Ahri woke with a start, having dozed off into a nightmare for the second time that day. After a moment of brief panic, the man let out a deep sigh. He pushed up from the slumped over position he slept in, a soft whimper escaping him as one of his muscles cramped uncomfortably. He moved a hand behind his neck to rub at the muscle as he stood, stepping out of the dark of his shelter. He figured he'd be better off collecting herbs, that way he wouldn't fall asleep quite as easily.
The sun burned his eyes as he stepped into it, moving a hand to rub at them as he let his eyes adjust to the different lighting. He looked around the camp, a bit dazed from only recently waking. He was looking for the familiar sight of his twin but she was no where to be seen, making him worry a bit. He'd have to wait for her return to do anything practical with his time, too fearful to even attempt navigating the forest on his own. He let out another sigh, crouching to wait for his sister. He raised his eyes to the sky, watching as clouds drifted overhead.
A blinding flash of silver pierced through the sky, making Ahri furrow his brow in confusion. He pushed himself off of the ground and quickly made his way to Marnal's shelter.
"U-um, Marnal?" He called softly, too nervous to enter without permission.

Arlo quickly broke into a sprint, grabbing the deer by one of its heads and hauling it away from the stream just as a river snake launched itself out to try to snap at the deer. She stuck her tongue out to the snake, pulling the deer further away to ensure that the river dweller wouldn't continue its attempts to steal her prey.
After dragging it a good ways, she dropped it and let out a huff. This thing was huge! How in the world was she supposed to get it back to camp on her own? She scolded herself for biting off more than she could chew, grabbing the deer once again to haul it a few paces away before taking another break. This would be a pain. She lifted her eyes to the sky to catch a glimpse of something hurtling towards the ground. She put a hand on her hip and scratched her head in confusion.
"I ought to get back to camp..." She mumbled to herself, looking down at the deer next to her in dismay.

Young continued to stare ahead, biting his nails nervously as Niamh spoke to him. He shook his head slowly, his blonde locks of hair lifting due to the movement and lack of gravity.
"It's Young actually. Won is my family name," He mumbled softly, staring blankly ahead.
"No matter what happens, we'll still die," He continued, his panic replaced with absolute shock.
Finally, he looked over and met the girls eyes.
"The lucky ones will die on impact," He said, lowering his gaze to his lap as he nervously twisted a ring around one of his fingers.
"Or toxic exposure will get us. Maybe if anything is alive, that'll kill us," He continued, looking up from his lap to glance around the group of young adults.
"The council has no proof that the Earth has even a possibility of sustaining life," He smiled, a bittersweet look on his face as he thought about his fathers words.
"It's more of a way to deal with over populating. At least, that's what my father told me,"As the ship began to get hot and turbulent, Young closed his eyes. He held onto his harness with a death grip, feeling his stomach drop. The crash landing was much more unpleasant that he would have hoped for but he managed to get by with a few scratches. He immediately wrenched himself from his restraints and began to pace nervously.
"Oh god, oh god, this is terrible," He muttered to himself, beginning to fall back into a state of panic.
