"Actually," she said smiling at him,"I wasn't going anywhere."

Alex rose an eyebrow at her. "So why did you try to move?" He asked, giving her a confused look. He shook his head, baffled and splattered water everywhere.

Megan laughed, shutting her eyes as the water splashed on her face. "So you want me to stand here?" she said, grinning. Even though Alex dissapeared only for a couple of minutes, she was happy to see him again.

Alex stuck his tongue out childishly. "Come on then... I need to grab a shirt." He said, helping to his room. Water ran down his face and he wrinkled his nose, a hand coming up to wipe it away.

She followed him happily.
"How long have you been living alone?" she asked, changing the subject.

"A couple of months... I haven't been able to move away from home because of my mum..." Alex explained. This was still his mother's home. She just hadn't been there in a while.

"Is she coming back here?" Megan continued questioning him.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"When she gets better." Alex replied optimistically. As with all surgery, there was a risk of death.

[Kisiel]

"That's good," Megan said, and with her words she tried to walk out of the room. She had a feeling that Alex would prefer to be alone, now that she asked some questions about his mum. Perhaps when she came back home, Alex will let Megan go back to her own mansion. Yeah, kidnapped for the second time, she thought. Megan couldn't remember much from the day before, especially the fact that nobody wanted her to go back home.

Alex watched her leave, pulling on a shirt from his wardrobe. He shook out his hair, feeling it dry slightly. He followed her out, not wanting her to injure herself more. "I need to change your bandages." He said, showing her the first aid kit.
