Alex nodded. "If you're tired, you can sleep." He said, leaning against the doorway between the front room and the kitchen.

[Crysie Cuddles]

"I guess a little nap couldn't hurt." she replied.

Alex smiled, nodding. "I'll wake you up when lunch is finished, okay?"

"Alright." she replied, drifting off into a dreamless sleep.

Alex busied himself in the kitchen, making a spaghetti carbonara. He grew bored waiting for it to cook so set the timer and walked into the front room, intending to watch TV. He glanced at Midnight and smiled lightly. She looked so peaceful that he didn't want to turn the box on incase it woke her. He bent over, brushing her hair from her face with his cool fingers and placed a gentle kiss on her cheek.

Midnight slept until it was almost time for lunch, then she woke up.

Alex was in the kitchen, dishing up the plates of food. He walked into the front room and smiled. "Morning, Sleeping Beauty." He greeted, carrying the plates. He handed one to her, along with a fork.

She smiled, and took the plate of food, and started eating.

Alex sat next to her on the sofa, also starting to eat. He glanced over at her and smiled. "Do you think all the pain has gone?" He asked, hoping she had slept through it all.

"Yeah, I think it did, I feel a lot better now, so no need to worry." she told him, finishing her lunch. She went into the kitchen, put her plate in the sink, and went back outside, and sat on the couch, next to Alex.
