20 years have passed since Marinette Dupain-Cheng and Adrian Agreste took on the mantels of Ladybug and Chat Noir. However, evil is still not gone from the City of Love, with the robbery at the Agreste mansion, Gabriel Agreste has lost possession of the Butterfly Miraculous. Now, the new holder plans to use the Miraculous for the same purposes that Hawk Moth had in mind. Marinette and Adrian have new lives as a couple and parents, so they can no longer be Ladybug and Chat Noir. Now, in place of the aging Master Wang Yu, Marinette tries to find worthy successors to defeat the new holder of the Butterfly Miraculous.

Information

Marinette and Adrian are married now, and they know their secret identities, and the same applies with Alya and Nino, they are a married couple and they know their secret identities.

If the holder of the Butterfly Miraculous uses a potion to power up Nooroo, the potion will have an effect on the Akumatized supervillain's theme, based on the potion used.

Using a Miraculous that is damaged can cause unusual things to happen. The symptoms are gaining realistic animal parts related to the damaged Miraculous, along with dangerously high fever and delirium, and eventually, if the Miraculous is not fixed properly, the user will turn into a creature based on the related animal. Watch this video for an example. Note: The video only shows an example of what happens with the Cat Miraculous, use your imagination for other ones.

Emilie Agreste has been revived by Marinette and Adrien willingly using the Ladybug and Cat Miraculous to use the wish to revive her. This does not mean Gabriel ever obtained the Miraculous, Marinette and Adrien learned about the wish, and Marinette allowed Adrien to use her Miraculous in order to revive his mother.

The Peacock Miraculous is no longer damaged

Caelan Agreste was waking up in his room at his paternal grandfather's mansion. Gabriel had seemed to be a nervous wreck ever since the break-in, even though nothing was reported stolen. He didn't understand what he was so nervous about, but he also didn't understand why somebody would break in and not steal anything. He walked down to the kitchen and opened the fridge, only for a scary clown head to spring out, causing him to fall back screaming, "Plagg I'm gonna kill you!" before running back up to his room to find the annoying Kwami who loved to pull pranks on him.

“Brianna wanna go for a walk or maybe patrol?” Trixx asked. “Paris doesn’t need our help yet, Trixx. But a walk sounds like a good idea. The young girl smiled at her kwami. Getting her bag she hid her Kwami in there and walked out of her home. Maybe Paris would get a break. Maybe no akuma today. At least that’s what Brianna hoped for. She headed to the park and sat down on a bench to study.

After awhile she got up to walk back home. But at a nearby store she saw something on the tv. Some weird guy with a tv for a head. “Judging by that look he’s either a mascot or...an akuma. Kinda creepy looking either way.” She muttered under her breath.

On every TV in Paris, Commercial Chaos was on it, and he said, "People of Paris! Welcome back to channel 49! I'm sorry to say that Extreme Food Fight is cancelled! Oh, wait, no I'm not! We're bringing back Oh Sit! In a BIG way! I challenge Paris's famous superhero team to a live broadcast of Oh Sit! If you survi- I mean win, I'll let these two go, but if you lose you give me your Miraculous!" before making his camera turn towards his old producer and the host of the new cooking show Extreme Food Fight, who were tied up, dangling over a tub of boiling water. When the camera moved back to Commercial Chaos, he said, "Well heroes, do you accept my challenge? If you're not at the Zodiak Media Company Building by 6 o'clock, these two will be in serious hot water!"

As Caelan was chasing Plagg he saw Commercial Chaos on his TV and said, "That's Don Treadway! His show got canceled a while ago, he must have gotten Akumatized! Plagg, Claws Out!" before Plagg was drawn into his ring and he became Chat du Matheur

“Okay! Bye dad, I’ll be back before five, don’t worry! I’ll call when I’m on my way home!” Alexis called out haphazardly, a brief and lazy two-fingered salute being provided by the girl towards her father that was stood upon the small balcony of the apartment that they lived in. He was stood with one hand holding the railing and the other waving his daughter off as she ran down the street, managing to reach a crossing just before the traffic lights went green once more. Puffing, slightly out of breath from running. Although she hadn’t intended to make any solid plans during the day, she was hoping to be able to reach the Musée du Louvre before it became busy as it typically good, especially when there were tourists - although the most common time for that would be during the summer so she supposed she ought to be safe from that. “I thought that you’d already gone to the Louvre this week, Alexis?” The kwami safely concealed in Alexis’ pocket found on the inside of her jacket chimed in, breaking the silence between the duo. “I know Tikki, but you gotta admit that it’s a nice place, it’s somewhere easy to focus and study.” She insisted with a bright smile.

It seemed that her plans were going to be cut short, however, as she passed by an electronics shop which had several televisions in the window, all broadcasting the same message. Alexis studied the screens and bit her lip as she watched as a small group of civilians began to form around the screens, watching as the proposition was made. Taking some steps back to avoid any possible crowd that could form, Alexis glanced down at the kwami tucked in her jacket pocket - the divine being showing the same concerned expression - before turning her gaze to begin scanning her surroundings, finding a suitable back alley where she could safely retreat into for a hidden transformation. Darting into the alleyway, Alexis made one last sweep to ensure she was alone before the kwami flew out to face her, “You heard him! You’ve got until 6 o'clock, we better hurry!” Tikki urged, an exasperated sigh escaping Alexis, “So much for catching up with studies I guess…” She mumbled to herself, eventually replacing the irritated frown with a confident smile. “Ah, well, there’s no harm in a little TV break!” Alexis joked before straightening her pose, “Tikki! Spots on!”

Once the transformation sequence was complete, Alexis swung out the yo-yo that accompanied the superheroine attire, wrapping around a nearby chimney before yanking on it to send herself flying into the air. Now stood on a rooftop and having retracted her yo-yo, she glanced about until she spotted the Zodiak Media Company Building, running across roofs and coming to a halt where she could take cover behind a chimney near the building so that she could await the arrival of Chat du Malheur to aid her. Opening up her tool that was iconic to Ladybug, she frowned as she used it to contact her partner to inform him of her whereabouts. “Chat, I’m waiting on Rue du Pont Neuf, beside the building.”

“Home will have to wait, Trixx let’s pounce!” Once she had transformed Sly Vixen was running across rooftops toward the Zodiac Media Company. She soon stopped when she saw Ladybug. “So I guess we will need the whole team to take this creep down huh.” She said.

Caelan got Ladybug's call and replied, "On my way Ladybug." before jumping out of his bedroom window and heading to the Rue du Pont Neuf. As he arrived, he told them, "I think Commercial Chaos is Don Treadway. He used to be the host of that game show, Oh Sit!, until it got cancelled that is. I think that may be how he got Akumatized."
