❝𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎❞
I only sense three. The assassin counted four guards from where he sat in hiding, but only three of them gave off an energy signature he could sense. He'd have to proceed with an extra air of caution; any downed guards would break his stealth, and then the job at hand would be the least of his worries. With light steps, Hit moved to the edge of the dark corner, keeping right in the above camera's blindspot. There would be a ten second window before he lost his blind spot, and in that time he needed find a way out of the corner he'd backed himself into.
Four.
Three.
Two.
One.
Just as the camera began to rotate, everything froze behind a mirage of stained glass. Hit bolted forward and tore the security device from its perch, rebounding off the wall and pulling himself up onto the catwalk above, rolling to a halt as his time-skip ended. Aside from the stray sparks, the stunt didn't make enough noise to attract attention. After taking a moment to refind each of the four guards below him, the assassin crept silently across the steel catwalk until the guards were behind him. He rounded a corner and, at the sound of footsteps and voice ahead, pressed himself back against the wall. Two more guards whose energies he couldn't sense. The voices grew closer and Hit grimaced. He'd gone into this job far too blindly, especially now that he was aware that some of these guards couldn't be detected by their energies. At least the same applied for Hit. He heard the pair of guards split, though one still continued down the hall where the assassin stood. I can handle one without breaking stealth.
Hit spotted an elevator out of the corner of his eye and reached back to call it before returning to his readied stance. The assassin's muscles tensed in preparation, grappling the guard the instant he rounded the corner. With the element of surprise on his side, he muffled his opponent's shout with one hand and dragged him into elevator doors just as they opened. The tight quarters gave Hit the advantage, allowing him to disarm the guard of his gun after narrowly avoiding a stray laser. He delivered a Phoenix Eye punch to the man's liver and blocked a knife strike with his wrist guard, the elevator doors opening to a... bar? The sight ahead caught the assassin off guard enough for him to break character. "You have a bar in your black market warehouse?" The distraction gave the guard an opening to wedge his knife through the assassin's body armor, snapping him back to the reality of the situation. Briefly ignoring the fiery sensation of the blade in his ribs, Hit forced a second use of the time-skip technique to deliver the killing blow, the force of his Phantom Fist technique likely rupturing several organs. With the now dead guard handled, Hit pulled the knife from his side and dropped it, putting pressure on the bleeding wound, purple blood staining his hand and armor. The lizard-like creature behind the counter stared in only a mild shock, raising one clawed hand. "This isn't the warehouse you were in, and as long as you don't kill anyone else while you're here, you're welcome to stay." Not the welcome he expected, but Hit would take it. The other guests in the pub didn't look so calm at the sudden sight of murder.

Reza||25||Female||Tagged: HitSeveral more individuals entered the bar after Reza, presumably from very different places. Wouldn't make sense for all of them to have come through her lab door, she didn't get that much traffic. Besides, none of the people here looked anything like Syntech employees. One was obviously a child, one was far too heavily armed, and this new one... well now, he was interesting. The meld at the bar was fairly standard, this one looked far more complex. Humanoid again, obviously both sapient and sentient, but what was it made out of? Overcome with curiosity, the Biomancer rose from her chair, circling the creature as she mumbled to herself. "Purple skin... cranial ridges... no tail, no claws... piscine? No, no gills... possibly insectoid?" She stopped circling him, looking up at his face. She had to strain a bot, he was a good foot taller than her. Not a bad height, though she would've gone bigger. "Pardon me," she said this time directed at the unknown meld, "but would you happen to remember your batch number? I don't think I've ever seen a meld with your specifications before."

Once the shock of his initial entry died down, most of the guests returned to their drinks or meals, and the reptilian behind the bar shook his head as if to wave aside his concerns for the newest guest. Hit briefly turned to the door behind him, which was stylized as an emergency fire exit. How that translated to an elevator door was beyond him, and at the moment he had more pressing concerned. With his adrenaline now fading, the fiery pain in his side returned with a vengeance. He must've nicked something with that lucky shot. Hit mentally cursed himself for letting his guard down. One of the beings idling at the bar stood to approach him, and Hit readied a defensive stance with his free hand; unfortunately, it left much of his right side unguarded. Though his pose relaxed as she circled him harmlessly, his guard did not. "Pardon me," the seemingly aquatic born woman spoke up at last, ceasing her mumblings. "but would you happen to remember your batch number? I don't think I've ever seen a meld with your specifications before." Meld? Her choice of words didn't sit well with the assassin, and he was vulnerable in the current situation. "I'm not artificial." He answered, studying the shorter being before him. He originally assumed her species was aquatic, but closer inspection seemed to tell a different story. The hulking claws tucked to her chest stood out in stark contrast with the rest of body, as did her hair. While everything else looked natural, it occurred to him that she may be a spliced organism, though with the accuracy and consistency of her adaptations, it had been on her own accord. That would also explain her familiarity with the terms. The pain in his side grew from a constant nagging to a biting fire, and the longer he stood, the more difficult it became to keep pressure on the injury. "And at the moment I have a stab wound to worry about."

Well Seaworthy had certainly gotten a massive makeover, since last Seahawk was there. Even the bartender was different, though perhaps for the best, considering the pirate had angered enough of the previous one’s customers. But it wasn’t like he could have been kicked out anyway, Seahawk was quite certain gave the place a little more liveliness, though most would agree it was just trouble from some of his poorly informed decisions.
Though it would have been a bit of a break to stay, Seahawk was itching to get back on a boat, maybe set it alight, all the excitement of adventure still buzzing within him.
As soon as he stepped out of the bar, something felt off. There was now an unfamiliar village before him, full of people he had never seen before, and he was quite certain he hadn’t noticed either of those things on the way in, though he did, admittedly, possess a sore lack of vigilance at times.
However, the smell of sea air was not too far away, and he followed the salty scent diligently, comforted in the knowledge that there was ocean very nearby.
Coming upon what the pirate could only assume were docks, he spotted a white haired figure, standing by the water, and assumed that they perhaps had some idea concerning the area, since Seahawk was pretty sure he had never seen a place like this in Etheria.
"Why, hello!" he greeted, enthusiastically, raising a hand to wave.
"I don’t suppose you could give some information regarding this fine place I’ve never seen before?" he gestured to the entirety of the place, as fully as he could. "And how I got here? Because, I’m quite certain this isn’t Seaworthy."

Even for Claudia, this was a little bit beyond weird, and while she’d found the place rather nice, she was worried about Soren, seeing as he hadn’t met up with her.
Really that was the first red flag that gave her the idea that just maybe she wasn’t in Katolis anymore.
Apart from the fact that she had opened the door to a bakers and ended up in a bar instead.
.... Yeah, perhaps that should have been the more obvious clue…
She had no idea how to get back, which was a pretty major problem, since her father was probably going to be very disappointed and very angry if the dragon horn she and Soren had gotten didn’t convince their father they’d done what they’d set out to do. If there was anything the young mage didn’t need, it was to add insult to injury by taking so long to get back to the castle with Soren as soon as possible.
Speaking of, now she had to worry about her brother. If he did something stupid, which was very likely, Claudia wouldn’t be able to fix it, and the last thing they needed was another village almost burnt to the ground with all its inhabitants.
Expecting nothing from the pub, Claudia quickly ventured out, and when that didn’t put her back in front of the bakers, she decided it was worth asking around, seeing if any of the locals could give her information about the place.
The people were only too eager to speak to her, which was most refreshing, and gradually she was gathering more and more information the more villagers she spoke to.
So, another dimension, time separate from her own world, and it was very easy to get back. Well that being the case, she could afford to bide her time, wander and appreciate this place that apparently existed alongside other worlds. If there was more she could find out about how this was possible, then of course she couldn’t leave, and there was still so many places left to explore. Oh how nice it was to be able to look around a place so freely, Claudia intended to make the most out of all of it.
Of course, in her absent minded awe, she completely lost all spacial awareness, and it was only a matter of time before she ended crashing into someone.
...Or walking into an almost 4 foot tall moth.
"Sorry!" The girl apologised, chuckling nervously, as soon as she recovered mentally from the shock of the impact. Interesting though, this wasn’t like any other being the young mage had seen, as of yet. Were they uncommon, had Claudia just not seen one (until now of course), or did they too come from another world?
Only one way to find out, Claudia supposed.
"You wouldn’t happen to be from around here, would you?" She didn't even consider the possibility that perhaps they did not speak.

Reza||25||Female||Tagged: Hit"Truly?" Reza asked, her eyes lighting up. Literally, her recent experiments in bioluminescence had left a few stray photophores in her irises. Not useful, but they tended to glow when she got excited. "Oh, this is wonderful, simply wonderful! You simply must let me get some cell cultures, this opportunity is incredible!" An entirely new species! If that was the case, then it meant that the portal her door had formed led, not just to somewhere else on earth, but to a completely different reality! It had been theorized about, of course, but now there was conclusive proof! The mere thought of the journals that would stem from this expedition had the biomancer giddy with delight. Ah, but first it would be best to make sure her new subject didn't bleed to death.
Reza hawked a wad of spit into her palm, enchanting it with a whorl of blue magic before slapping it onto the creature's wound. "I'm obviously not familiar with your cell organization," she said, "but that should help stop the bleeding and promote clotting. If you're an family-based organism, it should even speed up the regenerative process."

Felix | Male | Mid 30's | Red vs. Blue | The Village | Open
Felix ventures through the village, looking around with an unseen raised brow underneath his helmet. There’s some people nearby, human or not Felix doesn’t care because they’re not Locus.
He takes a breath, and releases an annoyed sigh. He flicks on his comm with ease, resorting to measures he hadn’t wanted to because he wasn’t gonna put up with Hargrove questioning him as if he could answer any of their questions. He turns his head, placing his hands on his hips as the comma flicker to life and create a low buzzing noise. "This is Felix, broadcasting to whoever the hell might be on this channel as well. Hello?"
Asra | Nonbinary [he/him] | 27 | The Arcana | The Docks | Seahawk
Asra is barely stepping foot off the docks when another figure comes into view, causing him to stop in his tracks and raise a hand in greeting. The friendly figure calls out to him and Asra finds a bit of comfort in hearing such a tune, causing a smile to cross his lips as the man approaches.
The term Seaworthy definitely isn’t familiar to him, but he wouldn’t question it immediately. They both seemed confused and though Asra often travelled alone, he wouldn’t say no to the man who introduced himself first. Though Asra wasn’t quick to judge, he knew if this was a trick from the Devil that he might not be able to sense the magic. He gestures to the sea anyway, and parts his lips to speak with the tilt of his head. ”We might be in the same situation, then. I had chosen a completely different location to warp to and I ended up here.” He explains, and puts his hands together as he examines the man. Asra knew many people from Vesuvia, but this man definitely wasn’t familiar. He pulls his hands apart and offers it to shake, another friendly smile crossing his lips. ”My name is Asra. I run a tarot shop in Vesuvia. You mentioned a thing called Seaworthy earlier?”

Tony░Tony░Chopper (安こ屋)

Male|17|One Piece|Form:Normal|Location:Docs|Tags:Open
At first, he thought it was a dream, but the sound of the waves of the ocean crashing against the docks was real. Even if it was real, Chopper was use to the sound of the ocean since he was a pirate. It helped him helped him sleep, actually. Who didn’t like the sound of the ocean as they slept..they had to be crazy. Anyway, a splash of water landed on Chopper’s face. At first he continued to lay there, but then..he jumped on his feet, looking around.”…..Where..” the blue nose reindeer looked around at his surroundings, seeing some boats and people as well.”Docks? So that means..we are on another island!” a look of excitement was clearly shown on his face, Chopper then called out for his friends.” Oiiii! Everyone!” wait..something wasn’t right..his friends weren’t near him. He didn’t even see the Sunny either. Maybe they…hid the ship, but why was he the only one left here? It made no sense at all.
"Maybe they just...headed off without me? No, they wouldn't leave me behind like that! no way!." Chopper became more worried when he didn't pick up his friend's scents anywhere and unfortunately, he couldn't remember a thing. He tried his best to remember, but nothing came to mind. All he could remember was being on the ship with the others, he went to sleep for the night and poof! he was on this strange dock. The poor thing couldn't even begin to think how he manged to get here. Maybe a storm blew him here or something...but that couldn't be right. Chopper would had most defiantly noticed, he wasn't a heavy sleeper like luffy or anything, so how? Although he wanted to figured this out, Chopper knew it would be best to explore around this place and maybe get some answers. Maybe his friends where someone on this island..oh dear! he hoped they weren't captured by the marines."T-Theres no way they got captured..i can't think like that now."
The reindeer was right, his crew wouldn't allowed their selves to be captured by marines."Umm..maybe i did sleep that hard. I know i said i would forget about it for now..but how could i." After staring off into the ocean abit longer, Chopper begin to explore the docks and there was still no sigh of Sunny or his friends. There had to be a town of something if there was a dock here right? that was his plan, go to the town or whatever and continue his search there. Suddenly, a pit begin to form in his stomach..he had a bad feeling about something and couldn't shake it off. He told his self not to worry about it over, and over again. He even inhaled the soothing smell of the ocean in...but it didn't help." I really hope i can get some answers soon.."

Mith :: Adult :: Female :: Hollow Knight oc :: The Village :: ~~ClaudiaIt figured that the moment she took her focus off of moving out of the way of creatures taller than her to really take in the sights was the exact moment she needed to be paying attention. Her wings flared out briefly in surprise at the sudden contact, only settling back around her after she had moved back a few steps. "Oh! No, no, it was my fault, I should have been paying more attention to where I was going..." She shook her head slightly at the other being's apology. She was, admittedly, unsure of what exactly they were. There seemed to be a lot of them around though, so clearly they were fairly common.
"Um... no I'm not," Again she shook her head, at the question this time. "I only found myself here a little while ago, so I'm afraid that I don't really know much about this place. Sorry about that." Her antenna drooped slightly as she spoke. She felt bad about not being able to help, but it would be better to be clear about that before she was asked any other questions -- she really wouldn't have any answers.

❝𝚜𝚝𝚛𝚒𝚔𝚎 𝚋𝚎𝚏𝚘𝚛𝚎 𝚒𝚝'𝚜 𝚝𝚘𝚘 𝚕𝚊𝚝𝚎❞
The sudden, literal glow in the other's eyes caused Hit's expression to harden, and from there all hell broke loose. All at once the splice began gushing over him, as though she'd never seen anything similar. The mention of "cell cultures" only added to her mad scientist vibe, and the assassin quickly decided this was not someone he wanted to be around while he was injured. The fact that he'd just killed somebody moments earlier didn't seem to faze her either. "I'll pass--" Having already spat into her hand, the aquatic creature imbued the phlegm with some kind of energy before striking with it, speaking quickly about its regenerative properties. Hit caught her arm by the wrist before it made contact, stopping the motion cold. "All I need is first aid." He told her shortly, his serious demeanor showing through. "I can tend to it myself in a place where I can get this armor off." While the statement was true, Hit wouldn't know the full extent of the injury until he was out of his armor. A quick glance back to the knife on the floor gave him an estimated length of four inches, which was definitely deep enough to cut into his vitals. At least she likely knows a doctor.

Reza||25||Female||Tagged: Hit"Such speed!" Reza exclaimed, marveling at the strength of the hand that gripped her arm. Certainly he was one of the stronger humanoids she'd come across. She'd be more excited about it if he wasn't using it to be so difficult.
"Now now," the scientist chided, "this is for your own good, you know. I may not know what species you are, but I know that wound probably went deep enough to hit something vital, and I'm not about to let you treat that on your own. Just hold still, it'll all be over in a moment." Magic pulsed in her hand again, and the blob in her palm began to twist and shift, enchanted mucus turning into thin tendrils that reached out from her hand, grasping for the hole in the creature's side.
