Alfie woke up, his piercingly bright eyes opening to the welcoming sight of an unfamiliar place. His teeth clenched together as he pushed himself into a sit, starting to scan the room he was placed in. He rubbed his forehead, letting out a grunt. "Agh," he wheezed out, sweeping his fingers across his forehead to sling away sweat. "Lovely, I have no clue where I am. Just when I reunite with Harvey too" he snarled out. He got up, clenching his fists as he made his way out of the bedroom he was placed in, a frown plastered onto his face. His gaze shot across the living room. "Wow. A downgrade from where I was living. Is this a joke?!" He took a deep breath, the stomach-turning scent of rot penetrating his nostrils, though he was unaffected, years of living with it dulled down his sense of smell, making him unable to smell the most putrid of smells. He closed his eyes, taking a moment to compre -hend the situation that he was in, and once he was through he opened his eyes, making his way out of the crummy building he was placed in.
As he opened the door, his pupils shrank as they were hit by the sun rays peeking into the open door, causing him to immediately squint as he pushed himself out, closing the door behind him. "Harvey?!" He called out as he ran into the sidewalk, his voice being drowned out by the immense noise of cars driving by. "Ugh..." He toppled to his knees, his jet-black hair glimmering due to the sunlight, while sweat dripped from his face due to the scorching heat. He sniffled, staying on his knees for a second, before eventually getting up to brush off his robes. He looked around with a frown, this place was polluted. Very polluted. He couldn't have done this... He wasn't even awake until now. "This just hurts to see." He huffed out as he glanced to his gloved hands. "This is why I wear these, for god's sake!" He nearly shrieked with anger, but held himself back. It surely was a depressing sight to see, but why wasn't he used to it?
