Midnight walked down the hall, head hung, hands clenched in his jacket pocket as he sped up his pace. He looked up to see a girl yelling at a freshman.

Juliet frowned and looked up at Midnight, she smirked, gave the freshman a tiny shove, and walked off, pissed at Boone.

Midnight turned away as she smirked at him and continued down the corridor silently, glancing around nervously

Boone sat at one of the picnic tables outside the cafeteria. He was frowning, think hard about whether or not Juliet had said if the geek was or wasn't cool.

Midnight got outside and sat on a bench silently

Boone looked up at the emo kid, he frowned, he felt sad now, like the kid was giving off sad waves. He waved hello/goodbye and left for his dorm.

Midnight watched Boone leave and lifted his hand in responce to his wave. He then sighed and stared at his feet, his jaw hurting from one of his dads recent beatings.
