Evangeline stayed slightly close to Hyland, watching the girl with a slightly nervous gaze. When Shawn spoke, she nodded, returning too to her old, nerdy, fact-loving self. "Around 5600 people die each year from falling out of trees." She blinked innocently, and tucked her broken glasses into her backpack.

Roxy Laughed, She was soon up and standing, She laughed a little. "Yeah That's taught me"She smiled. She put her fingerless gloved hand out, "Roxy Ritcher" She smiled. She Looked at every one a little parinoed.

Evangeline snorted quietly; sarcasm wasn't one of her favourites when it was directed to her. Well, it wasn't directly to her, but it still irked her. Sitting close to Hyland, she pulled her knees up to her chest, watching carefully.

Shawn nodded at Evangeline. "Yeah, it's a big number." He whistled some catchy tune he'd had stuck in his head. "Shawn Anderson." He said, shaking the girls hand. Shawn felt the need to sudeenly wash his hands. Mainly because millions of diseases were passed around by shaking hands.

Roxane frowned, and sat on the tree root's. She then rembered the party and wondered if she sould Bring it up, she did any way "Any-one here going to the Party?" She asked.

Evangeline saw Shawn's twitchy-ness and giggled; he was always so paranoid about, well, everything. She stood up and stretched, swinging her bag onto her back with a slight yawn. "We should probably get going, Shawn..." She said quietly, looking from Raliem to Hyland. "We'll be at the party tonight, uhm...Roxanne. It was nice to meet you all." She looked away shyly and rubbed her arm. "And, uhm, Hyland, Raliem...thanks for beating on Jake..." Eve bit her lip and looked to Hyland, blushing, but she turned away, hoping Shawn wouldn't tease her.

Shawn gave a slight wave to everyone. "See you." He said, jamming his hands into his pockets. He started to walk towards Evangeline's car. "You're so damn lucky you get a car." He laughed, glancing at her. He was planning on saving for one, but hadn't found a job with decent pay.

Evangeline cast one last glance to Hyland and bounded away, falling into pace with Shawn. "I didn't get it, I bought it. Between getting my truck and getting the apartment, I barely had money left over to feed myself." It was true, but she did have a job now, and she got fairly good pay, too. Even though clothing wasn't one of her high points, the high-end store she worked at gave out pretty decent pay; besides, she got a pretty awesome truck. She unlocked the passenger-side door of the 1950 Ford pickup, then trotted to the driver's side and hopped in.

Shawn nodded, opning the car door and sitting inside. He slammed the door and placed his backpack in his lap. "Don't you remember when we were all in like, the fifth grade, and all the cliques didn't exist? Everyone was friends with everyone...It just sucks how were weren't able to maintain that." He trailed off, gazing out the window. "I think we need to realize that if we stand apart like this, we're all surelly gonna drown in this world.'
