Morning Locuss [Spikeantula] | ♀️| Tags; Open |
Morning came crashing down onto the flat rooftop of an apartment building. If anyone else had been thrown into the air and slammed onto a roof on their hands and feet, at least a few bones would’ve been broken. Thankfully, she was used to being hurled around like a rag doll, and the extra durability the spider bite gave her stopped her bones snapping like twigs. She steadied herself before standing up, checking her mask, and surveying her surroundings.
She stared blankly at the surrounding city for a few minutes, as if her mind had dropped her thoughts and was scrambling to collect them. After a few long moments, the young woman came to her senses. Immediately, she was unsettled by a strange feeling deep in her gut. Something wasn’t right, this wasn’t home. Morning edged to the where the roof ended, making as less noise as she could. As she peered down to the streets below, unnoticed by the citizens milling around on the side walk below, her memories of the ten minutes came flooding back to her. Vividly remembering the portal of swirling colours and shapes, she stiffened for a moment. Shaking her head as if to clear it of distractions, she moved to the opposite side of the building and dropped silently into the empty alley way below.
Rawl [Dreamstalker] | ♂️| Tags; Open |
Rawl’s head was spinning as he regained his senses. It took him a while to realise that he was standing in the grimy alley way behind some sort of store, trash bags, bins and boxes piled around him. Immediately disgusted, he hurried out of the shadowy and alley and into the sunlight. Shielding his dark eyes from the sudden glare of the sun, he hurried through the crowds moving up and down the pavement. As he walked, a few humans glanced or stared at him, but Rawl didn’t let it get to him. He could strike them down in a few heartbeats, there was no reason to be put off by a few ignorant citizens.
As he crossed the road, he realised something was off. The buildings seemed to be shuffled around and where a billboard usually was, there was nothing. Also realising he was wandering around without reason, something he considered below him, Rawl settled on a bench, tightening the purple scarf so it didn’t slip off his noseless face.
