Plot

It's the start of your sixth year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and preparation for your NEWTs gets quickly underway. It's been almost one hundred years ever since the infamous Battle of Hogwarts, and the second Wizarding War, with the exact 100th anniversary happening next year. Since then, it's mostly been peaceful. But things, unfortunately, are just not going to stay that way.

When you, and a few other sixth years, accidentally stumble upon a plot involving the new rise of Death Eaters, and that at least two teachers (both of whom are unknown at this point) are also mentioned to be part of the plot (being referred to as the 'internal spies'), you realise that things are about to change for the worse. Unsure as to who you can actually trust, the group decides to keep the secret to themselves, and resolve to foil the Death Eater plot before it's too late. After all, if the famous Harry Potter and his friends could do it, then why not them?

Characters

Postby Consulting_Angel » Fri Mar 15, 2019 11:28 am

You are allowed to have up to two characters, but they must both be of different Houses. PM me to reserve, and post characters in the discussion thread.

Each character will have their own 'speciality' - the class that they excel at the most, with their talents coming in handy at different points in the roleplay.

Potions Expert
With the uncanny ability to
brew a potion better than
most students, and having
success at even the more
difficult potions, this student
could brew a potion for
almost anything.

Name | Gender | House | User

Charm Caster
They know the correct
pronunciation and wand
movements for even the
tricky charms, getting
unfamiliar and new ones
right within just a few tries.
They've got a good few tricks
up their sleeve.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Herbologist
They can tell you what the
plant you're looking at is, and
also knows the crucial
information when it comes to
telling which plants are docile
and safe, and which ones are
violent and venomous, and all
those that are inbetween.

Name | Gender | House | User

Magical Creature Whisperer
Most animals seem to love
them, and vice versa. And being
able to 'communicate' and having
a natural affinity for magical
creatures just helps with that.
They're more important than
some people think.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Ancient Rune Decrypter
Deciphering runes comes easy
to them, though it helps that they
also have a decoding parchment
with them. While they might
sometimes have something
unknown, they can interpret it
reasonably, and draw out
what's important to know.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Magical Historian
Possibly the only student
who truly pays attention in
History of Magic, this student
loves learning about the history
of Hogwarts, as well as the
history of the Wizarding World.
Their knowledge may be key
and helpful when it comes to
figuring out what is going on.

Name | Gender | House | User
Arithmancy Solver
Whether it's solving equations
or figuring out dates, this person
has got hold of the art of
arithmancy, and is more than
willing to prove that it is far
more interesting than first
perceived.

Name | Gender | House | User

Transfiguration Savant
Need something transfiguring?
This student is perhaps your best
bet, aside from the professor, of
course. They have an unusual
talent for the subject, which will
definitely be useful for disguising
things.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Qudditch Pro
With a preference to fly, this
student is a highly esteemed
Quidditch player, and a truly
excellent flyer. They can weave
around the tightest of turns and
pull up from the fastest drops,
and they have great reflexes.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Astronomy Star
Studying the stars is their
favourite way to spend a
sleepless night. They know the
planet and moons phases and
what it means when certain
stars align. Though it seems
that way, they are not the
backgrounder that they appear
to be.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Dark Arts Defender
Countering jinxes and identifying
signs of dark magic is their kind
of thing. They are aware of dark
influences, and if someone is
under a spell, and are most
proficient in defending
themselves and others
against it.

Name | Gender | House | Reserved

Ace Alchemist
This student has quite the
affinity for Alchemy studies,
able to work with the four main
elements well, amongst other
spells that are studied in
this difficult subject. Their
knowledge and experience
will be an important part of
the group.
