"No," was her half-hearted reply. She stumbled to her feet, taking in a breath and a sharp pain shot up her leg. "Sorry to bother you!" She began to walk back, attempting to hide her limp. I ran all three blocks too...

Trevor shook his head slightly and pocketed the lighter before jumping out the window. He walked briskly in her direction. "You sure?" he asked, raising a brow. "And, you're not a bother. I'm just in a slightly irritated mood is all." He watched her figure for a moment. "Limping?"

Fire sighed, "No. Why are you irritated?" She continued limping, not bothering to hide it.

"I'd rather not say," Trevor said as he extended an arm across her back to help her walk. "Come on, let's just get back to the gateless building. It's closer than walking back to that bar place, you know."

She sighed in defeat and nodded. "Yeah, I know." Fire allowed him to lead her. Ian should have come after me. "So what's your story?"

Lynn glanced back at him again, since she didn't see too much of a light. "If you say so," she replied with a small shrug and continued in the northern direction. Soon enough, an open store was within view. "Good eyes," she complimented brightly.

Trevor sighed a little as he began to bring her back toward the abandoned house. "Homeless because a fire claimed the lives of my family. We had very little money in the first place, so there wasn't a way for me to get another home after that one. I ended up getting into smoking and a little bit of drinking, which I'm slowly starting to stop. I work at some place just down the road to make a little money so I don't starve or anything. I'm a guy of little needs, I guess."
