The Bitter Ones *ACCEPTING!*

Mist turned her head, focusing her almost completely hidden gaze on Jake, turning the rest of her body around too so that she was facing him. She didn't say a word. Jake was really the only person she spoke to around here, but even he hardly ever got a word out of her. And when he did, it was most likely something very important that Crow either didn't know about, or couldn't explain. Crow was smirking, the hollow areas which were meant for his eyes glowing an eeriee colour of red.
"Heh, of course. Though they should've been warned as they entered, it would only make sense. After all, they gotta learn who's boss around here..." He smirked, laughing manically. Mist only frowned, watching Jake. She never removed her gaze from him for a second.

Jake looked to his left and saw a boy walking down the street. Still watching the boy, he said, "That's one of them. I'm pretty sure his name's Brandon. By the way he was looking at us when we passed by, he hates us. He could definately use a lesson. Then there's this one kid; Alix. He's pretty cocky, so he might have to be taught who's the boss. I haven't seen him yet, though. Brandon is probably our biggest problem."

Brandon suddenly got the feeling somebody was watching him, so he quickly looked to the right. Instantly, he stopped Jake watching him. With one last glare, he looked back forwards and continued walking. He got the feeling again that something worse was coming, so he quickened his pace and began getting a little nervous. However, he didn't dare to look back and make sure Mist, Crow, and Jake weren't following.

Crow only nodded, watching as Brandon glared at them. That was it, he was ticked off now... He narrowed his eyes, looking to Mist.
"Oh he's really done it now... Mist, walk."
He commanded. Mist sighed, and walked out of the darkness, following Brendan at Crow's request. Crow glanced back at Jake, looking ticked off still.
"Come on kid, quit standing there like an idiot, you're gonna help us with this one."
He said simply, giving mist a hard nudge onwards, so she sped up. People backed away, knowing Brendan was in for it... And that left them alone as he foolishly turned a corner into a dead end.
"So, I heard you don't like us..."
Crow hissed, his eyes narrowed. Mist backed Brendan into a wall. She was intimidating, and just full on scar. And yet, so was Crow.

Jake set his skateboard down and got on it, then rode beside Mist and Crow as they backed him into a corner. Brandon glared at the three and said, "You heard right." He looked down at Jake's skateboard, which was now back under his arm. Jake took it in one hand, as if he was going to use it as a weapon against Brandon. He said, "Well you should be," then quieted down so Crow could speak, since Mist probably wouldn't.

Crow narrowed his eyes instantly.
"You're gonna regret saying that, kid... I'll show you who's boss!"
He snarled, giving Mist a nudge. Though she looked reluctant, she released the tight hold she had on the darkness, the shadows behind her suddenly roaring to life, beginning to look more and more lifelike by the second. The was a loud snapping noise as Crow's jaws opened wider than they should be able to. There was a tube there... Suddenly, a poisonout gas spewed out of it and right into Brendan's face. It wouldn't kill him, but he'd never admit openly that he hated them again. Mist glanced back at the shadows, and then to Jake. He was one of those shadows... he was one of the Bitter Ones... He lived only to serve her and Crow.
And those shadows... One of the heads was him.

Jake stood by as Brandon held his breath and pushed past them, then continued running until he arrived back at the streets where everybody else was. They were all staring at him, and he ignored them all. Jake finally put his skateboard down, put one foot on it, and asked Crow and Mist, "Should I go after him?"

Crow watched as he ran off, hs eyes still narrowd. Then, he looked to Jake.
"Go right ahead kid, and make sure you hurt him... If you have to, then use your... Other... Form."
Crow said with a smirk. Jake would knwo what he was talking about. Being one of the bitter ones, he had two forms. One which was this one, and another in which he turned into one of the beasts protrayed in Mist's shadows. They had been created through her nightmares, and Jake had been chosen to share the same ones up until he came here. Chances are, those dreams were the reason he decided to come tot his place, to this alternate world...

Jake nodded and then sped off after Brandon. Brandon looked up just in time to see Jake come in front of him with clenched fists. He punched Jake right in the nose, not only knocking him off of his skateboard, but knocking him out. Everybody around them stared at Brandon, then at Jake's unconscious body lying on the ground, then at the skateboard as it bumped into a building and stopped rolling.

Crow narrowed his eyes.
"Mist, I thought I told you to train him up... Looks like we'll have to handle this ourselves... Heh, this should be fun."
He smirked. Mist looked down as the whole place suddenly turned pitch black. Everyone else quickl;y ran into their houses, but Brandon had no time to. He was unable to. Mist made it so... Mist, being the first ever resident here, was in control of this world. In control of its residents. In control of everything here.
Suddenly, her and Crow were infront of Brendan. But Mist was noticably concerned about Jake... She looked up, hearing a loud and terrifying roar as her shadows begun to come to life. The other two bitter ones, they were awake... And as Crow went in control of them, Mist rushed over to Jake, checking he was alright. He'd be fine... She was too soft, she really was. But she did have a rather large soft spot for Jake. But that was it, just him and Crow. She didn't care about anyone else... She gently moved him away from the situation before them, creating the darkness into a sort of shield around them.

The two bitter ines were latrger and more powerful than Brendan, or anyone. Both roared simultaneously. And then, BAM!
That terrible ray of hatred and anger hit its mark. It always did. That one hit alone was enough to leave Brandon unconsious, and in alot of pain. That'd teach him... After Crow made certaint hat BVrendan wouldn't wake up for a while, and when he did he would have bed injuries, the darrkness dissapeared along with the two beasts.

Brandon lay on the ground, unconscious. This experience made him hate the three even more, and he knew he just caught Jake by surprise. Mist did everything Crow commanded, and she had a soft spot for Jake, so she was no threat. Crow and Jake were the powerful ones he had to watch out for. Meanwhile, Jake woke up on the curb. He looked up and saw Mist kneeled beside him. Groaning, he asked, "What happened? I was riding towards Brandon, and then... I don't really remember... Did he knock me out?"
