Patti nodded. "Come on Kid!" She lifted him up, and he looked back and smiled. "Don't worry Patti. I'm in control."

"C'mon! Lets go!" Black☆Star finished for her and walked out, marching.

Liz, then Patti, then Kid walked behind Black*Star and Tsubaki.
Patti was wiggling around. "I'm excited!"
Kid smiled, his arms crossed as they walked.

Maka smiled. "I need to get ready."

"Sure! Take as long as you need!" Tsubaki smiled at Maka.
"And I'm hungry!" Black☆Star said as he kept walking.

Patti smiled. "Well then, I guess we need to hurry!"
Kid laughed a bit. Oh, shutup Kid. You're lucky I'm letting you loose tonight.
"I know, jeez," Kid said.
Liz looked back, but said nothing.

"I'll race you!" Black☆Star said with a smile. The only way for Black☆Star to forget his anger was to act this way.
Tsubaki smiled at Black☆Star. Just like when we first met at DWMA..

Patti laughed. "I want to race!"
Liz smiled, and walked in step with Tsubaki. "Do you think he's calm now? Or is he trying to hide that last bit of anger?"

Kid fell farther and farther behind, and looked over at the place where he had killed that man. He stared at it for a good minute. The soul was gone now, no surprise. He shook his head, and kept walking, hoping they didn't notice his absence.

"Its on!" Black☆Star said before he started to run.
Tsubaki looked at Liz. "I still can feel the anger and bitterness in him. This is his way to block it. His passion for battle turns to a passion for making the ones around him stop worrying. That's another part of his ego at work."

Patti ran too, obviously loosing. She sprinted, panting, all the way.

Liz nodded. "I don't think Kid has anything like that. Well, I guess he does. He has that coverup, the normal Kid for us. Speaking of him." She turned around. "Where is he? I know we passed that..spot."

Black☆Star looked back at Patti. He leaped a bit, did a 180, then landed on his feet and started to run backward. Running that way makes anyone run slower, but Black☆Star didn't notice.
