Megan shivered when Alex kissed her head, but she remained in her position.
They sat like that together, quiet sobs breaking the silence.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex's fingers started to play with her hair, tangling in it and twirling it gently between his fingers. He smiled, noticing her hair had grown a little since the last time he had done this. He didn't know why but it kept him occupied and entertained.

[Kisiel]

Realising that Alex didn't notice her quiet sobs, Megan attempted to calm down, biting down on her lip.
She could feel his hand in her hair, and she tried to imagine how bad it looked. After all, it's been weeks since she got it cut, and its increasing lenght was beginning to annoy her.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex felt his shirt grow damp with tears and he looked at her in surprise. "Megan...?" He muttered, lifting her head from his chest. "What's wrong?" He asked, feeling guilty for not noticing her sobs earlier.

[Kisiel]

"Nothing..." she mumbled, looking away. "I'm just... Happy."
Megan smiled faintly, another tear running down her cheek, soon followed by another.

Alex smiled, his hand cupping her cheek. He wiped her tears away gently, his fingers swiping across her cheeks. He kissed her gently. "Me too." He whispered as he pulled away slightly.

[Kisiel]

Megan frowned. "That was quick," she muttered childishly.
She smiled again, hoping that Alex would continue what he started.

Alex grinned at her, pressing his lips to hers again and kissing her deeply. He smiled slightly, still kissing her. He would let her pull away when she wanted to this time.

[Kisiel]

She didn't. Not for a long time.
Finally she pulled away, gasping for air. "Best medicine for everything," she whispered, resting her head against Alex's. Megan closed her eyes, breathing heavily, but the smile was still playing on the edge of her lips.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex was breathing heavily, his eyes still shut. His lips were slightly red now and finally he opened his eyes to take in the sight. He smiled, slowly regaining his breath. He let his arms drop to around her waist and let out a content sigh as his breath caught up. His heart was still beating quickly in his cheat and he wondered if she knew what she did to him.
