Megan soon opened her eyes, hoping that Alex remained in his place. She smiled faintly as he noticed that he was still there. She pulled her hand out of Alex's, and gently ran her fingers all the way down his arm.

Alex shivered lightly, falling back next to her on the bed. He smiled, rolling onto his side and watched her. He trailed his fingers over her cheek gently before playing with some of her hair.

Megan suddenly closed he eyes an curled into a tight ball, her arms wrapped round her stomach once more. "It's okay..." she gasped, trembling slightly. The pain was back, but it wasn't too strong, as if it was getting bored of bothering Megan. But ahe knew it'd was just playing tricks on her, and it would flood er again later.

Alex could do nothing but wait. He lay, worried as he watched her. He bit his lip lightly, sighing.

Megan bit her tongue not to scream, and waited patiently for the pain to die away. A few moments later it did, and she slowly opened her eyes, letting out a sigh of relief. She didn't straighten herself, and remained curled up on the bed beside Alex.

"Megan...?" Alex mumbled after a while, worried for her. She hadn't moved yet and he didn't know if that meant she was still in pain or not.

"Hmmm...?" Megan murmured, lifting her gaze to look at Alex. She was still in her position, afraid to change it, in case her body decided to protest again.

Alex shifted so she could look at him at a more comfortable position. "Are you okay?" He asked, his fingers brushing through her hair.

"I think I'll be fine," Megan whispered, nodding briefly before releasing her grip around her stomach. She let her arms rest in front of her, her fingers slightly outstretched on the mattress.

Alex nodded, starting to trace patterns on her hand, trailing up her forearm slowly. He smiled softly, glad she was okay for now.
