Lucian looked at her in shock, "What?" he asked as he studied her, "I am sorry Maya, but I do not feel that way about you. And what do you mean, won't be around much longer?" he asked.

"I know you don't Lucian. And I know you never will." Maya gave a weak smile. "I just don't have the strength to fight anymore. I don't have it in me anymore to live. You love Kokara, don't you?" She asked, suddenly serious.
