It took her a long while before she opened her eyes again.
"What happened?" she asked, half awake.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex grinned in relief as she woke up. "You fainted on me..." He said gently. "I got your medicine." He said with a soft smile, holding it up for her to see.

[Kisiel]

"Thanks. if you haven't brought it, I could have been dead."
There was something different in her. She watched Alex carefully, studying his every move.
His intentions were quite clear, but...
"What will you do if my parents refuse to give you money?" she asked.

Alex dreaded the idea. "I don't know..." He said quietly, his head in his hands as he thought of his mother. "I really don't know..." He said lifting his head.

"Because they probably won't. Don't you think?"
Megan wanted to test him a little. After all, he kidnapped her and saved her life.
He's a bit strange... she thought.

"What?" Alex asked, raising an eyebrow. "Don't your parents care?" He looked at her with a slightly pitying look on his face. "I mean, you're their daughter..."

Megan laughed bitterly.
"I might be their daughter, but that doesn't change the fact that they don't really care. I'm eighteen, they say I should be able to handle with life on my own."

"Harsh..." Alex said quietly. He cursed. "I need that money..." He said , kicking the floor. This was his last resort, his last chance to save his mum. He looked over at Megan. "Do you have any? Any at all?" He asked, looking over at her desperately.

"I'll see what I can do. But why do you need it soo badly?"
Now Megan was seriously concerned about this guy...

"My mum's in hospital..." Alex said quietly, his head hung. He let his fringe fall over his eyes, hiding them. "She's dying and we can't afford the surgery..."
