New Berk rises from the sea like a great fortress, hiding away the inhabitants from the cruel outside world. So far out, near the Edge of the World, the Berkians are the only people for leagues. Their story is special — full of secrets best kept to themselves, for they are blessed with the knowledge of the dragons.
This roleplay takes place a few generations after the latest HTTYD movie. If you haven’t seen it yet, this will contain spoilers so be warned.
After decades without any dragons, effectively snuffing out the dragon hunting business, New Berk has begun welcoming back their scaly companions. Isolated from the rest of the islands, Berkians keep to themselves enough to keep secrets again. Rather than the dragons returning in hordes, the beasts have gradually made their way to the overworld again for the sole purpose of finding a human companion. Wild dragons very rarely come to the overworld as their Hidden World home is much better suited for them. However, while they were away the world continued to advance and new technologies are starting to emerge.
