Eternal Light (Dragon&Slayer War/Romance RP)*Accepting!*

[IRONEYES]

((Sorry, I went away for a bit and only just got back! If I miss out anything in this post, just tell me ;)))

Fae was just getting close to her prey when she felt a surge of lava burst through the earth. It wasn't close enough for her to even see it, but it was kinda a fire dragon thing. She immediately thought that it must have something to do with Rymber and so lifted off, startling the deer who had already fleed her thoughts. After a few wingbeats she had cleared the tree line and began to glide forwards in a smooth but fast motion towards where she had felt the surge. When she was within a few hundred metres of it she could hear the moans of dying slayers. Sure enough, when she looked to her right she could see Rymber winging his way back to the cave. She banked right and started pumping her wings in an effort to catch up to him.

Jaikal nodded. "Okay. I'll meet you back at the cave," he manged to get out as Echo head-butted his shoulder. His heart lightened. He'd had a liking towards Echo, no the friendly type but something else, and this just strengthened the thought in his head that she felt the same way. He smiled before spinning around and grasping the carcass in his talons, taking to the air with a powerful push from his wings.

Echo took to the sky a few moments after him. She headed for the cave. Once she got ove rthe water hidning the cave she seen a school off fish below and she lifted higher into the air. " 3...2...1 NOW!" She though and she tucked her wings in and dove down. She opened her mouth and closed her eyes just before she hit the water, trying to to swallow any. she snaped her jaws shut as soon as she felt some fish. She opened her eyes and headed towards the cave. She could feel a fish on one of her teeth, it was leaving a blood trail in the water, which in turn attracted a shark. She wiped around and dove under the shark, arched her back and lifted her long back spines, they gashed the sharks belly. Wuith a well aimed taloned hand she killed it before takeing it to the cave. "Why waste it?" she thought.

Jaikal took the scenic route back to the cave, quickly scanning the territory while enjoying the heat his deep blue scales absorbed from the sun. After checking that he had the right location he dove, tucking the carcass close to his body to erase the possibility of damage as he entered the water. Just as he had predicted, he was right outside the cave. He swam in and flopped the carcass down on the cave floor. A few seconds after he heard Echo coming, and by the sound of it, she had something heavy with her.

Echo ran into the side of the ship that was part of the entrance to the cave and she curssed silenly, the fish swiming in her mouth and threatning to go down her throut was quite distracting. She managed to get inside the cave and she floped onto the floor and pushed the shark to one side and she spit out the fish and pioke dthem with her claws to kill them so the hatchling could eat them easier.

Bird lifted he rhead and trilled as she heard Jakial come in then Echo. She nosed the hatchling to wake her softly

Alexandra/Midnight

I couldn't stop crying, his grasp a ound me tightly,telling me not to cry. "I feel as is something is following me..and wanting to kill me.." I said through my tears, Ever since that attack byt house slayers my life has eben good and bad at the same time, good cause I foudn someone to love but also bad Cause alllot of abd things have been happening . "I don't knw what to doa nymore" I said burying my head into his chest and staying there crying..

Rymber

I felt hungery and tired after using my powers. The air cooled me down as I flew back to the cave. I just wish that some dragons would be more careful in this unforgiving world. One day i hoped to finally free us from the dangers of the slayers so our future generations could live in safety and peace. There were still things that I didn't understand, but I was always learning. The sun was high in the sky and my wounds wear now sealed up. I landed at the mouth of the cave and sented for anything unwanted. But it was clear and so I curled up and fell asleep. The distant sound of wingbeats didn't even bother me.

Jaikal smiled as he watched the hatchling wake. He put the elk down on the cave floor. No blood poured out; most of it had washed away during the flight and the breif swim to the cave. His heart leapt as he saw Echo come into the cave, and again when he saw the shark. "Good job," he smiled fondly.

Fae frantically beat her wings and landed rather ungracefully on the cave floor. "What was that all about?" she asked quizzically, tucking her wings into her body. The early morning sun illuminated her golden scales as she waited for a reply.

[Agent Shark]

Echo smiled. ''It thought it could take on a dragon. I showed it what my spines could do." She said and breifly lifted up her spines before laying them flat. "Were could maybe call her Kearsa or Kera?" Echo sigested as she walked over to him and layed down. She didnt lay close, but she was within tuching distince.

Bird smiled "Well, I'll be back. Im going to go wander around" Bird said. She stood and dove into the water and dissapeared.

Jaikal mused for a second over Echo's suggestion. "I think Kearsa sounds good, but with Kera for short?" he posed. "See you soon," he managed to get out at Bird just before she left. The hatchling looked a bit confused at the she-dragon's disappearance and toddled over to where Echo was on unsteady legs, falling over at Echo's feet and looking up into her eyes. A pleading trill from the back of her throat pronounced that she was hungry. Jaikal flopped down next to Echo and grabbed a leg off the elk, starting to eat as he realised how hungry he was.
