[Midnight Butterfly]

The smell of blood reached Alex's nose. His fangs ached to bite but he held himself back. He looked over at Midnight, eyes wide. He cursed quietly, moving over to her side quickly. He pulled her outside with a quick explanation to the teacher: "Midnight is a little squeamish around blood."

[Crysie Cuddles]

When they were outside of the classroom, her eyes had already changed color, and she was struggling. "What do I do? I can't go back in there, I'll loose myself." she worried. "Help me?" she pleaded, hugging him. Tears started to roll down her cheek.

Alex pulled her gently to his chest, holding her. "Just breathe... Concentrate on the sound of my voice and breathe..." He whispered in her ear. He told her random memories that they had been through together, trying to get her back to normal.

[Crysie Cuddles]

Her was breaking a little but she manage to say, "Alex what do I do when this happens, and your not there?" she asked, a little worried.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get there..." Alex whispered. He hoped it wouldn't be soon and hopefully it would be when she could control herself better.

"In the mean time, promise me that you'll stay with me." she pleaded, hugging him tighter.

"I promise you that I will." Alex said softly, his hands stroking her back calmingly. "Are you feeling better?"

"Yeah, well at least I don't feel like pouncing on anyone." she assured him, loosening her grip.

"Good..." Alex muttered, letting her go. "We can skip school if you want... Your paleness will give the nurse a good reason to send you home..."

"I think that would be a good idea." she agreed.
