Feather scanned the country side, wondering where they could bed down for the night.

Image wandered a bit farther into the forest.
"Hello?" he sighed, "Heellooo?"

Raine stayed silent. If he was anything like her he could see where her combat booots had made markes in the leaves.

Image noticed some tracks on teh leaves.
"Hmm," he followed them to the base of a tree.
"Now how did you get all the way up there?" he asked.

Christal smiled and dipped lower over the forest and looked for a stream that they could sleep near. She liked being near streams.

Feather smiled,
"You find a good spot yet?" she asked.

Christal gasped as they came to an open lake. She smiled and nodded.

Raine looked down at the boy. "I jumped." she said simply her heart thumping in her chest, her wings ready if she needed a quick escape.

"Uh huh...I see. How old are you?" he asked.

Feather smiled,
"Alright, let's check it out." she banked towards the lake.

"Fifteen." Raine said hestantly jumping down from the tree to meet him facce to face, "Who are you?" she asked a threat creeping in to her voice, when in fright bring a bite, she thought to herself.

Christal smiled and landed on the sandbar. "Wait there's an island in the middle." she said pointing to the island.
