"Don't get me started..." Kieran said angrily.
"It's nothing to do with you!" she yelled.
But the other boy raised a fist and aimed at Megan.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex saw his raised fist with wide eyes. He took a quick step in front of her, catching his fist in his palm before it could connect with him or Megan. "Can't let you hit a girl, can I?" He asked rhetorically with a smirk on his face.

[Kisiel]

Kieran scowled loudly.
"Then I'll take it out on you!"
He raised his other hand and punched Alex in the stomach. Megan backed away watching the two boys.
She couldn't do anything because of her illness: her movements were slow and there was no way she could defend Alex.

Alex doubled over, a scowl on his face. He sent back a roundhouse kick, careful to dodge any other hits from Keiran. He was caxreless however, letting in a few hits. He was going to get a bruise on his cheek the next day, he knew it.

[Kisiel]

"STOP!" Megan yelled and she felt her energy being drained away by the exercise.
Not again...
The two boys completley ignored her and kept on fighting violently.

Alex tried to stop Keiran. He really did. He grasped both fists, trying to stop him. Soon, he got kicked and it was going to bruise. His eyes widened as the glint of a knife caught his eye from Keiran's pocket.

[Kisiel]

"STOP!" she shouted again, but for the second time she was ignored.
Megan also noticed the knife in his pocket, but there was nothing that she could do, even if he attacked with it.
But after all, Alex was a kidnapper... but no, that wasn't the was she had to think. Alex needed help and whatever happened, Megan had to help him save his mum.
Suddenly Kieran took a few steps back, breaking the fight. He reached for his pocket and took out the sharp knife, pointing at Alex.
Crap...

Alex cursed quietly, his eyes flashing as he thought of a plan. He tried to knock the knife from his hand, succeeding but getting his wrist sliced in the process. He hissed, punching Kieran and knocking him out.

As Kieran fell to the ground, Megan started running towards Alex but she noticed the blood on his wrist and stopped.
"Are you alright?" she asked, worried that if he lost too much blood, things could get bad.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex nodded, a grim smile on his face. "I'll be fine." He said, a hand pressing down on the wound. His blood was seeping through his fingers as the cut was deep. "Come on... Let's get outta here..." He muttered, walking away.
