Personality: A little cold, and prefers to keep to himself. He'd rather focus on his studies than make friends. He's also rather secretive, and doesn't open up easily at all. If you're lucky (and patient) enough to actually get close to him, he'll be incredibly loyal, trustworthy and surprisingly caring.
Notes: Pureblood. Particularly talented with Potions.
Habits: Sometimes overworks himself, rubs his chin when nervous or stressed.
Accessories: His wand is oak wood with dragon heartstring core.

Appearance notes: About average height, has an athletic build. Dark olive skin. Defined, sharp jawline.
Personality: Fairly quiet, Zig doesn't really talk to many people, as he can be a little shy. He's somewhat friendly, though he is very wary and cautious of new people until he's met them a couple of times. He hopes to be more confident someday. Zig is also very patient, and is willing to take his time to make sure he's precise.
Notes: Half-blood. Fluent in English and Spanish. Likes watching Quidditch - wants to play someday.
Habits: Bounces his leg when sitting if he's nervous. Likes drawing to release some stress.
Accessories: Wand is cherry wood, and unicorn tail hair core.

Venelope ambled along behind the other silent first-years, following Professor McGonnogal. The wide doors of the great hall swung open and a bright golden light flooded through.

Cato walked with the other first years, keeping to the back of the group. He was quite looking forward to studying hard for the year. He'd already made a couple of basic potions at home, and found he took to it really well, so he was particularly looking forward to that class.
He glanced around the Great Hall, when the group walked into it, wondering which House he'd end up getting Sorted into.

Zig bit his lip as the group walked into the Great Hall. He was a little nervous. He hadn't spoken to many of the others on the train, but he was looking forward to getting to know the others later. He decided that he'd wait until after he was Sorted first though, of course, so he'd make friends with those that were actually in his House. He was also looking forward to seeing the rest of Hogwarts, sure it would be as stunning as the Great Hall was.

The bright light hurt Venelope's eyes as the first years neared Sorting Hat. Her nerves tingled with excitement. She had a very good idea of what house she would be in- but she didn't mind is she was wrong. Professor McGonnogal swept past the group and unfurled a rolled parchment, and then began to read off names; "Fuente, Azula," Professor McGonnogal called.

Azula walked up to the ha, eyes wide as she looked around, trying to see everything. Little over a month ago she hadn't even known that magic existed, and now here she was. In the middle of the great hall. The wand in her pocket was cold to the touch - she'd almost burst a water pipe in Olivander's shop when she'd tried it - but comforting. It had worked for her. It had chosen her. That meant she was supposed to be here, right? Blowing her fringe out of her eyes, she sat down on the stool, the hat covering half her face as it dropped down. It was massive. Or maybe she was just small.

Venelope watched as the girl sat down- she shifted to her other foot and glanced quickly around. In the middle of the staff table was Dumbledore. The house tables that stretched across the hall were shiny and bordered by dozens of Hogwarts students.

Luca walked inside the massive great hall, their eyes shining with wonder at the impressive architecture of the whole place while Kamrin was far more interested at the prospect of finally getting a nice meal, and the sorting ceremony of course. They waited along with the rest of the first years and watched as the first girl was called up to the sorting hat.

Personality: He is very book smart like his grandfather. he very mood on days of the full moon, he is a prankster.
Notes: He is Part werewolf but only changes 4 time a year. Half blood
Habits: He breaks rules that need to broken. He also doesn't sleep on nights of the full moon that he doesn't change into a wolf.
Accessories: Holly wood with a dragon heartstring core, 12 ½" and slightly springy flexibility and has a pet owl and wolf husky mix pup Named Shadow and Shade.

"Well, what have we here?" Someone spoke in her ear. Azula jumped.
"You can talk?"
"Of course I can talk. Did you not just hear the song?"
"Well, yeah, but that could have been something recorded."
"You are an interesting one."
"I'm Azula."
"You don't have to talk out loud you know. I can read your thoughts" A magical talking hat that can read thoughts. Why not. "Willingness to help, a desire to make friends... yes. I know exactly where I'll put you. HUFFLEPUFF!" The hat was lifted off her head and Azula jumped off the stool, looking around. What did Hufflepuff mean? The yellow table was cheering the loudest, so maybe she was supposed to sit there? She felt a hand on her back, pushing her towards the yellow table. Looks like she was supposed to sit there then.
