"Yes. I'm dying," she whispered sadly.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"Then I've got nothin left to live for." Alex said, his eyes showing the burdens he had been carrying his entire life. "My mum died, Megan. Yesterday. The only thing keeping me from falling into depression was you." He admitted. "If I had gotten that money earlier... She might have lived. If I had met you earlier, we wouldn't be in this situation."

Megan gasped, shredding a tear.
"Alex..." she mumbled, taking a step towards him. "Why hadn't you told me?"
A loud sob shook her body.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"That's why. I didn't want to see you cry." He mumbled, his arms hanging limply at his sides. He took a step closer, blood still dripping from his hands. "Don't cry..."

[Kisiel]

"Alex! Your mother is dead," another sob ran through her. "It's all my fault..."
She wrapped her arms around him, ignoring the awful pain in her arms.
"I'm so sorry..."

[Midnight Butterfly]

Alex held her, letting the tears he had held in fall from his eyes. "Why is it your fault?" He asked, starting to feel the severe stinging in his hands.

[Kisiel]

"I'm so sorry..." she repeated, sobbing.
Megan realised that her blood was dripping onto Alex's clothes, staining the red.
"If I hadn't fainted that day... We would have had enough time to save your mum..."

Alex buried his head in the crook of her neck, her shirt staimed by his tears and blood. He sighed, knowing she wouldn't last long with her condition and the amount of blood she had lost already. And he didn't know if she even wanted to live any more.

Megan started breathing heavily.
"Alex... ? What's going on?" she asked, slightly panicking.

[Midnight Butterfly]

"You're dying..." He repeated his earlier words brokenly. "I- I don't want you to go..." He whispered, holding her a little longer before pulling away. "I don't know what to do... You want to die."
