"So..." Megan said thoughtfully. "Do I live here? With you?" she added after a moment of silence. The drug she had taken thw day bedore was now showing its effect on her. It helped her in getting rid of the pain for. While, but now it was making her forget everything.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"Somethig like that. I'm giving you a place to stay for a while." Alex said, twisting the truth. He smiled over at her gently.

[Kisiel]

"For a while?" she asked worried. "What about after the 'while'?"

[Midnight Butterfly]

"By then, you'll be back on your feet, all healthy. Then you can pick to stay here or move out." Alex explained, wondering if the drug's effect was temporary or permanent.

[Kisiel]

"Alright." Megan laughed suddenly. "What's up with you?" She pulled one knee up and rested her chin on it.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"Just wondering how long your memory loss is going to last." Alex said, shrugging lightly. "I'm making breakfast." He said, standing up and going over to the small kitchen.

[Kisiel]

She wondered too. Her thoughts travelled off into the distance, somewhere where she couldn't remember. Megan watched Alex as he prepared breakfast, slowly realising what was wrong with her, and hoping that her body will deal with the drug.

Alex had made a quick bowl of cereal, going over to the sofa and sat down to eat. "Help yourself if you get hungry..." He muttered before scooping the cereal into his mouth.

[Kisiel]

"Okay," she replied, but didn't eat. Megan had to think of a way to get her memory back. Alex could have been hiding some facts from her, which worried her a bit. She watched him as he ate, wondering when was the last time he did.

Alex finished off his cereal and found himself still hungry so made a few slices of toast. He buttered them before eating again.
