"Not a good idea..." Megan muttered, accepting the fact that she would be alone again. "I'm scared Alex..." she whispered, turning her head away from him again.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex hugged her tightly. "I could call in sick... I haven't had a sick day in all my time I've worked there, so it could work..." He suggested thoughtfully.

[Kisiel]

"No," Megan replied immediately. "Go to work. I'll be fine."
She let Alex hug her, but didn't react in any way.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex pulled away, his hands on her shoulders. "Are you sure?" He asked, still not wanting to go without her. He didn't like the idea of her being alone.

[Kisiel]

"Yeah... " Megan murmured, brushing Alex's hands off her shoulders. She stood up and limped over to the window, shaking slightly.

Alex sighed. "Alright..." He said, going to the bathroom and getting ready for his job. "I'll try get back as soon as I can." He told her, coming back into his room.

Megan sat back down on the bed as soon as Alex left the room. She was getting more stressed with every minute, yet she remained calm, not wanting Alex to notice how scared she actually was. She closed her eyes, taking in a few deep breaths. "Okay," she said as Alex informed her when he'd be back.

Alex smiled, walking over. "I'll see you later." He mumbled, kissing her gently before pulling back and sighing.

Megan smiled, but her eyes remained sad. "See you after eleven," she whispered. A slight shiver of excitement ran through her as Alex pulled away. "I'll be waiting..."

Alex smiled. "Bye..." He mumbled, walking out of the room and grabbing his keys. He left the house, heading to work.
