, "Little mate needs some healing."

Fossil was scanning the area, listening closely for any signs they were near a body of water as she picked a bit at the crusty mud since it was starting to actually bother her now. That was then she noticed the squirrel, and for a moment Fossil found herself smiling at it, especially with how small it was. She winced though when it fell, looking sternly over at Kunzite calling it stupid.

Blue Quartz continued holding Sparrow close, purr getting steadily louder especially in reply. Both heads of the corrupted gem nodded quickly, finally setting her back down on the ground gently, going back to towering over her as they stood up and too, looked out at the ocean.

Sparrow could smell the salty sea air and she grinned brightly at the ocean

. "Would you like me to read you books? They're stories that are either real or fictional with a plot and characters."

Blue Quartz felt a bit sad they couldn't see the ocean, but they could smell it as well and even hear the waves lapping against the sandy shore. Both heads then turned to Sparrow, and nodded even though they didn't know what they were agreeing to. But whatever their friend enjoyed, they would've loved to experience as well.

Kunzite looked at Fossil and silenced her laughing, "Well let us go find a stream." Kunzite felt ashamed of herself she walked off scanning the area for a stream. Kunzite sneezed and tripped over a root, she rolled into something wet. She screamed and scrambled in the wetness, as Kunzite struggled she felt herself slip and was plunged into cold darkness.

Fossil blinked, but then nodded and began following Kunzite, listening for signs of a stream. They were in the woods, so no doubt the trio would stumble upon a source of water eventually. The thought of finally being clean made her feel a bit giddy, and she scratched more at the mud making it fall off in flakes.

Her attention was snapped straight to Kunzite though, hearing her scream and frantically looking around, stopping herself from also falling into whatever source of water they came across. It made it even more worse though when Fossil saw Kunzite fall. Without even thinking, the orange gem was quick to dive down into the spot Kunzite fell into, using her tail as a rudder to make her sink downwards into the depth, feeling around blindly for something that felt like Kunzite to grab.

Kunzite stopped struggling, what was she thinking she could be floating around in space and be just fine and yet there she was freaking out in the water. She "breathed in" and looked up then stood up in the mucky waters to collide skulls with an unseen figure above her, realizing if was most likely a human or a gem she pushed off the ground. Kunzite grabbed the figure and swam towards the surface struggling with each kick.
