Megan's eyes suddenly snapped open and she lifted her head in surprise. Her stomach was twisting incredibly, and she grabbed Alex's arm, hoping that she would be able not to scream.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex's eyes widened, holding her comfortingly. "If you need to scream, cover your mouth or bite me or something." He told her quickly, hoping the pain would go quickly.

[Kisiel]

Megan bit down on her lip, a drop of blood escaping from under her tooth. She closed her eyes, the pain slowly decreasing. "Bite you?" she whispered, breathing heavily.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"Sometimes it's easier to bite than to cover." Alex explained with a shrug. He pulled away slightly and frowned at the sight of blood. "Did it hurt that much?" He asked, swiping his thumb over her soft lips gently.

[Kisiel]

Megan nodded briefly in response. "It was... A lot worse than before..." she muttered, sliding off Alex's chest. She swung her legs down on the ground, and placed her head in her palms.

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex swiped his thumb on a tissue quickly before sitting next to her. "Megan...?" He whispered uncertainly. "What's wrong?" He bit his lip worriedly.

[Kisiel]

"It hurts so much..." Megan mumbled without looking up. "It's as if something was burning down my stomach, twisting it like a rope. And then, it just dissapears, only to come back, stronger each time..."
She shook her head, dreading the moment when the pain will flood her again.

Alex frowned. "It went away for a long time earlier, before you went to sleep..." He said, confused. He sighed, a frustrated hand ruffling up his own hair.

[Kisiel]

"It wasn't as bad..." she explained

Alex sighed, putting his head in his hands for a minute while he thought. "I have no idea what to do..." He mumbled, his voice strained as he desperately searched through his memories of medical journals he read in science once.
