Megan scowled, tugging at the sheets.
"How can we be together when you're starving yourself?!" she yelled, tears in her eyes.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex frowned at her. "The same way we can be together when you're starving yourself." He retorted.

[Kisiel]

"But you still have a chance!" she defended herself.
Megan felt a tear running down her cheek, but refused the temptation to wipe it off.

Alex climbed off his bed, going over and sitting on hers. He wiped her tear away with his thumb. "Don't you dare give up on yourself... Not while I'm still here with you."

Megan flinched at the threat.
"I'm not giving up," she sighed, her gaze falling on her hands. "But it might be to late for me..."
She tried to relax, to calm down, but gave up after a few tries of counting to ten in her head.
"You still have a chance," she repeated.

"And so do you." Alex said, refusing to give up on her. "You sound like you're giving up..." He muttered, looking at her sadly.

"You don't know the state my body is in..." she began, thinking about what she was about to admit next. "Alex, I'm over ten kilograms underweight."

Alex paled, his eyes shutting sadly. "If you're still alive, there's still a chance of saving you from yourself." He said determinedly. "But there's nothing I can do if you've already given up." He muttered, feeling like a psychologist.

[Kisiel]

"Last time I weighed myself," she continued," was over three weeks ago. I definitely lost weight from that time... After all, I eat approximately every three days."

Alex sighed, feeling the hopelessness of it all. He wasn't about to give up on her though. He stayed silent for a little. "Why did you pull out the needle?"
