Megan looked up at him, burrying her stare in his eyes.
"You're joking, right?" she asked, the smile on her face growing.

Alex shook his head, completely serious. "I'm giving you a choice..." He said, smiling. He wasn't about to force her into a relationship.

[Kisiel]

Oh. My. God.
"I'd love to..." she paused again. What, love you? Megan thought, angry at her bad choice of words.

Alex saw a flash of anger in her expression. He let go of her hand sadly, looking away from her and staring at the wall.

"What is it?" she asked, wonsering why he had let go.

Alex just shook his head and lay down on his bed. He stared up at the ceiling and wondered what was going to happen now. She had practically told him she didn't really want to be with him.

"Alex!" she raised her vioce a little, desperate for an answer.
Megan didn't want it to end like that.
But also, she didn't know how to put her thoughts into words.

"Yes?" He mumbled, turning his face reluctantly to her. His expression was stoic and hid all of the hurt he was feeling. His heart thumped painfully in his chest as he looked at her.

"Say something!" she shiftet a little, hoping to get a little closer to Alex.
Her eyes were scanning his face for any signs of emotion.

Alex griped his sheets, not liking what he was about to say. "If you don't want to be with me... You don't have to be." He muttered sadly. "I don't want to be in a relationship you dont want so... We won't be."
