Barclay and Taryn are traveling together, and met Luna along the road. Luna, a traveling Arturian, hid her identity, and appeared to them to be another traveling Cegian, as they patroled the countryside searching for the remains from any of the many skirmishes the Cegian and Arturian armies had had with each other. They were in a heavily forested area, with a central cobblestone road leading from Ystail to Lian (towns). Nearby was a water-wheel operated mill, next to a stream. The area was lush with game animals, but in every life giving enviroment, there would be a pretator lurking somewhere...

Barclay hadn't a clue as to how long he and his comrades had been walking along the countryside and searching amongst the remains of the skirmishs that had taken place. His pawed feet were getting rather sore from traveling along the same terrain for some time, and his equipment felt as if it had gained several extra pounds. The thought of resting had crept into his mind, but he kept it to himself since he didn't want to seem like a whiny wolf pup. Then again, voicing his opinion every so often wasn't a bad thing but complaining was another and Barclay wasn't one for complaining.

He was a proud wolf who took joy in traveling and knew how to survive off the land, but was the type to keep to himself. It was the others, though, that he was rather leery of. The lizard-girl Taryn seemed alright so far. The girl Luna seemed okay, too, even if they had just recently come across her. He supposed that he could get used to their presence and patrol the countryside in peace, even if he was getting tired of wandering.

"Hold up. I need to sit for a moment. My feet are killing me," Barclay piped up, his voice heavily accented. He seated himself with a huffed sigh upon a fallen log that was only a few feet away, with his bow resting upon his lap. He hoped the others wouldn't mind taking a five or so minute break.
