Megan nodded, taking in a deep breath. "Lets go," she said, a smile playing at the edge of her lips.
She was happy that they would be able to spend some time together, away from the hospital.

Alex nodded, squeezing her hand reassuringly. He started to walk to the restaurant, opening the door for her with a cocky smile on his face, ruining the whole gentlemanly vibe of the gesture.

Megan giggled, and scanned the place, searching for a table somewhere in a corner. "There," she pointed to a small one, away from other customers.

((sorry, I had a fight with my dad... My punishment? I won't have a bed for the night, and I'll be sleeping on the floor. Again))

Alex smiled, taking her hand again and walking over. Once seated, they were met by a waiter, who handed them their menus. Alex started to read through it, wondering what to pick.

Megan glanced at the menu, her nose wrinkling up in disgust at the sight of so many different meals. She turned thw page over to the soup sections, the names not reminding her of anything at all. With another sigh, she placed the menu down on the table, her stare lifting up to Alex.

Alex looked up at her and rose an eyebrow. "That was quick..." He muttered, finally picking out his food. "Have you picked yet?" He asked curiously.

"No," Megan replied simply. "I'm a little afraid to eat..."
She glanced at the menu once more, hoping that there was something that wouldn't make her sick.

Alex nodded. "Well... Vegetable soup or chicken soup or maybe their tomato soup? It's really nice..." He suggested thoughtfully. He smiled at her, placing down his menu.

"I think I'll take tomato soup," Megan mumbled, looking round the room.
She noticed a group of people around her age, sitting together. They have joined two tables, as the group was rather large. Some of them were shooting strange glances towards Megan and Alex. Intrigued, Megan stared at them for a brief moment, but soon her attention was back to her partner, and the roars of laughter from the other table didn't bother her for a while.

Alex nodded, waving the waiter back over. "Tomato soup for her and I'll have a plate of lasagne and a coke please. Oh... What drink do you want, Megan?" He asked gently.
