Upon eyeing Yamato's reaction to the supreme leader's introduction, Kokichi observes what he can see from the black haired boy. Kokichi had learned from a young age to not trust anyone. So, in order to try and make friends, the supreme leader sets up mental tests for acquaintances to pass. So that he knew whether or not they were trustworthy. In this test, Takeru was doing rather well, believe it or not. Kokichi knew that Takeru could partially see through his bluff, it was obvious, as the title of ultimate supreme leader was ridiculous to most. The young boy took this observation and pushed it aside, letting himself move on in a matter of seconds. "where do you think we should go next?" This phrase echoed through Kokichi's skull. The supreme leader brought his thumb to his mouth, biting on his metaphalanges with his front teeth. "Hmm..." The young boy hummed out, acting as if he was really thinking hard about this. After a few seconds, Kokichi jumped up. He was grinning like a child, and stars seemed to dance in his violet eyes. "Oh! I know! We should explore what's outside of this hallway and get a good idea of the first floor's floor plan!" He said exclaimed in an excited fashion. In reality, this is what Kokichi had wanted to do from the start, because more information, the better. The supreme leader knew he often came across as childish, and vulgar too. He liked to take advantage of this, so no one would ever really look into what he was like without his facade. Kokichi knew he made himself out to be villain in other's eyes, that was because he didn't want to hurt anyone if he ever disappeared. That had been a very successful endeavor in his eyes.

Jackie grinned widely as her "soulmate" spoke, and tilted her head as he said his name. "Ax.....Ax......oh, never mind. I'm just gonna call you Axel, is that OK? You can call me Jackie!" She extended a hand in greeting, and continued to speak. "I figured things weren't good, that note sounded scary! I mean, I can fight, but I don't really want to......" In response to Axel's last sentence, Jackie giggled a little. "You're kidding, right? How on earth would someone have-" As a thought made its way into Jackie's head, she cut herself short. "wait.......he's not.......he's not an alien, is he?!" Considering this possibility, Jackie took a deep breath. "Um.....I'm....I'm a human. Aren't you? Or are you an alien? Oh my gosh, that would be so cool!" This fueled a whole new line of conversation for the young teen, who bounced on the balls of her feet in excitement. "I've never met an alien before! Are there aliens from a lot of different planets? How do we speak the same language? Do all aliens have built-in language converters or something?"

【Elijah Earnhardt】
────────────────────────────
Male|18|Yellow Pair|Tags: Sonia

This wasn't the first time that his beloved friend revealed some secrets about him. Normally he didn't get this flustered whenever he did, but this time, these secrets he told where really embarrassing..well, the last part was anyway and it made him wonder about something that wasn't really important. Why would Gao share a embarrassing secret? was it because sonia was a princess. Still, why would he share that with a royal in the first place? normally you would make a good impression or something like that. Gao was a strange creature sometimes..even if he could get inside the spirit's head, Eli would still be confused. " She's right you know..it's not a good idea to tell people my secrets like that. you could end up saying the wrong thing you know." the boy sighed, looking down at Gao. The dog spirit whined, placing his hands behind his back and turn his gaze away form the two

"I-i just wanted to...you know." he looked at Eli with beady eyes." Because you always say that it would be nice if you could get to know someone..i thought telling Sonia would draw you two closer." he swirled his foot around the floor, his ears shot right up when Sonia said that she would share something about her self..but when she shared.." You had forced in a killing game..survived it, and became interested in psycho killers." After thinking about it, Gao placed locked his paws together."Ah! i got it! urrr no, i don't really. Umm, Eli..what do you think?" he turn towards his friend, who had a look of shock on his face. He, his self, couldn't wrap his head around it and tried to find a positive response..but nothing really didn't came to mind. He didn't know how he felt about the information and after a moment of gathering his thoughts, he replied

"That..sounds very terrible. Y-you didn't actually kill anyone..did you?" her situation sounded scary. What if something like that happened to the guild? what if they where forced to kill each other..would they do it? no, no way. His guild where untied and wouldn't dare do something that evil to each other. Eli most defiantly wouldn't kill any of his friends..he couldn't bring his self to do it

【Rosa Burns】

Female|27|Black Pair|Tags: Jacket

Rosa rolled her eyes at his response, suddenly remembering something. He reminded her of someone back at home, a guy she met. How? well..she wasn't really sure. Maybe the guy back at home was sarcastic as heck. " this guy.."was all she thought. Well, who could blame her for wanting to ask questions? she was stuck in a castle with a random guy and apparently, they had to play some kind of game that could get them kill. Last time she checked, games where suppose to be fun, which wasn't true. Back at home, there was no such thing as fun. It was, but only for those monster who hunted down humans like her. that was their "fun. "....your welcome." was all she signed Rosa was a sassy person, she had to stop her self right there before she slipped up and say the wrong thing.

Now they ended up in a kitchen..how strange. The woman parted form Jacket, looking around the kitchen. It was very clear, like..super clean ."At least this match maker is clean." she thought. There was alot of food here, some she never seen before. Rosa was so use to bread water, a few meat like deer, rabbit, squirrel. seeing all of this made her sigh and without noticing, she signed something."Matchmaker wants us to get full before trying to kill us" it wasn't directed towards Jacket, just her thinking out loud. Her attention shifted towards Jacket when he walked towards her with a popsicle in his hand. She had no idea what it was,but she took it anyway." The heck.." it was cold...why would she want to eat something some cold? seem like he was enjoying it,so Rosa decided to try it out. Not bad, but she bit into it and meshed her teeth together." The heck?!"

The accent instantly earned a confused expression from Clementine, unable to place her finger on exactly where it was from, although that wasn’t too surprising considering the majority of people she met having American accents. She decided against pondering on that, though, it didn’t matter where Shoto was from, after all, it wasn’t going to be changing anything about their situation. Listening to his response, the girl frowned and contemplated her options for a moment, anybody could easily say that they weren’t looking for a fight, it wasn’t hard to act friendly just to stab people in the back, but something about the boy made her doubt he’d do that; even at communities with hot water and walls nobody looked like him; everyone looked worse for wear due to their time in the apocalypse. Anybody unaffected was hard to come by, besides, they’d usually get themselves killed early on if they didn’t know the state of the world, much like Sarah. Perhaps Shoto was in the same situation? Obviously he wasn’t expecting a gun pointed at him, but Clementine knew that that was often how it went when you met new people, she had been on both sides of the interaction too. He also had a fair point, he was just as lost and confused as she was since he was probably taken away from his home too - at least it looked like his home was probably worth missing, Clementine would hardly miss the apocalypse and the walkers, but she still had people to get back to. “I’m not stupid. Either you point a gun or you’re on the wrong end of one before you know it. I rather not take my chances, Shoto.” She replied finally, narrowing her eyes and remaining stiff for a few moments before slowly lowering the gun and returning it to the holster.

Now taking her time to get a better look at the other teenager, she realised it didn’t look like he had any weapons on him which, again, was a sight that Clementine wasn’t used to; he must have been pretty sheltered, then. Somehow the community was still going after eight years, most of them would fall apart by now or suffer losses before recovering again, much like Richmond. Maybe wherever he was from was better at controlling the walkers, better than America, at least. “I have people to get back to, and I’m guessing you do too, so you should probably get yourself a weapon so we can get this over with quickly.” She suggested, “There’s no telling what kind of creatures are going to be here and I get the feeling it's not just walkers.” Clementine turned to the door of the room and walked towards it, grabbing the handle and opening it slightly to ensure there was nothing dangerous outside of the room before fully opening the door. “Come on, we’re wasting time. Those puzzles aren’t going to solve themselves.” With that, the girl was quick to exit the room, looking down both ends of the hall and stepping out of the way of the doorway, so that Shoto could get out.

In recent times, Ahsoka was barely getting a break from her training. She didn’t mind the training, though, it was always important to keep improving and she knew that she would be improving since she was only a Padawan, she would be much stronger once she passed the training and became a Jedi. Training with Master Skywalker was quite the experience, after all, and occasionally the training would be interrupted by missions but those were typically pretty brief lately which was a shame, but having a break was quite nice. Training kept her mind occupied, and she still was perfecting the art of jar'kai and utilising the force better in battle, and both of those needed her focus. Sometimes it could get a little lonely, though, when the others were sent off on a mission but she had to stay behind, but she wasn’t too surprised by that; sometimes it was better not to have a, still rather untrained, Padawan. Lately they were mainly diplomatic missions, anyway, so that wasn’t too exciting - not that Ahsoka would be missing anything terribly important, and if anything went wrong she would hear about it.

The Togruta allowed a yawn to escape her lips when she began stirring and not long after a tired groan followed as she stretched and turned to lay on her side. Her body was aching all over after the training, so the thought of staying in bed was certainly tempting but she would need to learn not to give into temptation so easily. Sighing quietly, Ahsoka sat up in the bed, feeling around for the edge of the covers and pushing them to the side then swinging her legs over the side of the bed. She paused. She didn’t remember going to sleep with a cover over her, and it was highly unlikely that somebody came in and put a cover over her while she was asleep. Suddenly alert, she blinked her eyes a few times to clear away the sleep and reached for her lightsabers only to find that they weren’t on her person. This definitely wasn’t right. Now seeing clearly, Ahsoka found herself staring at somebody across the unfamiliar room that was stood beside a curtain and it looked like the room went on to be larger, likely to accomodate for them too. She had to try and improvise, then. “Who are you?” She questioned somewhat forcefully, not wanting to instantly make an enemy without fully understanding the situation first. Ahsoka scanned her eyes over the room, searching for any clues to where she was, but instead she noticed a note that was placed on her bedside table. She assumed that this other person must have gotten something similar, so figured it would be best if she was up to speed too. Soulmates? Ahsoka scoffed when she read through the letter, what make this “Matchmaker” think that they were able to decide who was her soulmate? She turned the note over and noticed that there wasn’t as much writing there. Lavender pairing, Cupid. She shifted her gaze away from the note and instead looked at her so-called soulmate, figuring that Cupid must have been their name. “You must have been brought here against your will too.” She commented, frowning as she got to her feet, looking at the bedside table drawer and opening it, breathing a sigh of relief and taking out her two lightsabers, clipping them to her belt. “I’m Ahsoka Tano,” she introduced herself, offering a small, polite smile, “I’m a Padawan training under Master Skywalker.” Ahsoka couldn’t help but doubt that Cupid would know of the Jedi order, she looked unlike any species that Ahsoka had seen before, after all, so perhaps she was from somewhere that wasn’t involved in the Clone Wars? “I’m sure the two of us can get past the puzzles and battles.” Optimism was important to try and make strangers more comforted, she would often use it when dealing with civilians during battle, it put the mind at ease, after all, if someone tells you that everything will work out fine.

Perhaps the late night gaming was not the best idea that Hana could have thought of, but she always felt obliged to give her fans what they wanted. The Gwishin omnics were not that active, it had been a long time since they attacked since the last battle although that wasn’t very surprising considering it would usually take them a month or so to get themselves together and prepare another attack on Busan. Their inactivity meant that there wasn’t much for the MEKA force to be doing, so all Hana could do was game, train and keep working on her MEKA suit, much to Dae-hyun’s dismay. He often insisted that she needed to take a break every once in a while and actually do what the news claims she does; hang around with well-known people, eat at the top five-star restaurants, enjoy the life of a celebrity, that kind of thing. That was never really her style, though, even before becoming a MEKA pilot she still enjoyed her life as an e-sports star and she enjoyed streaming her games to her fans. That wasn’t all too surprising, though, considering she basically grew up on gaming with her father. Often when she was streaming she would lose track of time and would end up falling asleep late at night and not get that much sleep until she would wake up early in the morning either to work on her MEKA suit or to play some video games with other members of her team, usually she would enjoy playing alongside Yuna Lee, callsign D.Mon, it would remind the two of the simpler times where they were only e-sport stars and not national protectors.

Even though she did enjoy gaming until the ungodly hours of the night, having to wake up early the next morning was a real pain for her but she made sure not to let that show to other people. She couldn’t let people know, if she did then there was a chance that they would insist on her having a break (Dae-hyun was the one who did this most often) and Hana would always deny it, there could always suddenly be another attack from the Gwishin omnics so she couldn’t risk being caught off guard and away from the MEKA base in Busan. As far as everyone else knew, D.VA was completely fine, enjoying her time relaxing and living in the lap of luxury, at least that was what the news told them anyway. When she began to stir, a loud yawn escaped her lips and she stretched out her arms, this was when she noticed that the bed felt strangely large. Back on the MEKA base, her bed was rather small, although that could be said about her entire room, only fitting her bed, chair, computer, and however many trophies she had were kept in a display case or strewn about the floor until she found a suitable place to store them. The bed that she woke up on, though, felt both bigger and much comfier than her own bed back at the base, which was certainly concerning. Frowning, Hana sat up in the bed and yawned again before cracking her eyes open to look at her surroundings. This definitely wasn’t the MEKA base. Instantly, she leapt from the bed, scanning her eyes over the room which was strangely fancy and certainly nothing that she was used to; the MEKA base wasn’t particularly fancy, after all.

Hana eyed the curtains warily, not trusting it one bit considering anybody could easily just invite themselves in to see her. Considerably uncomfortable due to the thought, Hana decided to avoid the curtain for now and instead focus on the note that was placed on the bedside table. Grabbing the piece of paper, the mech pilot narrowed her eyes as she read over the explanation for the situation she found herself in. This couldn’t possibly be real, right? There was no way that someone was capable of taking her from the base and leave her here with her supposed roomate, surely it must have been some kind of a sick joke, right? Somehow, Hana wasn’t so sure. She turned the note over and placed it back on the bedside table, the writing on the back of the note catching her eye: Ren Amamiya, crimson pairing. That must have been her so-called soulmate’s name. Muttering a complaint under her breath, the e-sports star turned to look at the rest of the room, still making a point to avoid going too close to the curtain until she fully explored her side of the room. Walking towards the closet, she opened up the doors and was met with some of her pilot suits alongside everyday clothing. If her suits were here, maybe her mech would be here too? It was wishful thinking and Hana couldn’t help but doubt that she would be given the unfair advantage of having the high mech, but she still hoped for it. Maybe she would get lucky. She took out one of the suits and a headset that was placed on the floor of the closet before closing the doors and placing it on her bed, slipping out of her pyjamas and changing into her usual attire. Once she had her headset on, she spoke in a hushed voice to avoid her “soulmate” overhearing any possible conversation, “Dae-hyun? Are you there?” She waited for a few moments, chewing her lip anxiously and expecting the familiar voice, “Dae-hyun?” Perhaps he just wasn’t at the base? Yeah, maybe that was the reason why there wasn’t a reply. “Jae-eun? Kyung-soo? Seung-hwa? Yuna?” At this point it was becoming clear that she had no contact with the base, getting no reply from Dae-hyun nor the other MEKA pilots. Hana felt a lump in her throat and she quickly began to try and calm herself down. This was fine, she could just get out as soon as possible, but what if that was too late? She felt horrible at the thought of letting her friends down by vanishing when they needed her, a lot of their missions they barely got out alive, what if something happened to them while she was gone? She shook her head to clear away the thoughts, now wasn’t a good time to get emotional.

Opening the drawers in her bedside table, she spotted her light pistol safely kept in one of them, instantly grabbing it and turning to face the curtain, frowning and clearing her throat; she hadn’t forgotten the possibility that her “soulmate” might have made themselves a little too welcome while she was sleeping. Pulling the curtains open, she stared at Ren as he sat on the end of his bed and kept her grip tight on her pistol that was held by her side; the letter said it was okay to betray soulmates, so Hana wasn’t going to let that happen to her if she could help it. “Hey, ani kkoun nyeoseog!*” To say the least, Hana wasn’t in the mood for being friendly, although she had a good reason to not be in the best of moods, “How long have you been awake, huh? Sitting on your bed won’t get anything done. You didn’t think to be useful and look around for a way out?”

*creep! (you're welcome plo he a creep now lol)

Homesickness was a common feeling for the relatively young Dalish elf, she did miss her clan, of course, but it seemed like they refused to miss her. They actually seemed to fear her whenever she bothered to visit them. Her thoughts shifted back to Pol and, more specifically, his death. He ran from her and straight into his death and she was still struggling to understand why he would decide to do that, she had been offering her help but he was terrified. She wasn’t able to sleep that night. The fact that he essentially chose death other being in her company honestly scared her, was it purely because of her dabbling in blood magic? It seemed unlikely, after all, she was sure that she had never done anything particularly bad before while using the magic. At the same time, it wasn’t like she was a particularly scary person, she wouldn’t ever scare her enemies in battle, after all, and he appearance couldn’t possibly be less threatening even if she tried. As soon as she used blood magic, though, or at least revealed that she tended to dabble in it, most people would react rather poorly. But when it came to Pol, he knew there was the varterral waiting in the cave for him, he knew that he would be killed if he dared enter it but he still ran in to try and avoid her. He preferred dying to a varterral rather than being with Merrill. Thoughts like that made it difficult for Merrill to sleep at night; confusion and homesickness.

The negative thoughts running through her mind made her want to stay in bed and curl up in the covers and avoid going out, but she couldn’t do that, she still had so much to do in the day so she couldn’t give in to having lay-ins. Besides, she needed to clean up her house, or at least she thought she needed to even after cleaning it the day before, but she found that cleaning up the house made her feel more at ease and it could take her mind off of the thoughts that were plaguing her the night before. One thing that she certainly needed to do was go out shopping and get some bread, and that was easier to do in the early morning because that was before the crowds would begin forming, and she knew for a fact that she would get lost if there were too many people around her, something would probably distract her, or she would be too polite to push past people, and it seemed clear that most people weren’t willing to step out of the way for an elf. Allowing a small sigh to escape her lips, Merrill forced herself to push away the covers and climb out of the bed, still sleepy and not yet opening her eyes, however, the cold floor on her bare feet startled the girl and jolted her wide awake before she finally realised the change in setting. This was not her home in the Elven Alienage, nor was it Darktown, Lowtown, Hightown nor anywhere in Kirkwall from the looks of it, it seemed strangely fancy so her first thought was Hawke’s estate, but that was a silly thought, this definitely wasn’t Hawke’s home.

She noticed the letter and tilted her head curiously, scanning her eyes over it as a shocked expression grew on her face. She was right! This definitely wasn’t Kirkwall, at least that was a positive, right? She could recognise when places weren’t Kirkwall, although that wasn’t particularly helpful at the time since she was told that already. She would need to battle and figure out puzzles to get back home? That sounded easy enough, she liked to think that she was pretty capable at puzzles and she was already experienced with battling creatures even if she wasn’t fond of doing so. One thing that confused her was the mention of a soulmate. What was that supposed to mean? She shook her head slightly and frowned, neatly folding up the note and deciding to keep it on her person in case it was needed. For now, though, she had to meet her “soulmate” called Keith. It was a weird name, unlike any she had heard before but she wouldn’t worry about that for now, at least she knew his name now, though, that got introductions out of the way so she wouldn’t end up stumbling over names or anything like that. That was good news, at least. Walking to the closet, Merrill spotted her staff neatly placed inside and was quick to grab it, running her hand down the wood before placing the weapon on her back, slightly eased by the thought of having it for protection. Then her attention was on the curtain. Keith must be on the other side. Taking in a breath to prepare herself for the interaction, she pulled the curtain open but was met with an empty bed and that was when she noticed the door was left open. He must have left already!

Panicked and desperate not to miss him since it seemed pretty important that they were together at least for the start, she quickly left the room and noticed a figure outside in the hall, that must have been him, right? Offering a friendly smile, the elven mage tapped Keith’s shoulder lightly to get his attention, “Er, hello there!” She greeted, her Welsh accent strong in her voice, “I’m Merrill, are you Keith? The note said that we were soulmates, I’m not really sure what that means, honestly, but it sounds pretty important, don’t you think? It also said there were battles and puzzles and that’s much easier to deal with when you have somebody with you to help! We should stick together, then, we can work together and get back home quickly if we do that, after all!” Merrill spoke quickly, trying to add in as much information she could in such a short time, since Keith left the room he must have been in a rush, so the elf would hate to keep him waiting for too long.

Cupid took a small step back when she saw her soulmate wake up from her sleep. Looking around then staring at Cupid asking her a question. The inkling girl was about to reply but noticed Ahsoka spotted the note so she stood there quietly waiting for her to finish it. "Apparently so though I ain't too happy about it honestly." Cupid huffed a bit angrily then let out a sigh. "Nice to meet you Ahsoka, I figure you already know who I am. I am Cupid." Returning the smile to her. Cupid furrowed her brows at what Ahsoka said. 'Padawan'? Cupid sure doesn't know what that is but looking at Ahsoka she isn't even from her world or place by the looks of it. "I hope that we make it out of here alive as well." Cupid placed a finger on her lips in what to say next then realized she isn't carrying her weapon nor ink tank. The inkling girl hurriedly went over to her part of the room passing the curtains. She spotted the big wardrobe on the side of her room, opening it she saw her scoped splat charger and ink tank. Putting the ink tank on as well strapping it to her back she clipped her charger with the ink tank so she doesn't have to hold it on her hands all the time. Cupid wanted to make sure if there isn't anything missing from her arsenal so she checked the drawers. As she was searching through them she spotted three stingray special cans in one. Jackpot. She shoved them in her jackets pocket making sure it won't fall out. This will be very useful whenever there is a emergency in battle.

The inkling girl was done searching through the drawers then went over to the curtains peeking over to her soulmate. "Hey are you ready to get the hell out of this place? I can wait for you though I will be at my side waiting, alright? Take your time on getting prepared but not too long." Cupid said giving Ahsoka a small wave then going back to her room. She plopped herself on the bed crossing her arms closing her eyes. How did she end up in this mess? This isn't really helping her at all since yesterday she had a pretty bad day in battles. She shook her head. No time to dwell on that its better to focus on the goal of getting out of this place and get back home then probably be at the training grounds all day letting out her anger on the test dummies. It wouldn't be too wise to take this anger over in battles, her teammates certainly doesn't deserve it, win or lose she'll still be upset over small things.

"Yes, I am. You can also call me 'Parra', if that's easier or faster for you. So where are you from and what are some of your advantages?" asked Parra. Ruby definitely wasn't from any of the Free Kingdoms since he didn't attach "princess" to the front of her name. Most Librarians could recognize her name, but all of them wore dark suits or dresses and most weren't friendly. So she guessed he was from somewhere in the Hushlands, although his outfit seemed different than usual Hushlander clothing. "If he answers both of the questions, I'll try to explain where I'm from and maybe tell him about my Warrior's Lenses. And although I doubt Ruby has any exploding teddy bears with him, he probably has something else that's useful or knows something helpful," Parra thought.

This Ian character Arctica found herself paired with took to this strange situation a lot faster than she had, and at the moment she felt relieved to be paired with someone as levelheaded as the ghostly fellow. His answer to her question was vague, and whether that was intentional or not, she couldn't be sure. Regardless, she took the opportunity to try her best to add to it, and possibly prove her usefulness. "P-Probably a lot-lot more," The stuttering frost demon added, stuffing her free hand into the kangaroo pocket of her hoodie. "I c-c-can't sense e-energy very w-well here, but there's m-m...m-m-more than five f-for sure." Once she passed along the information to the undead in front of her, Arctica bit her lip and went silent. She got the impression Ian didn't like her very much, but it was different from what she'd experienced before. Since she often avoided Legion controlled space, most worlds she visited were heavily anti-Legion, and as a result either hated or feared her kind. Usually, it was both. Ian didn't seem to recognize her as a frost demon, and rather he just despised her as a person. She wasn't sure which felt worse. Maybe I'm just not supposed to be liked... The thought occurred to Arctica. Arcosians have every reason to be feared, so maybe that's just how it is. Such a depressing idea caused her to audibly sigh, but her thoughts were soon distracted by what lay at the end of the hallway.

The rows of bedroom doors ended about twenty feet prior, and at the end of the deserted hallway was a wide, spacious lounge. The space was furnished with a collection of recliners, couches, beanbags, coffee and side tables, and various entertainment tables, some of which Arctica didn't even recognize. "Damn." She swore for the first time since she'd met Ian, and immediately her eyes widened and she covered her mouth, looking more surprised than anything else. She mouthed an apology to the ghost beside her before biting thoughtfully on her ebony colored claws. Someone put a lot of work into this, but honestly what are they even hoping to gain from it?

It seemed Clementine did greet everyone like this. Kill or be killed. Just what kind of world did this girl come from? Her accent gave her away as American, but from what he knew of the country, it was in a similar state as Japan. At least--excluding the most recent events with the League of Villains. The boy only grew more confused and concerned at her mention of creatures, and while the image of the Nomu quickly came to mind, he doubted that's what she was referring to. Clementine took charge at once, suggesting he find himself a weapon as she peered cautiously out their door. Shoto may be one of the top UA students, but it took a full minute for him to process the strangeness and suddenness of his encounter with Clementine. "Walkers?" The first question popped from his mouth before he had a chance to fully process the rest of the encounter. He continued the thought once the other young adult had stepped into the hall, Totoroki following in suit. "While I agree with you, there's probably much more to this situation than what that note let on." He began, choosing his words carefully to avoid facing the wrath of her weapon. "What's your quirk? We can work a strategy around that once I know what it is." Her quirk must not have much utility in combat, otherwise Shoto likely would find himself facing it rather than gunpoint. Nothing about her appearance gave any kind of tell either, unlike Tenya or Hanta's quirks, so reasonably nothing was off the table with what she could do. "We may have gotten off on the wrong foot earlier, and the fault is mine." It wouldn't be the first time Shoto's natural demeanor made him an enemy during his first encounter with someone. "If we're going to escape from this villain's game, we'll have to trust each other." He held up the wrist bearing the white bracelet as if to emphasize the statement. At least, I hope this is a villain's plot. If it wasn't there was no telling what kind of situation Totoroki had managed to get himself wrapped up in.

An umbra witch? Not anything Hit had heard of prior, even during his brushes with fighters from other universes. Perhaps her kind is exclusive to one of the four universes exempt from the tournament. Beyond that rather world-shattering event, the only universe beyond his own he knew anything about was the seventh. That's also where his only knowledge of the human race stemmed from. His previous though was immediately countered by her next statement, implying her kind were nearing extinction. The umbra witch before him seemed to share Hit's interest in escaping, and while she agreed to work with him, he felt some underlying whims implied. "So long as I trust you not to put a knife in my back." Hit added to the end of her statement, allowing the witch to pop a question of her own. "I'm an assassin." He responded shortly. "My skills lie primarily in martial arts, and given my occupation I trust you can make the connections on why finding myself here has my patience so short." It was rare Hit found himself in a situation where he could even remotely mention what his line of work consisted of, but given what he sensed from and had already seen from this woman, he doubted the idea would faze her, though he disliked spilling such information so freely. He hoped the answer would leave her satisfied.

      Ruby!!
xxxxmale seventeen years old green pair tagged: parramatta
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Giving a slight nod of acknowledgement, Ruby swung his legs over the edge of his bed and climbed to his feet. He supposed it would be easier to call her Parra. It would spare him from struggling with it in the future. He was actually impressed that he had gotten it on the first try. He supposed he was lucky sometimes. That much should have already been obvious to him though given everything that had gone on back in Hoenn. He was lucky to even be alive after it all. That was something to worry about at another time though. For now he needed to focus on the situation laid before him. It seemed his companion wasn’t focusing too much on it yet. Instead she was more interested in asking about him. He supposed that was a smart move though he didn’t see how his home would be of much importance in a place like this. Assessing his skill set seemed logical though the way the wiestion was posed to him made him quirk a brow. Some of his advantages? Was she trying to see which Pokemon types he had on him? No, he doubted it. She didn’t appear to have any pokeballs on her person so he could probably believe that she was not from the same world as he was. That lead him to wonder what kind of advantages she would be looking for then. It probably wasn’t worth thinking too hard about though. It was best to just answer the question with what he was capable of doing. Hopefully it would suffice. If not he was sure she’d fire another question at him. That didn’t bother Ruby all too much. Talking about himself was pretty easy anyways.

"Very well. I suppose I can jump right in to answering your questions," he finally said as he crossed his arms over his chest. Where should he even begin? Saying where he was from was probably the most logical starting point given that it was the question that had been asked first. He’d keep that part short and simple given its irrelevance to the situation they were in. "I hail from the region known as Hoenn; it is one of the eight regions that make up my home." That sounded good enough for now. If she wanted to ask more about it he’d be more than happy to speak more of Hoenn or even the other regions of he had to though their relevance to this was even less than his home one was. Deciding to move on, Ruby began to ponder over how to attack the next question. It’s meaning still was a difficult one for him to grasp. Letting a thoughtful him escape his lips, he began to quietly tap a foot on the floor as he began to work through his answer in his head. Explaining his Pokemon was probably the best route to go. They were his true source of power although he did hold the title as the charmer among the dex holders. That small detail didn’t feel important enough to share in a situation like this. Dropping an arm to his side, Ruby felt along his belt and quietly ran his fingers along the pokeballs attaches to it in attempt to tell which one held the specific Pokemon in it. After a couple seconds he plucked one free and enlarged it in his hand as he held it out to Parramatta. "My strengths come in the form of my companions which are kept inside these balls. They are of varying fighting styles and typings. In my world we call them Pokemon."

Keeping his explanation short, Ruby clicked the ball open and released the creature that was inside. Emerging from the beam came his Delcatty, Coco. The cat-like Pokemon gave a soft purr upon its release and turned to look at its trainer with a cock of its head. Smiling at his companion, the trainer’s eyes moved back to his soulmate for the moment. "This is Coco. She is one of six Pokemon I carry with me for protection. Now, I’ve answeted your questions so how about you return the favor? What exactly are you capable of?"

      Sonia Nevermind!!

      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

It didn't seem like Gao understood what exactly what she had said. Her interest in serial killers hadn't stemmed from her being in the killing game. That wasn't what she had been getting at. Actually her interest had started long before the game had. It wouldn't be rude to correct him, would it? Taking a moment to ponder it over, Sonia let a soft hum escape her lips. Deciding that it was probably best to correct him rather than letting him think wrongly, the princess gave a small shake of her head. "Well, actually, I had an interest in serial killers before the killing game. I understand it's a weird interest to have, but some of the greatest mysteries revolve around these people and I find that quite intriguing. Studying them is something that most consider unladylike, but I do not care all that much," she said. As proper as she usually was, this was the one thing she wouldn't let others sway her away from. It was really the one thing she found to be interested in that most other people would find anything intriguing about. Maybe it was just her way of rebelling against what she was usually supposed to be in to, but that didn't bother her in the slightest. Nobody ever told her to stop and even if they did, she wouldn't listen to them at all. Nobody was going to change her simply because they did not like what she wished to put her own time into. Besides, she had learned plenty of other things that she had been required to learn as a princess. From what she knew, most princesses didn't even learn such things yet here she was. That was why she was the Ultimate Princess anyways.

Snapping out of her thoughts as she heard Elijah speak up, Sonia gave a quick shake of her head at his question. She could understand why he was asking such a thing. If she were in his position, she'd be worrying about the same thing though she was less fazed by being near a killer given that she still considered several of the ones that had killed her friends. Sure they had been given the choice to ignore the motives presented to them and to try and live peacefully together, but some of them couldn't handle the pressure of being trapped. Honestly, she could understand it all given that she too had gone through it. She did not blame them for resorting to the one option they had to escape; murder. It was sad that they tried to deceive them, but then again she could understand that too. If they didn't then they would have had no chance of getting out alive. The whole killing game thing was a concept that when looking at was interesting to look over, but she would never wish it upon anyone else. Two classes had already gone through it and that was enough. Nobody else should have to deal with such a horrible thing. Too bad things like that still seemed to happen, like this situation they were currently in. "To answer your question, no, I did not kill anyone. As one of the survivors I was one of the few that managed to not kill nor be killed during the game. It is truly a miracle that I am here standing before you if I am telling you the truth," she admitted. Even though she had survived there had been a chance that she would have been killed during the shutdown process yet she had lived even that. She was grateful for that. However, she couldn't say she was grateful to be in this game. In many ways it did remind her of what she had gone through though it didn't seem that she would be forced to kill and there was no talking plush bear in sight either.

Realizing she had been pulled into her thoughts again, Sonia wrinkled her nose in annoyance as she tried to focus on their surroundings instead. They needed to find a way out of this place and she hadn't even been paying attention to where they were going. That definitely wouldn't get them anywhere. Looking at the walls as they passed, she couldn't help but find the paintings along them creepy and quite unsettling to say the least. "This place is quite dreary, wouldn't you agree?" she asked, deciding to stray away from their previous topic.

      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

"Oh darling, how can I put a knife in your back when I don't have one," she chuckled with a shake of her head. Knives really had never been her style. She much preferred swords or katanas if she had to use a bladed weapons anyways. It wasn't the range that bothered her much, but there was just something that made such weapons far more satisfying to wield that a basic knife. Besides, if she really wanted to deal with him she would do it in her own manner. Guns had always been her weapon of choice especially since Rodin had made her custom ones to work well with her own magic. It gave her less things to worry about; no need to be concerned with running out of bullets or others being able to pick them up and use them against her unless they had magic of their own that could mimic her bullet arts. It truly was beneficial for her and she was glad that she could rely on someone to make her such weapons. It was a shame that she wouldn't be able to rely on him here though. Accessing his bar was probably an impossible task from another dimension. What a shame. She'd miss his company for awhile and she was sure that he would miss her dropping in for the time being. There would be plenty of people that would be glad that she was gone, specifically the angels she had to deal with most days. Pushing such a thought from her mind, she listened to what else Hit had to say. His answer to her previous question wasn't necessarily what she had been looking for, but she would take it. It was her fault not specifying that she had meant species. Either way it provided her with some kind of information and to say that she wasn't intrigued by such would be a lie. He even was kind enough to list off what skills he had.

"An assassin, huh? I guess we're not all that different then," she remarked. By no means did Bayonetta considered herself an assassin, but the work did was somewhat similar. Of course she wasn't being hired or specifically picking targets like one might, but she was doing most of her work in relative secret. That was thanks to being able to travel to other other realms of her world and hide away from the humans she was usually surrounded by. None would ever suspect her of being any different than they were anyways. Actually, she was basically human albeit she belonged to the Umbra clan and had made pacts with demons. That was the one reason she truly set herself apart from the average human and perhaps the fact that she didn't age or anything like they did also helped. It was why she often referred to herself as a witch rather than an actual human. It gave a whole different vibe as to who she was. "Well, I guess if you are eager to get out of here then we best find a way out. Standing here much longer won't do us any good." Glancing toward the window on the other side of the room, Bayonetta moved towards it to see if it would be possible to escape from. A fall from a high place wouldn't bother her all too much and she could always transform into a crow if she needed to anyways. She doubted that ability had been taken from her. Placing a hand against the "glass" she could tell that whatever this was made of it was much more durable than ordinary glass. Clearly whoever had brought them her had thought such a thing through. Escape from this room to the outside world immediately didn't seem like it would be an option.

"It seems whomever trapped us here has truly thought ahead. Leaving this room is our best option," she confirmed before stepping away from the window and moving back towards the door. It made sense why such an option would be taken away from them. It wouldn't play into the whole game this matchmaker seemed to be setting up. Whatever awaited them outside these doors was probably something that would push them, especially if there was a chance of dying. In a way it did excite the umbra witch yet at the same time she much rather be spending her time with other things. Stopping at the door, she glanced towards Hit once more. "Shall we proceed?" Usually she wouldn't bother to ask, but for now she would play nice. Stepping aside, she decided to let him be the one to lead the way.

      Ren Amamiya!!
xxxxmale seventeen years old crimson pair tagged: hana
      ────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────────

Sitting in silence for a few moments allowed Ren to collect his thoughts and process the information he already had gotten from the letter. Even so he could help but feel that somehow this place was tied to the Metaverse. Why else would he have been immediately changed into his outfit from such? No matter how much he attempted to think it over, he couldn't bring himself to any other answers and like he had already come to, he wouldn't be able to figure it out until he left the room. Maybe he should have done that already. It would have been a better use of his time than sitting around waiting for his soulmate to wake up. Even then if he would have left it would have been entirely possible that she could have woken up while he was gone and thought he had abandoned her from the start. That certainly wouldn't have been a good start to things. In both options he had there really was no winning for him. Staying put made him feel as if he were wasting his time, but yet it felt necessary. Letting a defeated sigh escape his lips, Ren lifted his gaze from the floor and averted it to the dresser that sat across from the end of his bed. On top of it he could see both his usual dagger and pistol sitting on it. That left him with even more questions. It was clear that this place didn't want to leave him unarmed if so his weapons would have been confiscated. That only made it obvious that there was going to be some kind of battle awaiting him while he was here. Such a thing came as no surprise to him though. At this point he was used to being put into dangerous situations ever since his persona had awoken. He'd just have to deal with it if he wished to return home.

Deciding that he should collect his things, Ren prepared to push himself from the bed when a voice caught his attention and drew his attention to it. Looking at Hana in silence, it was more than obvious that she was not in an overly friendly kind of mood. Actually it was quite the opposite. Her body language and tone of voice gave that much away. That wasn't the only thing he picked up on though. Her initial greeting towards him was interesting as well. Whatever she had said it hadn't been in Japanese nor in English albeit his English was a bit rough. He still understood the language well enough though to know if someone was speaking it and the phrase following hey most definitely hadn't been such. That was the least of his worries though. Words never had bothered him all too much especially since he had started attending Shujin. He constantly was hearing bad things about himself from other students that he had become relatively immune to any kinda of name calling. He still couldn't help but wonder exactly what she had said to him though. Now didn't seem like the time to ask especially since she had a pistol of her own in hand and from the way she was holding it, it was clear she knew had to handle the weapon. Most amateurs would be far more nervous with such a thing yet she held it with a kind of poise albeit it wasn't in a shooting position yet. Still he had to be wary about it. If she was skilled with the gun like he suspected then she could easily start firing it at him if he made a wrong move.

With that in mind, the teen decided it was best not to go for his weapons just yet like he had been planning to do. Even without them, he figured he would be alright for the time being. If she did try to shoot him, there was still a chance he would be able to dodge it or even call upon Arsene to help him. The persona never really had been much of a shield, but he was sure it was still a possibility that it could act as one if he needed it though if it got hit, he would still feel its pain in some manner. Perhaps that wasn't the best option then. If anything he wished to avoid any unnecessary conflict anyways. Even though he had no plans of betraying her, it was possible that she already had thought to betray him. That certainly would appeal to the matchmaker of this twisted game. He was probably waiting for something like that to happen. Even so he didn't want to become the first victim of this game. By no means did he have any plans on dying here if he had any say in it. There was no way he was going to leave his friends back home worrying about what had happened to him or where he had gone off to. That only was enough reason for him to survive this place. What other reason would he need? Surely this Hana before him had similar thoughts. If that was true then did she think he was a threat to her safety in this place? It was possible. Honestly he wouldn't blame her. He was considered a criminal back home and even though nobody knew that he was the leader of the Phantom Thieves besides the others in the group, his place among them only made it worse for him in regards to being just or not. What they did was something that many in the current society were quite conflicted about. That was something she wouldn't know about him though. Even his criminal record should be something she was unaware of yet she still seemed to be on edge around him. Maybe he should have expected that in a place like this. Not everyone could be calm.

Giving a small shake of his head, Ren figured he should probably answer the questions she had fired at him. Usually it was fine if he stayed relatively quiet, but he doubted Hana was going to be alright with that. He was fine with that. Talking wouldn't hurt although he avoided it back home to keep himself out of more trouble than he had already been brought in to. Here he wouldn't have to worry about such things. Besides communication was probably for the best. Rolling his shoulders back, he heaved a soft sigh before he climbed to his feet with his hands up in attempt to keep her from shooting just in case she thought he might pull a quick one on her. "I haven't been awake for long," he finally said. "Only long enough to read the letter and change into these clothes. That is it." That seemed believable although he hadn't necessarily needed to take time to change anyways. She didn't need to know that though. It was probably best she didn't anyways especially since he wasn't even sure if they were in the Metaverse or not. If that was the case then he needed to figure out how it was possible for to take on such an appearance. For now he didn't want to worry about it though. Lowering his hands slowly, he dropped them to his sides figuring that he had given her enough time to realize he wasn't about to pull something on her. "As for staying put, I thought it would be better than leaving. I apologize if that was a mistake on my part." At those words he gave a small, apologetic dip of his head. Maybe it would have been best to try and search the area if she was getting this upset over it. It never had crossed his mind that him waiting for her might have made her uncomfortable.

Raising his head after a moment, Ren gestured toward her gun. "Is it possible for you to put that away? I'm not going to hurt you," he told her with a sincere look on his face. He had no reason to do so. She was no target of his so why would he have a reason to go after her. Besides they were both in this situation together. In a way it was like his first time in the Metaverse with Ryuji. Both of them had been confused, lost and wanting to escape. This really was no different. The biggest difference from then to now was he wasn't as fearful as he had been back then. This almost felt somewhat normal to him as odd as that seemed. He couldn't say it was the same for her though. Judging from her actions, he figured that nothing even similar to this had ever happened to her. It was completely understandable. That only made him believe more that it was best for them to stick together. Even if she went on to say she wanted nothing to do with him, he would try to convince her that sticking together was in their best interest. The last thing he wanted on his conscious was someone's death which he figured was likely possible if this place was dangerous like the letter hinted it would be. By no means did he underestimate her strength or anything like that, but going off alone was definitely a bad choice. He was even a bit concerned for his own safety though he was quite confident in his own abilities. Being overconfident would only cause problems though. He had learned that through dealing with the few palaces he had done thus far.

"Look, I understand that this is probably all strange for you, but I'm in the same position," he decided to continue. It almost felt strange for him to talk this much all at once, but at the same time it was a necessity. If he didn't stand up for himself, nobody would. There was no Ryuji or Ann around to stick up for him. This was all on him and nobody else. That was fine. It wasn't as if he couldn't do it himself anyways. His desire to fight back against society and stand up for himself was the reason why his persona had awaken in the first place. There was no way he was going to let talking be what stood in his way of doing such a thing. Glancing towards his own weapons, he moved his hand to gesture towards them next. "I'm unarmed as you can see." Hopefully that would defuse any desire she had to shoot him. That seemed to be a common theme here. Hope. Hope was never something he wanted to rely much on though he often did when it came to changes of heart. To think hope would follow him here was a bit concerning, but he'd have to live with it. It wasn't the worst thing to have. He much rather be hoping than relying on something like luck. That would definitely be much worse. Pushing the thought out of his head, his gaze moved back to Hana and he dropped his arm back to his side. "I know you think I wasn't being useful by sitting around, but I assure you that I can prove to be of use to you in this place. I'm sure you don't want to stay here long nor do I so working together might be in our best interest."

He was more than prepared to bargain with her if he needed. That was a skill he had gained whilst dealing with shadows. It had proved useful for sure and he was certain it would be in this situation if she insisted on being stubborn and refusing to work with him though he had given her no reason to do so. He was more than prepared for things not to be overly easy though he wouldn't have thought it would have started with his partner being difficult. Hopefully it wouldn't be a reoccurring thing if she agreed to his suggestion of them working together. He was used to the others being rather easy to work with, but that was probably because they all had been wronged by society. That was what drew them together and allowed them to work so well with one another. If things went that easily with Hana, he would be more than thrilled. Either way, he was prepared to make things work to assure that they both made it out of this place alive and found a way back home. There was no reason he had to feel this way towards an absolute stranger, but that was how things had started last time too. He had barely known Ryuji for five minutes before they had somehow stumbled into Kamoshida's palace. Of course in this situation neither of them had stumbled into this place, but it was still similar. Besides, if this place was a castle like it seemed to be then there was nobody better at navigating such a place than himself. He had experience given that a castle was exactly what Kamoshida's palace had been like. "I can offer my skills to help you get out of this place if you'd like or if you think that is a bad deal then you can try to shoot me."

Ren's voice was firm as he spoke those words. He was dead serious about it. Truly the choice was hers. In a way it was scary not having a firm idea of what she might do, but he believed that she would make the right choice. She didn't seem like the overly hostile type. Maybe that was his mistake. He'd find out soon enough. All he could do was mentally prepare himself for what she would do. If she decided to fire, what would he do? Moving as quickly as possible was really his only option. That never had been a problem for him though it still worried him that he might not be quick enough. He may have outrun shadows and dodged plenty of attacks while battling, but that didn't mean his quickness would come through this time around. He'd probably have to rely on luck of all things. Even though he was worried about the outcome, it didn't show on his face. Actually throughout everything his face stayed entirely calm and even his body remained in a rather relaxed state. That alone might cause him trouble, but he wanted the opposite from it. If anything he wanted it to send the message that he wasn't a bad guy and that she could trust him. Besides, it wasn't like him to show all too much emotion anyways. He was a relatively reserved boy by other people's standards. If she wanted some kind of emotion from him though he'd attempt to let it show. Whatever helped best make his case. Thinking in that way almost made him feel needy. It was disgusting, but it was what he had to do. Of course if they stuck together there didn't need to be any kind of romance between the two of them like the whole soulmate thing suggested. All it needed to be was a mutual trust of having each others back and finding a way home. That felt simple enough. He didn't need anything more than that and he was sure that she would feel the same way. The whole soulmate thing definitely wasn't up his alley nor did he wish to believe someone could so easily determine that for him. Love was something that couldn't be so easily determined or so that was how he thought. Clearly the matchmaker didn't have the same way of thinking. Each to their own he supposed.

Pushing the thought to the back of his mind, Ren couldn't help but wonder if that was how Hana felt on the situation as well. It was an odd thing to think about if he was being honest. Soulmates wasn't a term that was used all too often nor did he really think of it at his age. Honestly he had other things he had to concern himself with; the usual things that teenagers had to worry about. It was always school and homework and things along those lines. Of course he had the Metaverse stuff on top of that now. That was most definitely something unique to him and his friends though. He knew other teenagers weren't running around changing people's hearts like he was. Looking Hana over quietly, he figured she didn't live much of a normal life either. Her clothing option said otherwise or at least that was what he assumed. No normal girl would go around wearing a suit like she had on. So what exactly could she be doing that required an outfit like that? She could probably ask him the same question now that he thought it over. It was probably best not to ask then. Even so there weren't any girls other than Ann that he knew wore suits like she was wearing. Ann had a reason for it though. She was a thief. Was it possible that Hana was more like him than he thought. He really did doubt it. Her outfit definitely didn't give off the vibe of being a thief. Honestly it was hard for him to truly decipher what she was dressed for. Maybe she was some cosplayer or something along those lines. Realizing that he probably had been looking at her for longer than he should have, Joker averted his gaze from her hoping to not make things uncomfortable. He really shouldn't be doing such things if he wanted to avoid getting shot right away. Getting stared at would make any girl uncomfortable. Ann had taught him that much. "Sorry..." he managed to utter out though it was barely audible. It was clear that in this brief moment he found himself embarrassed by his own actions. He really did need to be more careful. If he kept going down this path he would surely get on the wrong side of this girl and he wasn't entirely sure he wanted that at all.

The girl just kept talking and to be fair, Axolotl had expected it. All the energy was just like his friend as he had noticed just a few moments ago, so he had already gave in to the idea that this was just how things were going to be. The fact that she decided not to call him by his name did make the octoling sigh, but it didn't rub him the wrong way. If someone couldn't pronounce his name right, he didn't mind at all. It's better that she at least called him something, even if it was just a nickname. When it came down to calling her 'Jackie' though, he wasn't entirely sure. He isn't one to actually call someone by a nickname, the whole process making him feel a bit awkward. Hopefully, she wouldn't mind if he kept calling her Jacqueline. When the girl held out her hand, Axolotl let go of his brush with and took her hand in his own, shaking it to return the greeting. It surprised him slightly that they had the same customs, especially since they didn't seem anything alike at all. He ended up slinging his weapon over his shoulder, leaving his free hand by his side.

As Jacqueline kept talking, Axolotl offered her a small smile, only for it to falter as she went on about being human and asking if he was an alien. The simple fact that she called herself human left the octoling in shock. There was no way that this girl should be standing in front of him right this second. Humans had been extinct for so long that it was impossible for them to ever return through evolution or any other bizarre method inkling scientists may be developing. Yet here she was, all bubbly and chatty and acting like her being alive was completely normal. To be honest, he had no idea how to even react to this except stare at her with a slightly parted mouth. Thankfully he had been paying attention to what else the girl was saying, because if he hadn't, he'd have missed out on a question he had himself. How are they speaking the same language?

Axolotl ended up setting the brush down against the wall to better get his bearings to speak. Answering these questions would be difficult yet he should be able to, so he took a deep breath.
"I'm not alien, I'm octoling. I don't know why we talk in same language, it is definitely the bizarre. How could you know inkling or octoling language?" He paused for a bit to let her answer before he continued. "How are you human? 12,000 years ago humans disappeared, great flood made humans extinct. Only mammals alive are the cats Judd and Lil' Judd." As he asked about Jacqueline being a human, his hand reached out slightly towards her, but he quickly pulled it back.
