Cira burst out laughing. She'd seen plenty of strange things, but this... this was a bit much. She only had a few seconds to herself, however: hearing the nurse's shreik, medics came rushing in like flies to fresh manure. One of them grabbed her with an iron grip and looked into her eyes.
"What happened?!" they exclaimed, digging their fingers into her wrist.
"I just looked at her, and everything went high-def, and then she fainted," Cira managed to get out, clutching her sides.
"It's alright!" the medic called out to the others. "The process was successful!"
The other medics looked relieved, and all of them except the one holding Cira's wrists left, lifting the unconscious nurse out of the room. "Martin..." she slurred as they took her away.
Cira was confused now. "What? What have you done?!" she demanded, trying to look as fearsome as possible to try threaten them to tell her. It worked with most of them.
