"Alex..." she hesitated before continuing. "I haven't got tired of you. It's just that since I met you... I have been constantly hurt."
Megan's explanation was short, but there was nothing else she had to say.
"God, I'm so selfish..."

Alex looked back at her with a small sigh. "True... Maybe you'd be better off without me." He mused, feeling a little depressed as he said this.

Megan's eyes widened at his words.
"No... You're the only one I have left..." she said, sounding just like Alex before.

"Exactly what I said about you, was it not?" Alex asked but didn't wait for an answer. He sighed. "I'm not going to leave you, no matter what I say."

[Kisiel]

"I don't want you to leave me," Megan muttered, raising her stare to meet his eyes. "I can't believe you thought that I didn't want-"
The reality was slowly showing itself to Megan. How could you ever think that?

[Midnight Butterfly]

"Why not?" Alex asked. "You said so yourself... Ever since you met me, you've been constantly hurt. Constantly injured." He said quietly. "I wouldn't be surprised if you wanted me to leave."

[Kisiel]

Megan let out a deep sigh, staring deep into Alex's eyes.
"I'll go through any pain just to be with you." she whispered.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex sighed. "I hope so... I've said it before but I'll say it again; I can't live without you." He smiled gently at her, really hoping she wasn't just sparing his feelings, that she was actually telling the truth.

Megan shifted her position to get closer to Alex, and wrapped her arms around him in a gentle hug.
"I know," she mumbled, placing her head on his shoulder.

Alex looked down in surprise, not expecting it. He smiled softly, hugging her back silently. He shut his eyes and sighed contentedly. He kissed the crown of her head gratefully, glad he had someone like her.
