Midnight soared through the air, his strong wings carrying him far above the forest below. The wind rustled his feathers and he sighed as he looked for a more easy meal. "Can't a guy get some grub around here?!" he said in frustration as all he could find were rats and chipmunks. Finally a deer came into view and he took a dive, watching out for birds this time. He landed on the body and ripped it apart, loving the feel of the warmth seeping through his scales and claws.
