"You try carrying eight rabbits at once in your mouth," he said with a smirk as he shifted back to wolf form. The string of rabbits floated up and over his head, then settled across his back.

Allie smiled and stood up "Not changing back." She said as she petted his head. She started to walk back towards her house.

"That's fine with me," he said, leaning his shoulder against her hip, "as long as you keep petting me."

Quinton panted happily, then, almost as an afterthought, asked, "You got any spices?"

Allie nodded "Yup, why?"

"Because I can cook a mean rabbit, but I need the right spices."

"I thought you were going to eat them just the way they were?" Allie asked now letting her hand rub his back.

Quinton gave a strange, happy shudder at her touch then said, "I could, but cooked meat is better and why eat raw when I can use your stove?"
