Another turn in the hall deposited the pair in front of the doors to the main gym, Thor pausing at the entrance. He shrugged a bit, tossing around the idea of separating the group of students before deciding against it. ”I see no reason to keep them apart. There are skills some may have that others do not and it could be to their benefit to interact with one another and sharpen themselves.” A strong but slow opponent could learn a lot from someone more agile, just as an adaptive individual may overpower one more rigid.

”Some students may also be unsure of what they’re proficient in. It’s best to be alright in many skills and best in a few.” His own weapons training, for instance, included all manner of swords, spears, axes, and more. Mjölnir, while his favored instrument, was no longer usable. Instead, he had Stormbreaker — stowed in the staff residence hall — which handled much differently. ”Being immovable and unadaptive won’t yield someone a better defender.”

At the question of his continued service to Earth, he smiled. It was his plan to still remain part of the Avengers, even as new members replaced the original ones. ”I do intend to be an Avenger for some centuries to come. Especially considering my people have settled here on Earth,” Thor gave a small sigh at this and scratched at his beard thoughtfully. ”Though, I am bound as Allfather to protect my own people first, I’ve sworn to protect Midgard and it’s people.”

The teen considered Thor's words. When he explained it like that, keeping all the students together in one class made sense. She felt silly for not thinking about the fact that the students could learn from one another's strengths and weaknesses. Then again, her training had specifically drilled a 'survival of the fittest' mindset into her. Helping others created threats. If they knew how you fought, they could learn to adapt to overpower you. If you helped them improve, they might surpass you in strength and ability.

She mentally shook the thoughts away, and redirected her focus to the doors in front of her. They lead to the main gym, which she had toured before, but did want to see again. She noticed that Thor had stopped, and so she stopped as well, though standing idle made her uneasy.

At his comment about remaining an Avenger for "some centuries to come" she almost cracked a smile. She found it amusing how time was so relative. To Thor, a couple more centuries was nothing, but for humans it was a long time. "I guess you'll get to see a few generations of Avengers cycle through," she said. Another comment surprised her though. "You're the Allfather now?" That was news. When had that happened? If she didn't know something as important as that, how much of her other information was outdated?

Pineapple pizza must have been indescribably good. This was the first time he’s met Milo and Robby was already trying new things. He really needed a person like this in his life. He lives his life wrapped up in his work and studies. Robby expected the Stark school to be a place where he can get even more into his toil. However, he got something that benefited his health; distracting him. He noticed her taking out her phone. “No, no,” he held out a hand to stop her, hovering over her phone. “I’ll order it.”
Robby’s cunning eyes locked into Milo’s. “Alex, does pineapple pizza sound good?” He asked seemingly no one. “Right away, sir.” A slightly muffled voice came from his back pocket but loud enough to hear the assistant. Alex was knowledgeable enough to know the nearest pizza delivery and Robby’s dorm number to contact the restaurant with all information. “What kind of soda do you like?” He asked Milo, smiling.

"Aurelio it is then," Olivia smiled. She hoped she hadn't offended him. She was sure there was an underlying reason but didn't want to press it anymore. "You can call me anything- Oli, Firecracker, Crazy." Olivia laughed. Her dad called her Firecracker for her red hair and loud personality. She missed her parents. That reminded her. She should probably text them. Olivia pulled out her phone and opened up a group chat with her mom and dad with her one free hand. She pressed the talk-to-text, "hey, guys, just wanted to let you know that I made it to the school. Talk later!" Olivia pressed send and put her phone away and continued walking with Aurelio. "Are you excited to start school tomorrow?" She squeaked at him.

Celeste spotted a bench underneath what seemed to be a large willow tree, she smiled as she headed over to it. Admiring the beauty of the tree, she plopped down onto the bench. Looking around, she was suprised not to see any students walking.

She sat there for a few minutes, spacing out and falling into her thoughts. As she grew more relaxed, the girl decided to practice the new meditation methods Stephen had taught to her. Crossing her legs, she sat directly under the tree, closing her eyes and relaxing.

He got a slight wistful look in his eyes as he thought about it, trying to pick just one myth or character or creature. Quite a few came to mind right away, so he couldn't just default to the first one that he thought of. "Well... I really like the Scottish mythological Loch Ness Monster, and kelpies. They're always interesting to read about..." he eventually settled, "The different interpretations of dragons in other cultures and countries is interesting as well." Ezekiel then nodded thoughtfully. "That's... fair enough." He said to her. There wasn't really a class for his abilities either, so he figured that he'd just use them or talk about them as little as possible. He, personally, had chosen to take just parkour as a 'hero class'. It was something he thought would be useful to learn, and he was quite drawn to the idea of being able to move about more quickly and efficiently on foot, around the cities.

When Nemo told her what her power was - shapeshifting - Ezekiel hesitated almost physically closing up again. He felt a little obligated to tell her his powers now. To him, everyone else's powers would be more appealing than his own. He debated with himself for a few moments, before giving in - she would find out anyway. "That sounds pretty cool. It's definitely better than paralysing people when you touch them. Which is what I do. And telekinesis." Ezekiel replied, drawing back a little, and he raised a gloved hand slightly to draw attention to it.

He breathed out a sigh of relief that he hadn't realised he'd been holding, relieved that Olivia had respected his request. "Thank you." Aurelio said, then he smiled slightly, when she gave him a list of nicknames for herself. He watched as she sent a message to who he assumed was her family, though as it wasn't really any of his business, he didn't have much interest in asking her about it.
When she asked him if he was excited for school starting, Aurelio didn't have to give it much thought. "Yeah, I am. It'll be interesting to meet all our classmates and find out what their abilities are." At this spark of excitement, his hands crackled a little with electricity.

Soon enough, they arrived at the female dorm corridor. He gestured down it. "Here we are. Your dorm should be down here somewhere." Aurelio said, just veering the conversation off just for a moment, to explain it, then he quickly returned the question to Olivia. "Are you looking forward to school starting?"

"Dragons are pretty cool," Nemo agreed, "Too bad I can't turn into one. That would be far more useful than anything I've managed so far." The thing about shapeshifting was that it took practice, and it took a lot of energy to sustain larger animals. She hoped that she would be able to practice here, and learn how to change into new animals.

When Ezekiel shared his own powers, Nemo tilted her head thoughtfully. "That's cool! How does the paralysis work? Is it a batrachotoxin, like a poison dart frog? Or does it somehow block signals sent through the nervous system?" Both of his powers sounded really neat, and definitely more useful in, say, a battle situation than hers. The ability to take out enemies with a simple touch was definitely valuable. It also explained the gloves in August. She appreciated the fact that he took that precaution. "Telekinesis must be pretty convenient. How strong is it?" Being the big Star Wars fan she was, she had always wished for the ability to 'use the Force' which she imagined must be similar to telekinesis. Realizing she was asking a lot of questions, and potenitally making Ezekiel uncomfortable, Nemo backtracked a little, her anxiety popping up again. "Oh, sorry, you don't have to answer any of those if you don't want to. I tend to get overly curious."

Putting her phone in her back pocket again, Milo raised an eyebrow at how Robby spoke to the air. For a split second, she considered that maybe she was being made fun of. But no, that was silly in its own right. She didn’t usually speak to Hypoxia in public, and even then Robby didn’t seem like the type to be jerkish like that. Aside from the drawing together of her dark brows for the moment she had considered the possible insult, she made no move to do anything. Then, “Alex” answered.

The host’s eyebrows shot up in surprise, brown eyes still locked with Robby’s in confusion. ”Um, anything is fine. I’m not picky on drinks.” She glanced about just briefly enough to be sure there wasn’t anyone else around. Just some stupid pigeons across the quad, but thankfully the Klyntar was too intent on figuring out the source of the man apparently ordering the pizza.

”So do you have an invisible butler, or a drone somewhere?” Milo looked skyward, partially to be sure but also to add to the ridiculous sounding question. Nothing but cloudless blue and a harsh, yellow disc.

The thunderer nodded an affirmative and opened the door for the girl — his mother hammered chivalry into his skull for most of his life, after all. ”I ascended to the throne after Ragnarok.” What a trip that was. So much happened in such a small span of time. Thor caught himself frowning at the brigade of memories. ”Ragnarok entailed the deaths of many and the destruction of my home planet. But still, Asgard prevails as a people and as New Asgard in Norway.”

He decidedly forewent mentioning Loki, knowing his presence on Earth was already unwelcome by Doctor Strange, much less a school of superheroes. As far as the thunderer knew, his brother was behaving himself on the other side of the Atlantic Ocean.

Skyler stepped through the door, immediately shifting to the side to make room for Thor and also to avoid having her back to him for longer than absolutely necessary. /Never turn your back./ She listened as he explained Ragnarok. That sounded awful, watching as your entire homeworld was destroyed. Loosing her family had been enough, she couldn't imagine what she would do if the entirety of earth was obliterated. "I'm... Sorry for your loss," she said awkwardly. She wasn't sure what else to say in such a situation. At least he seemed to be hopeful about the rebuild.

She let her eyes wander over the gym, memorizing it's layout and filing away every bit of potentially useful information. She noted the exact number of exits and their locations, as well as which parts of the gym were most visible to the doors. She also made note of the composition of the floor, the estimated capacity of the room, how well sound traveled, that sort of thing. One never knows when such knowledge may be necessary.

Robby gave an amused look at Milo's confused expression. "With a liter of coke," he added. The mechanic was thankful for Mr. Stark's idea of having Jarvis, inspiring Robby to have his Alex. It made things so much easier with how busy he's going to be this school year. "Yes, sir." Alex answered.

Robby reached back again to his pocket, this time pulling out a short cylinder with a blue light indicating that the robot was "on." He tossed it up, catching it in the same hand swiftly. "This is Alex. Artificial intelligence." Robby offered to hand her the plastic coated box. It was still just a prototype, wasn't the prettiest or most organized but at least it worked. Milo didn't seem like the type of person to maliciously break his project so he was comfortable letting her hold it. "I'll tell you about him as we walk back, if you'd like." He mentioned, stepping towards the direction of the dorms.

Olivia smiled at Aurelio's enthusiasm. "I know right," she agreed. She wondered if anyone had the same powers she did. The ability to weaken or strengthen another person's power was relatively unique in her opinion. And when she finally learns how to temporarily take another persons power, she'll be set. She's completed this with a friend who had super speed. She loved having the ability to go beyond her human limitations. Even if it was only for about thirty seconds. "I hope we get some classes together," she stated with a bright smile.

As they neared the dorms, Olivia faced Aurelio. "Thank you so much, Aurelio. This means so much that you helped me," she said, her eyes soft and warm. "I am beyond excited for tomorrow. I'm sure it'll be a good turnout," she noted optimistically. "And hey, if we do happen to have class together, then I know who I'm sitting by." Olivia winked at him. She was glad to have made a new friend that she can depend on.

”Sure, I’d love to eat about him — Alex looks awesome,” Milo mused aloud, turning the modified Alexa about in her hands gently. ”I thought these needed plugged in? Did you modify this yourself?” She held the device at eye level, following Robby while making a couple of semi-silly faces where she assumed the camera was. It was all in good fun. With a lingering smile she turned her attention back to her human buddy, eager for an explanation.

She offered Alex back as they passed through the quad, Milo looking about nonchalantly at the scenery while still listening. The host and Symbiote both noticed a girl sitting under a tree looking rather peaceful. Unsure if the stranger was looking their way, Milo gave a smile and a friendly wave. Hypoxia’s attention lingered on the blonde but eventually faded. Something about a cosmic kind of feeling she gave off. Oh well, they would probably meet later on.

Thor followed into the gym, looking around leisurely. It was spacious and would do well for general use, however specialty powers or training would definitely take place elsewhere. ”Thank you for your condolences,” he began, realizing he didn’t know the girl’s name after all of this. ”I’m sorry but I didn’t catch your name. How rude of me.” The monarch turned to face his exploring companion fully, extending a hand to shake as per Earth custom. ”Though you’ve already met me, I am Thor, son of Odin and Allfather of Asgard.” He had lost count of the number of people who had seen him or heard of him and called him by name without him knowing anything about them. It was the combination of longevity and the curious obsession of Midgard’s inhabitants with social medias.
