So he did read it after all ... okay. He wasn't even going to bother saying anything about ... ‘ladies’. It didn't matter to this conversation to point out that Keith didn't like girls in the first place. He doesn't need to tell Lance that whatsoever. He'd probably make a joke out of it. Big-headed egotistical idiot-
Keith shot Lance a glare at the mention of the cow. “ Really? That's what you're worried about? Not like anything, I don't know ... important? ” Who was he talking about? Shiro. Duh. Shiro is like a brother to Keith, he's always worried about him LITERALLY no matter what.

He wouldn't have been surprised if all of a sudden the floor would give in, or if a rope would tie around their ankles and hold them down. He was a bit more unsure about the whole "assassin ninja" thing but hey. They had to be ready for anything. It was already strange enough that they'd all randomly woken up without any reconciliation of what had happened the previous night. He really needed to find out who this Albus guy was. "What do you think Master A is like?" Peter questioned, turning to meet Alyx's gaze. "I mean, do you think he's like a really, really burly guy? Or maybe some little puny guy who's actually quite threatening." He cleared his throat before speaking up again. "Um, anyways, what's our plan if we do happen to come across him?" Peter already knew his plan, being Spider-Man and all, but perhaps the raven-haired girl was rather skilled in physical combat.

⇀Lucina!!

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Cocking her head slightly, it seemed to take the girl a moment to realize her presence. Perhaps she hadn't heard her immediately. It did not matter. What truly mattered was now she had noticed that she was here and it seemed that she was not alone. She was accompanied by a strange, but small creature that was floating near her. Never before had she seen anything like it and it left her wondering what exactly it was and how exactly it was floating like it was. Normally things didn't just float unless they had wings or were being controlled by some kind of magic. Maybe that was what was going on here. The girl before her didn't seem like one that would be capable of magic though then again looks could be deceiving as she had come to find out. Sometimes people were the exact opposite of what they appeared. That was how her father had supposedly fallen and that was enough for her to concern herself with not letting her guard down around Alya. Pushing the thought aside for now, Lucina figured she could ask later if she was capable of magic and the like. For now she needed to focus on the conversation that she had started. From the sounds of it the girl confirmed that she was not a servant of this place. That was to be expected. Given the way she was dressed that came as no surprise at all. Still that didn't answer the second part of her question. It was still possible that she hailed from this place although from the way she spoke, she was beginning to doubt such a thing. Pushing that aside though, she quirked a brow as Alya requested for her to say who she was but not offer up any information on herself. It was a strange way of going about things and made Lucina wary to given a straight answer. She could always introduce herself as Marth as she had become accustomed to in her own timeline as well as when she first encountered her father and the Shepherds. In this place it seemed meaningless though. Perhaps she was being too petty over such a small thing. It wouldn't be proper of her to dodge the situation because of that alone.
Snapping from such thoughts, the last words the girl spoke were ones that caught her interest. A villain? She had no clue what she was referring to. Maybe it was Master A? Was it fair to call him a villain though? He may have kidnapped them, but it didn't seem to be for anything harmful. Then again taking someone of royal blood was a crime in itself even if she had been in the past of her own timeline. She couldn't justify that as enough to deem him a proper villain though. Such people were far worse than this. Perhaps the term she would use was fiend or bandit though she couldn't be sure those suited him either. Truly it was hard to say what title fit someone like Master A. Such things probably weren't important though. The one thing the question did bring light to was that this girl was not of this world. Perhaps she shouldn't have been so quick to judge her seconds prior and waited for her to finish. It was a good thing she hadn't spoken up about such a thing thus could keep it to herself. Realizing that she had been quiet for far too long, Lucina finally gave a small bob of her head at Ayla's last words before finally speaking, "That is right. I was brought here as well, although I can not say for certain that it was by a villain." The way she spoke was rather proper and its underlying tone was serious. Such a thing was common of the princess. Most considered her cold or even stiff because of it, but she did not mind. This was how her life had shaped her and there wasn't much she could do to change that. Hopefully the other wouldn't be bothered too much by such a thing. Overthinking it wouldn't do her any good though thus she pushed it to the back of her mind and instead decided that she should move on to her introduction. Straightening her posture, Lucina allowed a faint smile to cross her lips as an attempt to appear friendly. "And to answer your question of who I am, I am Lucina, princess of the Halidom Ylisse," she began, taking a moment to give a small, yet polite bow. "And whom might you be?"

────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Life had been nothing but the same thing day in and day out. Claude would wake in the morning and ready himself before going to his usual classes at the monastery. Things were at least interesting under the teachings of the new professor and he greatly admired Byleth for the work that they did though they had only been teaching for a short period of time. Nevertheless, to take on such a role at a rather young age was impressive. If he were in their shoes, he would have been hesitant to do such a thing, but he supposed Byleth wished to move away from the life of a mercenary for awhile. That was a shame, but he could tell that his professor still was always willing to stand up and battle when needed. That showed whenever they were tasked with a mission. Byleth was always at the lead alongside him. As house leader he was expected to lead his housemates in such exercises, but admittedly he appreciated when their professor stepped in to aid as well. They had experience that he could learn from in battle and he respected that. Feeling himself begin to stir, Claude's eyes slowly fluttered open as a soft yawn escaped his lips. Here was to another day of his life at the academy or so that was what he expected to be greeted by. Instead he was met with unfamiliar surroundings. This wasn't the room he boarded in at the academy. Actually, it looked nothing like his usual room. It was much larger and brighter as well. The over all feeling of it reminded him of some of the places he had stayed though and for one it wasn't much of his taste, but that was beside the point. He still had no idea where he was or what was going on. Maybe this was some test that the professor was putting him through. It seemed like an odd thing to do, but he wouldn't count it out. There was always a possibility that he would need to be prepared for waking up in strange places especially if he was to be kidnapped during a battle or something along those lines. Now that he thought about it, it was possible this could be a kidnapping as well and not en exercise.
Looking around the room, Claude felt oddly relaxed given his situation. There was no need to panic. If things were bad, then he would have been in a much worse place, but that was not the case. He was in a neat room that seemed to pose no immediate danger to him. That was a good thing. However, he could never be too careful. Things could always be deceiving. Keeping that in mind, he climbed from the bed and allowed his eyes to do a quick sweep of the room. Nothing looked out of the ordinary. The furniture was a bit odd compared to what he was used to seeing, but that seemed unimportant in the given moment. What caught his attention was the small room that was attached to the bedroom. Moving towards it, he peered inside and cocked his head. It was a room he had never seen before and he wasn't entirely sure what it was used for either. Moving towards the sink, he stared at it with a look of confusion before reaching for the knob and twisting it. As the water turned on, his eyes lit up. Never before had he seen anything like this before. It was incredible. Still, it didn't seem overly important at the moment. Turning the faucet off once again, Claude exited the attached bathroom and moved back into the bedroom. That was when his eyes settled upon the letter that was on the back of his door. How he had missed it before? He wasn't entirely sure. What mattered now was that he had come across it and it probably had some answers he was seeking. With his focus now set it on it, he read it over. As he did so the expression on his face began to twist from the usual smirk he wore to a faint frown. Everything that he was hard for him to take in. His training could have never prepared him for a game like this and he wasn't fond of the idea of a romance game in the first place. The rest of the events were normal for him though. Balls and the like were events that took place at the academy although to a lesser extent. Nevertheless, he wasn't overly concerned by needing to attend them or even to dress up although he would expect his usual noble attire to do for such a thing.
Setting the note aside, the young noble averted his eyes to the dresser in the room. Next to it he saw his bow along with other belongs from home. Even his uniform was neatly hung up waiting for him to change into it. How kind of Master A to do such a thing for him. Scoffing softly at the thought, he gave his head a small shake before approaching it, Claude took his uniform down and began changing into it, Once he was done, he took another look at the bow and decided against grabbing it. Such a decision might be dangerous in the future, but given that the castle didn't sound like much of a threat, he figured he would be fine without a weapon. Besides, he only planned on wandering the castle grounds for now and find others who had been pulled into this situation to see if they could think up a scheme together to get out of this place. Of course his schemes would involve no violence. That was what he wished to avoid at all costs. With a plan in mind, he stepped towards the door of his room and slipped out into the hallway while being as quiet as he could. As much as he wished to find others, he didn't want to draw any unnecessary attention to himself, thus he made a careful effort to keep his footsteps as soft as possible. Finding his way to what appeared to be the castle's entrance, Claude came to a stop and stared at the large doors before him. Oddly they reminded him of the ones all around the monastery. As curious as he was to see what lied beyond them, he knew he couldn't venture out yet. It was possible there were dangers that awaited him if he did so and he was far more curious as to whom he might meet in this place than what the outside world was like. There was always more than enough time to explore if he was going to be stuck in this place for awhile. Turning his back to the doors, his gaze quickly scanned the entrance hall and he tried to listen for any voices that might come drifting down the halls, but it was to no avail. He was met by nothing other than silence which was unsettling.
"Maybe I am the only one here," he mumbled to himself. That was what he was starting to believe at least. With no sign of another being or even a sound, he was beginning to wonder how this game was going to work if he was the only one that was present. If that was true then that was poor planning on Master A's part and unlucky of him to get pulled into such a thing when he had far better things to do. Letting a soft sigh escape his lips, Claude placed a hand on his hip and allowed his shoulders to slump. "What a pain this is going to be if things keep going like this." He wasn't one who enjoyed wasting time with such things although he was a rather carefree spirit. Still, he rather be spending his time focusing on his training at the academy with his classmates. At least that kept him busy and allowed him enough freedom that he didn't feel too tied down while he was there. Besides, there were plenty of interesting students around that made living there enjoyable although some of them were hard to get along with. Pushing the thought of the academy out of his mind, he knew he needed to focus on his mission at hand. That was exactly what the professor would tell him to do. Byleth always had that kind of mindset and he greatly admired them for it. Even without their guidance, he would do his best to follow those teachings. Feeling his mood rise a bit, Claude decided to continue his exploration. Where it would take him, he would just have to wait and see. Dropping his hand from his hip, he pushed himself forward yet again this time in a random direction. After a few moments of walking in silence, the archer found himself at the entrance of what appeared to be a library. Peering inside, his eyes widened. There must have been thousands of books that lined the shelves and it left him in awe. It sure put the academy's library to shame. "Now this is some place I could get some information from."
As a smirk formed on the boy's lips, he approached one of the book shelves and began running his finger over the spines of the books before him while quietly uttering the names of each one. There had to be something here that could help him learn of this place. Everything he came across seemed to be nothing but fiction though or so he assumed. At the rate he was going, he was going to be stuck here all day. He supposed that wasn't the worst thing that could happen although it put a halt in his plan to find others. That was the sacrifice that needed to be made in order to gain knowledge. With that mindset in place, Claude continued his search in silence hoping that soon enough he would find something of interest.

❝ こわくないよ!❞
──────────────xlemres ✢ 18 ✢ tags: ahri sort of, claude ✢ location: library
The moment Ahri sent the lollipop careening out of his hand is when Lemres realized that this lady was one of those troublemaking types, the ones that are like a fusion of Amitie and Raffina, but minus the pleasantries. Lemres stood there dumbly, frozen in his "candy-offering-pose" as the kitsune went on about her diet. However, he managed to shift back to a regular standing posture as he was explained the purpose of this ball - something about love? "I don't think I'm pursuing love anytime soon," he mumbled under his breath, not caring that he worried aloud.
His slight shakiness was offset by the sight of Kiko lapping away at the lollipop. So he did end up bringing a smile to someone's face - how wonderful! All negative thoughts were immediately dispelled, just like that - it was the end that justified the means! ...But even still, Ahri seemed like one that Lemres was better off avoiding - there was something about the power around her that made him uneasy, and he still needed to find some sweets to get his energy up. Perhaps if he found an opportunity..?
"Sa-yo-na-ra!" Lemres chanted, conjuring up an ice-cream sundae (as requested) and placing it on the floor before disappearing in a poof of fluffy clouds. Obviously, the green mage wasn't a master of teleportation at the very slightest (preferring broom riding), so his form of escape was just running away. He skittered rather clumsily around the winding halls, coming to a halting stop at a large pair of double doors. Oh, a library! It was no different from the Precise Museum in good ol' Primp Town - and it was the perfect hiding place from a sassy kitsune, judging by the fact that characters such as Rulue and Raffina tended to avoid such institutions.
His running gait turned into a gentle and steady stroll as he admired the books lining the walls. Some were classical literature, others were prose - the master of this house really was a romantic. Lemres continued to gaze at the seemingly endless walls of text, not noticing where he was going - and oh-so-gracefully tripping over someone's... shoe? Leg? Entire body? Well, there was no time to determine that, because the comet warlock started on his feet...
And landed back-first onto the ground. "Ahh..." Lemres breathed, rubbing his back as he attempted to get up. No candy for the past few hours meant his energy was low - how could he have miscalculated so poorly?! He looked up - it was a boy with tan skin and hair that had the color of sweet dark chocolate. He looked rather fancy - perhaps he worked here, or even lived here? Unfortunately, all Lemres could stutter out was a "M-my mistake," before flopping back on the floor again.
Sweet.

Ex awoke with a slight start - when was the last time he was on a comfortable bed and not the marble floors of the Gates of Spacetime? Despite his shock, he managed to worm his way out of the blankets and pillows, but immediately stumbled as soon as his foot hit the floor. Ah, normal gravity. He hadn't experienced that for a while - what with floating around in space and all. Luckily, he grasped the side of a table to balance himself out, shakily rising up and taking a few deep breaths.
For one reason or another, this Master A had reached out to him and invited him to this place - something about finding love. Ex couldn't help but sigh and give a reluctant smile - what in the world made him to believe that he'd achieve something like finding love, especially when people didn't remember him in the first place? The man concurred that he was simply in a dream plane - if he walked around, no one would notice him, so it was due time to just explore and make the best of the dream. He ignored the fact that it was mandatory to dress for the ball, after all, no one would see him, right? He opened the windows to a beautiful sight of the grotto in the garden, roses lacing the bushes and hydrangeas spilling out of their leaves. "How marvelous," the silver-haired Keeper breathed, childish wonder seeping into his voice.
The trip to the garden was uneventful, other than the slight stumble now and then. Ex passed by many different people, but shrugged it off as part of a dream - if they noticed him, they'd say something. And they didn't, so now here he was, at the garden's gates - gently pushing the iron bars open, he stepped onto the slightly dewy grass and allowed himself to breathe.

[ ♂ ]yiitt⋆ Stiles Stilinski ⋆ 17 ⋆ Male ⋆ Teen Wolf (TV) ⋆ His room ⋆ Tags; Zed
bidoosh──── “ʏᴏᴜ ʀᴇᴀʟʟʏ ʜᴀᴠᴇ ᴛᴏ ʟᴇᴀʀɴ ɴᴏᴛ ᴛᴏ ᴛʀᴜsᴛ ᴀ ғᴏx. ᴍᴍᴍᴍ-ᴍᴍᴍ.”
There he was, just standing right next to the bed as some cool looking guy demolished the bedroom. There was debris all across the room and dust still hanging in the air from when the guy kicked down the wall. Stiles took yet another deep breath, squeezing his eyes shut as he unclenched his fists. He hated this, the whole standing around doing nothing. He felt helpless in times like this when he’s coming down from short moments of panic. He wouldn’t call what had happened to him as a panic attack, no. It wasn’t his typical experience with one where he would hyperventilate and occasionally get to the point he simply couldn’t breathe. He was still able to walk around and move, albeit he was a bit wobbly for a bit. Then again, it was entirely possible for that to be an attack, just one he’s never experienced. It would make much more sense yet at the same time, it just left him clueless. Once he opened his eyes and looked around the room, his mind wandered. All of this ruin in a place like this, the destruction the new guy had caused, there was no way any of it was real. No one was rich enough to own a place with rooms like this and there definitely wasn’t a castle in Beacon Hills. It was entirely possible there was one nearby he’d never heard of, but that would be highly unlikely. Stiles had personally researched as much as he could about the small town and the supernatural events and creatures surrounding it. Nowhere did he ever come across a castle of sorts. The only thing close enough to the sheer idea of a palace was the old mansion the Argents lived in. They ended up selling the place and moving into an apartment after the situation with Allison’s mom and aunt though.
There was no way this place could be real, right? Yeah he only has ten fingers and can read perfectly fine, but maybe it was his brain adapting? He could always try pinching himself or getting hurt in some way... no. No, that did work in the basement of that building. Even then, Stiles couldn’t tell if that was a genuine memory or if it were a dream since he had woken up in the coyote den. It was all difficult to process and the guy rampaging in his room dressed up like he’s from World of Warcraft or League of Legends really isn’t helping! To be honest, it had gotten to the point he couldn’t keep himself from admiring the much taller guy. He really did look like he came or if a video game and it was mesmerizing yet so terrifying. Almost as terrifying as Derek Hale. No one was worse than the Sourwolf™️. The beta was by far the most intimidating dude he’d ever met and no amount of insisting he isn’t afraid of the guy ever helped him out. Plus, if he had anything to say about it, there was a ninety-six percent chance this guy is nowhere near as good looking as the beta. Yes, he’s allowed to think that, after all he has been better about Lydia recently. But then again, the guy was old enough to have sex with Allison’s aunt. Yeah, no. Although Stiles was pretty sure this guy was older than Derek by a long shot if he based it on the guy’s frame. Or was he younger? God, he didn’t know anymore.
When the guy made eye contact with him, the brunette took an instinctive few steps back. Their eyes were off, aside from the glowing blue of course. Something about the way the guy looked at him, how they held his gaze. It caused Stiles to glance at the wall just behind the taller one, not entirely enjoying the intimidation, especially when the man’s blades shot back out from where they’d been sheathed. The action made the teen jump and mutter “oh my god,” before quickly composing his cool. At least they had put the blades back away before they decided he would be the next thing they slashed to pieces. Stiles’ attention was soon pulled away from the guy’s hands when they started to speak. The way they spoke intrigued him, causing his attempt of a neutral expression — that more or less was a terrible try at hiding the fact he got scared — to shift to one of curiosity. The guy, Zed, referred to himself as “we”. That sheer fact had piqued Stiles’ interest in the guy. He’d never experienced that sort of tense before, at least from someone else. The only times he had heard of such referral were his instances with the nogitsune. The way it spoke to him when he dreamed or when it appeared in his vision, the way he had spoken to Kira’s mother in the hospital. The experience that came with his own use of the tense made the teen begin to worry, his eyes widening as he stared up at Zed. Was this another trick of the nogitsune? Another form it took to try and get into his mind? It made perfect sense, it explained why it disappeared when the tall guy barged in. This thought made his expression harden. He even opened his mouth to say something about it when he heard a “tsk tsk” to his side.
Stiles immediately jerked his head to look over at where he heard the sound. Only a few feet away stood the nogitsune, its head tilted to the side with its disgusting silver teeth exposed in a grin. It watched him as it twitched, slowly walking towards Zed, pulling the boy’s attention with it. If the guy was there and the nogitsune was walking separate from Zed, that completely debunked his thoughts. Doing his best to hide his split few seconds of panic, Stiles looked back up at the guy, doing his best to ignore the figure he knew the taller man couldn’t see. At this rate, people ought to think he’s insane for what he’s seeing. He would definitely agree with that idea. After all, who with a healthy mind would hallucinate about a guy dressed in World War II clothing and covered in burn bandages? Not him, because he definitely doesn’t have a healthy mind. The creature seemed to find amusement in Stiles’ sudden nervousness, even sitting on the bed without making an indentation just to watch. The boy shifted on his feet, his pulse raising with the amount of time the spirit watched him. He hated it so much.
The teen was thankful for the fact that Zed had started to talk again. He was now able to focus on the guy rather than the nogitsune and it was so much better. He then cleared his throat in hopes to regain his composure and cement his sanity. That, and he had no idea what to say in response at first and didn’t want to cause any awkward silence. ”I, uh, yeah. I don’t know who this Master A guy is,” he said, focusing his attention just below Zed’s eyes. ”I’m Stiles and I honestly have no idea what I’m going to do. I mean, I don’t plan on instantly trying to kill Master A.” It would be a good idea to go find the host of this game so that he could figure our what was going on, but at the same time, he had no idea where he could start looking.
The nogitsune had disappeared, at least from where Stiles had last seen him. He could still feel the creature’s presence though, which scared him. He could tell that it seemed displeased with his remark about not wanting to go straight for Master A, and it made him wonder what exactly they wanted. It turned out he would learn quickly, because a pair of bandaged hands grabbed onto the area between his neck and shoulder on either side from behind. He could feel its hot breath as it leaned in and tended where he stood, doing his best to keep looking forward. “We should find Albus,” it hissed. ”We know a thing or two about how to deal with people like him, and this guy seems like he could be useful. Maybe we could find a way to separate him from his armor, get rid of those blades. After all, who knows when he’ll just rip us to shreds with them?” Stiles inhaled sharply at the nogitsune’s words, shaking his head ever so slightly. He then quietly muttered his disagreement, his mind racing with all sorts of “why”’s. The nogitsune terrified him, especially when it held onto him like it did now.

Zed huffed, shaking and brushing off any debris and splinters that got onto him when he rampaged the entire room and destroyed whatever he could get his hands on. He was still listening and sharply perceiving the young boy in front of him, his eyes lingering and giving a sharp glare towards the other. He didn't suspect anything. To him, the kid just seemed off. Fear and anxiety were something he was used to in the presence of others. The way he said something under his breath, though, made Zed squints, the trail of blue from his eyes thinning. The ninja tilted his head, wondering. He's not sure what he thinking about as different thoughts formed inside his mind, all from different perspectives. "Stiles." Zed muttered the name the boy introduced himself as. Zed wondered if the whole killing thing would be an out of the question thing for mortals. They appreciate life and are passive beings with morality. Zed had no use for that, he does what needs to be done, no matter the cost or action. Right now, he finds Stiles to not be useful if he wasn't going to go along with Zed. Not that Zed cared, being by his lonesome is something he was used to. Zed approached Stiles, getting closer and closer before he stopped mere inches away. "Was that decision made because you have other plans or because you are a coward?" Zed's emotionless voices had a hint of anger in it, not directed towards Stiles but to the action that he may take. He took a few steps backwards, keeping the eye contact before turning away after the fourth step. He stared at the door before him. He can't actually open doors with his claws. So he did the second proper way to open one.
Zed punched a hole through the thick wooden door, merely using his own fist and not his blades. His thumb went back to the room's side as he ripped the separator between him and the hallways off it's hinges. The wood broke due to the force but the doorway was clear. He didn't care for the mess and destruction, it wasn't his problem. Zed threw the mangled door back inside the room, close to Stiles but just barely missing him on purpose. "We don't care what you do, but if you intend to follow us, don't be a liability." Zed said one last time before heading out of the room, pausing for a few seconds to observe the surroundings. There's more people around and it made Zed frustrated. He's not a people person. No, he prefers them not breathing.

Hana Song
x ⤷ overwatch » nineteen » tag; ren
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
It was a pleasant surprise to have the person she bumped into and wrongly blamed him for the collision accept it and even apologise for it. At least that helped the MEKA pilot relax slightly, it was good to be with somebody who wasn’t aggressive and he didn’t seem to be offended by Hana’s accusation and general hostility upon walking into him. Feeling a surge of guilt for being so rude to somebody who, so far at least, seemed pretty polite, Hana took a step away from him to give him a little more personal space and lifted a hand to rub the back of her head sheepishly, “It was my fault, not yours.” She huffed apologetically, glancing up at the stranger, “Sorry I’m just…” Hana paused momentarily, trying to think of a good enough reason for snapping at a complete stranger for something he wasn’t even at fault for, “I’m just confused about what’s going on.” It wasn’t the best excuse ever but it was something at least, right? She hoped that the other teenager would find it a good enough reason and understand why she acted so rudely considering he was presumably in the exact same situation as she was, although he didn’t seem nearly as startled as she was. That rose a few questions in Hana’s mind, did that mean he possibly wasn’t in the same predicament as she was? Perhaps he worked at the castle or he was working alongside the man that was behind all of this. At that thought, she looked the boy up and down for a moment, trying to figure out whether the theory was believable; he seemed nice enough so she doubted that he would be behind something like the love game in the castle and he didn’t seem to have any malicious intent so far otherwise she assumed he’d react badly to her accusations. Then again, she knew that looks could be deceiving so she shouldn’t risk becoming too comfortable with someone just because of the fact that they made a good first impression and didn’t appear to be dangerous. In fact, she struggled to find anything that was out of the ordinary about him which was strange; she was expecting people to have something interesting about them considering she was one of the victims, why would they range from trained MEKA pilots to average people with nothing special about them? Of course, she didn’t mean that with much offense to the stranger, she was just unsure why she would be clumped with average people although she supposed she hardly looked like much at that point, she didn’t even have her pink whiskers painted onto her cheeks and she was in casual wear. When considering her outfit, Hana briefly glanced down at herself and studied her clothing choice; it wouldn’t offer much protection if there was anything dangerous waiting for them in the castle but she couldn’t recall any dangers mentioned in the letter other than Albus himself and his consequences. She would just need to avoid getting on his bad side, then.
The chances of the teenager somehow being behind the whole predicament were quickly shattered at the first thing he said after apologising. I assume you are one of the guests here as well. So he was in the same situation as Hana was? But he was certainly handling it much better than she was, seemingly unfazed by everything going on, remaining calm even after having a stranger yell at him for something he didn’t do. That calmness reminded Hana of a specific omnic monk that she had met a few times before while working alongside Overwatch although he never seemed bothered by much which made Hana unable to help but admire him for it. He certainly lived up to the ‘zen’ in his name. Realising that she had spent long enough in her thoughts so she ought to actually reply to the question, Hana bobbed her head in confirmation, “Yeah, I am. From the sounds of it we should expect a lot of people.” She responded. The letter seemed like it was meant for multiple people and the nightly balls would probably only be best with a crowd rather than only a few different people and, from the sounds of it, Albus probably brought in a range of people if he was expecting people to fall in love. That was a concept Hana still struggled to believe could become reality. Falling in love took long enough as it was but being forced into a situation to fall in love would make it even harder, she was sure there were going to be plenty of people who wouldn’t want to give Albus what he wanted in retaliation to being pulled from their homes and placed in a castle to take part in some stupid game of love. She hadn’t realised that she didn’t offer her name until the other teenager beat her to it, introducing himself as Ren. That was a name which was easy enough to remember, she supposed. “My name is Hana.” She replied, deciding against mentioning the callsign D.VA, there was no need to mention it, after all, and she couldn’t help but doubt that her MEKA-assigned mech suit would be accompanying her in the castle, it was a game to find love not a game to fight people so there was no need to provide a massive suit of armour. It was disappointing but she supposed there was no point in complaining about it or letting it get to her, it wouldn’t help her gain anything.
“What do you think of this whole thing, then?” Hana inquired, “Any sort of plan to get out of here? Falling in love hardly sounds easy.” She snorted after continuing, rolling her eyes at the requirement to leave the castle and to get home. She was hoping that Ren would have a better plan than she did, which at that point was absolutely nothing so anything would be good enough. There was no telling how good or bad he was at planning things but by how calm he was the pilot assumed he would have probably been able to clear his thoughts and think of some kind of plan. Perhaps that was hopeful thinking, though. Just because someone was calm didn’t mean they were smart or good at planning things.
Yuki Soma
x ⤷ fruits basket » seventeen » tag; ruby, ringo
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
It was pleasing to hear Ruby return the polite gesture, prompting a soft smile from the Soma, while it may only be a small gesture it was a nice one that he appreciated. When the other teenager agreed with him and recommended possible pastimes while waiting for the nightly ball, Yuki bobbed his head in acknowledgement; interacting and exploring the castle didn’t sound like a bad idea at all and he certainly found Ruby to be pleasant enough company so he wouldn’t mind spending some more time with her; he could think of worse people to be stuck with, after all. “Not everything was thought out, I suppose.” He commented, “Albus did mention a village that we could visit but go no further beyond that otherwise there would be consequences. I’d prefer not to find out what those consequences could be.” He chuckled softly after he spoke, assuming that Ruby would share the preference to not get in trouble with Albus, or at least he was hoping that was the case. He turned slightly to begin walking off and down the hall, not exactly having a plan of where he would go in mind but he stopped himself, it could be rude to leave so suddenly without letting his companion know, there was also the fact that the other teenager had began speaking again; Yuki wouldn’t want to walk away while someone was talking to him. So she preferred to be called Ruby rather than Miss Rose? He supposed that wasn’t surprising, a lot of people his age would prefer to avoid formality where it technically wasn’t needed but it was still going to be an uncommon thing for him to drop the formality. “Ah, alright. I will call you Ruby then, if you prefer that.” He responded, smiling, before listening to her question as to where they should start to explore first. At that moment he placed a hand on his stomach as there was a soft rumble, laughing nervously, “I suppose the kitchen could be a good start.” As he turned again to begin walking away, he was startled to find yet another girl that seemed to be around the same age as him and Ruby. Yuki staggered slightly to stop himself from walking directly into the other girl and to be safe once he was steady he took a small step back to avoid any unwanted run-ins. While he was quite sure his family wasn’t at the castle he preferred to continue keeping the family secret for his own sake, being a rat would hardly help him in the situation and he struggled to predict how those around him could react to it; in his experiences, though, the reactions were usually going to be negative, and there was only one exception to that.
Instantly the stranger made it clear that she had no idea what was going on either, but he assumed that she had enough sense reading through the note that was presumably provided to her as well. “Hello,” Yuki greeted warmly, figuring it was the best way to start the interaction and keep the atmosphere friendly, that could help reassure the stranger, perhaps, since she had initially sounded nervous when approaching Ruby and Yuki. “I wouldn’t mind helping you.” He continued, then made a gesture towards himself and Ruby, “In fact, the both of us were hoping to find some answers as well and explore the castle to find anything of interest.” Lifting a hand to his chest to gesture to himself once again, “My name is Yuki Soma, it is a pleasure to meet you, miss.” He introduced himself politely, “What is your name, if you don’t mind my asking?”
Kyo Soma
x ⤷ fruits basket » seventeen » tag; shantae, tokaku
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Once he heard a voice speaking to him which sounded like it didn’t belong to the person inside the room he was banging on the door of, Kyo leapt up in surprise, orange hair standing on end and bristling for a moment before he turned to face the owner of the voice, coming to see a girl who appeared to be around his age, with both blue hair and eyes and shorter than him only by a couple of inches and dressed in a white collared shirt with a blue tie, and a blue plaid skirt, looking like something you would typically find for a school uniform, although he supposed the same could be said of his clothing choice too. He stepped back and away from her as she spoke, backing up until his back collided with the wall beside the door he was previously knocking on. “H-hey!” He exclaimed, frowning and relaxing his posture from being so tense, “I knew there would be other people! I just thought maybe someone would have a better idea of what’s going on!” He responded defensively, crossing his arms as he quickly averted his eyes and looked away. At that moment he heard some movement from inside the room, showing that the person inside must have woken up by now, that wasn’t surprising considering how loudly Kyo had been banging on the door but so far he hadn’t heard the person inside respond at all. Were they just ignoring him? Perhaps it was an overreaction but it still managed to irritate him how there was the possibility that the person inside had the nerve to just ignore him and take their time to come out of the room. He decided against banging on the door again, though, especially now that this other person was with him; he didn’t want to deal with an absolute stranger criticizing him, the initial surge of anger that accompanied waking up in the situation had passed now, after all. He huffed and folded his arms over his chest, taking a step further from the door so he could at least still see it but it eliminated the chance of whoever was inside bumping into him as soon as they walked out, if it was another girl it would hardly be easy to make up a cover story for the curse and the transformation.
Noticing the door being opened, Kyo shifted his position slightly to get a better look at whoever walked out, being met with a girl who was rather short compared to him and the other girl, with tanned skin, purple hair and blue eyes. The appearance seemed relatively average until it came to the clothing choice. For taking so long due to having “a lot to put on” as she claimed, it hardly looked like it considering how little coverage her clothing offered, prompting Kyo to avert his gaze quite quickly, slightly uncomfortable around the stranger who also seemed to be around his age. “Doesn’t look like a lot to put on if you ask me.” He grumbled, studying the wall beside him rather than keeping eye contact with the newer girl. Just his luck not finding other guys. Despite looking away from her, he’d noticed that she appeared far too...friendly to have any ulterior motives which meant she probably wasn’t behind the whole situation either; that ultimately made him knocking on her day a completely pointless task. The casual seeming question of why the two of them were at her door confused Kyo, was she completely oblivious to what was going on? Or was she just completely fine with what was going on? Either way, it was strange how ready she was to just accept the room as her own. Realising his assumptions about her knowing anything more about the predicament that he did were wrong, he quickly began to figure out some kind of other excuse for disturbing her - he didn’t want to admit that he had jumped to a conclusion so quickly, that’d just make him sound stupid. But what other excuses were there for banging on the door? Raising a hand to scratch the back of his head, the Soma frowned and shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly, “Nothing.” He began, wincing at how poor of an excuse that was, “Was just...wondering what other people were here.” Kyo continued, bringing himself to look at the stranger again, focusing on her face, “Thought you might know something about what was going on but I guess you don’t.” With that he dropped his arm again and shoved his hands into the pockets of his trousers. He knew that the other girl that was there would know his real reason for bothering the other teenager so perhaps it was best to get out of the way before that was revealed, he wasn’t sure if the girl would point out his overreaction but he didn’t want to stick around to find out. Muttering something under his breath, he slouched slightly as he trudged past the door with his hands still in his pockets, “Whatever, I’ll find someone else.” He kept the dismissive statement brief, figuring he’d face no opposition to his exit; he doubted someone would willingly keep travelling with the guy who kept banging on their door, after all. He probably wouldn’t, besides, the purple-haired girl seemed much friendlier and overall nicer so better company for the first girl to approach him.
Clementine
x ⤷ the walking dead » sixteen » tag; zed, stiles
────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────
Clementine wasn’t finding sleep easy, she never did to be honest, there were always some kind of worries or problems that would plague her mind while trying to settle down for the night. There were plenty of things to be worried about, though. Even though she had helped to eliminate the threat of the Delta and she was sure that Lilly wouldn’t be returning after AJ emptied half a clip into her, Clementine couldn’t help but still be worried about the school she had started to call home. She was responsible for them, now. She couldn’t bear to lose yet another group so she was trying her hardest to try and keep this one safe, although she had been doing so since she stumbled across it. Even if at the start she was only helping to make sure she kept a roof over her head and temporarily lost that when AJ killed Marlon, she had grown close to the other kids there. They’d been through a lot in the short time they knew each other, after all. They’d lost a lot. A lot of people didn’t make it or suffered lifelong injuries. Clementine couldn’t help but feel like that was on her. It was her fault for not being prepared enough. Although she supposed that was just part of leading a group in the apocalypse. You win some, you lose some; you gain new members and lose old ones; they could be your closest friends or your greatest enemies. Lilly could apply to that last one. She used to be close to Clementine but after killing Carley and betraying the group after it trusted her again. Then she came back, stealing children from a small community settled into a school, expecting Clementine to join a group of kidnappers, threatening AJ to try and get what she wanted. Criticising Lee. It was unforgivable and Clem had no qualms with AJ dealing with her although she couldn’t help but worry that she was shaping AJ up to being a murderer. The last thing Clementine wanted was to be a bad role model for such an impressionable child but she at least knew she could trust him. He knew how to make the hard decisions. He would do what was necessary, even if Clementine disagreed with him. He was the reason she was even still alive; albeit she did still lose a leg in the process. At least she was no stranger to losing body parts but losing a finger could hardly be compared to losing almost half of her leg.
Once she began to stir, Clementine quickly realised that she wasn’t in her own bed that was back at the school, this one was far more comfortable and had almost silky sheets rather than the thin cotton ones she was used to, although she never bothered with sleeping under the covers, if anything bad were to happen then covers would make it harder to escape but she supposed that she wouldn’t be able to escape anything without help due to her reliance on others. She was a liability on the school, at least in her mind, so she was surprised they tried to hard to keep her alive after the loss of her leg. AJ explained to her what had happened when she woke up, he managed to bandage and cauterise the wound, he managed to get her back to school using just a wheelbarrow. She was proud of him. She wouldn’t imagine ever doing something like that at his age but she knew that he had to grow up quickly, he was so mature that sometimes it was easy to forget he was only a child. That was also why she thought the school was a good atmosphere for him, surrounded by kids rather than adults. Louis was a good friend for AJ too until AJ had to shoot him. Clementine was sure he probably wouldn’t get over that one anytime soon, although he already suffered enough bad memories. A sigh escaped her at those thoughts. She couldn’t protect him, not really at least. He’d seen the horrors of the world far too quickly, he’d grown up far too quickly. He almost had to deal with loss far too quickly. It was no time to ponder on that though as she knew for sure that the school hadn’t found new beds nor new bedsheets so why was she so comfortable? She stretched her arms before pushing herself up into a sitting position, twisting and swinging her legs over the edge of the bed. Once she opened her eyes she instantly had her assumptions confirmed, she wasn’t at the school. Where was she, though?
Clementine studied the change of scenery closely, panic rising in her chest until she noticed metal crutched leaned up against the wall by the bed, they were far more well made than the wooden ones she had been using and appeared to have patterns engraved in them and small gemstones embedded into the side in a neat line, running from the top to the bottom. That was unsettling, how did they have such good quality items in this place? There was also the question as to why crutches were provided, if the people behind this had any slither of malicious intent surely they would make it harder for her to move rather than provide upgraded crutches. She wasn’t going to complain about that, though. She pushed herself up onto her foot and placed a hand on the bed frame to help steady herself before reaching out for the crutches, straining and struggling for a moment or two until finally managing to grab them. Now that mobility was less of an issue for the sixteen year old, she began to explore the contents of the room, beginning with the bedside table. Opening the drawers to investigate the contents, she was relieved to find her colt and hunting knife inside yet also puzzled, again things were provided to her which usually wouldn’t be in a typical kidnapping. Now that she was stood properly she also noticed her bow hooked over a pole found at the foot of the bed. Approaching the bow, and a quiver for arrows, she slipped them both over her shoulder, feeling more relaxed now that she had her weapons on her person too. Catching sight of herself in a mirror, she observed her clothing, they were mismatched pyjamas with the left trouser leg dangling where the rest of her leg used to be. Sucking in a breath, Clementine moved towards the wardrobe only to find a wide array of multiple ball gowns and dresses which were far better quality than anything Clementine had seen for years. Nothing was of good quality in the apocalypse, after all. Closing the wardrobe without a second thought, her gaze shifted to the chest of drawers found beside it. Perhaps she would have better luck at finding suitable clothes in there? Moving over to the dresser, she opened up the drawers and was relieved to find the content more practical and all seeming to be tailored to take her leg into account, the trouser legs stitched right about where her left leg ended. That was...strangely considerate and helpful. Deciding against passing up the offer of suitable clothes, Clementine bent down to grab a pair of brown jeans, belt with a holster and a denim blue shirt. She also noticed some shoes neatly lined against the wall, the right shoe for each rather than pairs. Having such a suitable room was strange but not unwelcome. While there weren’t any practical shoes like trainers or boots she settled with a black plimsoll.
Now that she was suitably dressed, Clementine noticed a letter taped onto the top of the dressed, tilting her head she went to grab it before hearing a commotion in the room beside her and some faint voices through the wall. Startled by that, Clementine’s hand immediately moved towards her gun but she had to return it to her crutch mere moments after to stop it from falling. Cursing softly, she eyed the door carefully and disregarded the note, it wasn’t important to her anymore, all she was worried about was the crashing she had heard nearby. Was a fight going on? Approaching the door slowly, she shifted her right crutch into her left hand so that she could grip the doorknob and slightly open the door before moving her hand back to her gun once more, taking it out just in case it was needed. Nudging the door open slightly to peer outside before fully opening it, Clementine was surprised to find a tall and heavily armoured man outside the door of the neighbouring room, or, well, what used to be a door which was now merely a bunch of wood and splinters. Although she had been prepared to fire her gun at the threat, she studied the stranger and quickly realised that a bullet probably would not do much to such a heavily armoured target. Upon reaching that realisation, Clementine lowered her weapon and returned it to its place, there was no need wasting bullets and getting herself in a tight situation she couldn’t get out of. Once the gun was returned to the holster she returned the other crutch to her hand, steadying herself considerably. She hoped the gesture would come off as friendly enough even if she initially started out threatening him with a gun. “Hey,” Clementine began to speak, making sure to keep her voice steady and not to give away any discomfort or fear around the stranger, “do you know what’s going on here?” In hindsight, perhaps she should have read the note that she had seen but it seemed too late now, hopefully she would have the situation explained to her rather than go through the effort of grabbing the sheet. There was safety in numbers and from the looks of it, hanging around someone heavily armoured with several blades would be as safe as she would be getting.

_____ ruby nodded, listening to yuki. when he mentioned the kitchen, it hit her that she hadn’t eaten since the night beforehand before she’d gotten dragged into this mess. she would’ve said something, in order to agree with the boy (she didn’t notice his awkward shuffle behind her), but was stopped when she saw (and heard) a stranger in front of her. was she already dressed up for the evening? ruby didn’t envy her—she remembered her time at beacon when they had that party and she’d worn heels. they were awful.
