"I see," Fae mused, her lips pressed together in a thin line. She got up onto her claws and started to pace the cave. "Do you have any idea who the other dragons were? What their ethnicity was?" she paused, considering other possibilities. "What if the dragons come back? We'd probably either have to fight them or provide them with shelter for a few days." She sat down again infront of the embers and re-lit the fire with a puff of smoke.
"Also, if your attack on the slayers was as powerful as I felt, then it won't be long before the Slayers go out on a hunt for us," she implied that now would be a good time to make their move before they gathered their forces. Her lips parted in a wide, dragonic smile, her white fangs glinting gold from the fire's reflection. "By my estimation, with these caves being typically often used by dragons and the fact that the Slayers are pretty well organzed for humans, they'll have located and amassed a force of attack within the next twenty-four hours, meaning we should either get the hell outta here or fight. I think I have a pretty good inkling as to what your pick would be," she grinned.
Jaikal continued eating, the silence stretching out before him interrupted only by Echo's occasional trilling and the sound of water lapping at the enterance to the cave. Feeling a compelling urge to say something, the water dragon spoke his thoughts. "I wonder what happened to that earth dragon, and that cave... It was like a city down there, or at least big enough to be one," he paused as the hatchling looked at him. "It might be worth investigating," he posed. The thought had been on his mind for a while, but he just hadn't really felt the need to bring it up. He guessed that he just really needed to get the nagging thought out that that particular cave might be important... very important indeed.
