Alex nodded grimly. He pulled her down onto the sofa with him, her on his lap as he hugged her. "I don't know how long that will last..."

Alex smiled. "It will... Soon. It really depends on how much blood I took. The more I took, the less pain you'll feel." He explained quietly, looking a little dazed.

"Exactly how nuch did you take?" she asked, in a weak voice.

Alex bit his lip, nibbling gently. "I... I'm not sure." He said, looking down at her. He wondered how much pain she would have to go through because of him. He still felt guilty for what he'd done, despite what she had said earlier.

"Oh well, as long as it'll be over, it will be alright." she said.

Alex nodded. "How are you feeling?" He asked gently, his arms still around her waist in a hug. His warm brown eyes looked down at her, a concerned light present in them.

"I feel a lot better at least." she told him. "Hey, what time is it?" she asked, feeling a little hungry.

Alex looked up at the clock on their wall. "Half past eleven... Almost lunch time." He said with a small smile. He picked her up off his lap and placed her on the sofa, getting up. "What do you want for lunch?" He asked.

"Anything I guess." she replied, in a sleepy tone.
